It was 30 degrees Celsius outside and the room had no air-co. It was to hot. After a day of hard work, i expected to cool down, but this was a nightmare. The rooms where not clean at all. I will never come back here.
I stayed there with my boyfriend last summer for a day and it definetely worthed the money. The staff was nice and helpful, the room was big enough and clean, the bed really comfy. We also had a kitchenette in the room, which was very useful to us, WiFi, TV. Our room was chique and modern and for me this is an important detail. Yes, the corridor seemed a little creepy because it's painted all red and yellow, but when we entered the room we were impressed.
The room was spacious with a fridge and microwave, which was very practical. The cleanliness of the bathroom was much appreciated. The hotel team was friendly and ready to provide assistance to guests. I stayed in the hotel in July so it was extremely hot. Despite the fact that there was no air-con, the ventilation of the hotel was not very good, making it hard for me to sleep well in the evening. However, am I the only one who find the doors and corridor painted mostly in red a little bit uncomfortable? And there was a kind of Feng Shui mirror being put on top of the door of one of the rooms on my floor, giving a weird feeling. I did not really enjoy entering and leaving my room everyday via that corridor.
The room was really basic, which is okay for the price, however there were some problems to mention: - the shower is so so small, even for one person! - there was a strange sound at night, as if from a pipe, which was a bit annoying - no AC - the lady at the front reception was not helpful at all about giving me a hairdryer, of which they have only one circulating in the hotel. When I asked for it, she told me only that she didn't know who had it at the time, without trying to assist me further. The good thing is that the room and hotel in general is clean and it isnt too far from the main city. Overall, for 50 Euros a night, it is acceptable.
While I did expect the room and bathroom to be small, I did expect to have a clean bathroom. The walls and the floor of the bathroom were filthy. We refused to even use the toilet paper. The beds were small but clean. They did not vacuum. When leaving, we asked reception to call a taxi for us and we were handed his phone so that we could call the taxi ourselves! The reception did not even know where to call....the information was found on a desk in the lobby with all the information. The breakfast was barely OK.
Couldn't expect much as we managed last minute to get a half price room, but even if was full price apart from location not a bad place to stay. Location a bit out of town in what looks like a industrial estate but clean, decent facilities and bed so good for easy, simple stay. We did not have breakfast but not that type of hotel - seems mostly to be used by students as accommodation in town, so if looking for hotel feel this is not place for you. Location wise easy to get to tram stop and Uber from town was 10 euros back so if on a budget worth staying at. For a good priced, stopover hotel worth going not if on a holiday in Strasbourg.
Very tidy ,friendly staff , heating works well also very close too tram lines and shopping centre . Beds were comfy but would prefer firmer pillows also good that you could cook your own breakfast..good value for money room 119 make sure the lift works !
This isn't a hotel which I should advise for others. Everything is old and needs to be replaced. With 33 degrees outside an airco isn't a luxury. So if you have another option to sleep, almost 100% it is better than this one
The hotel isn't in a fabulous location, but it's perfectly adequate whether you're a traveller with a car, a student or a business traveller. The rooms are fine. We had a one bedroom apartment and the kitchen had all of the equipment you would need to self-cater. Our room was clean and had a good supply of towels, toilet rolls etc. Breakfast was basic but okay. The breakfast room got quite crowded but there were extra tables and chairs in the reception area.
No good service but clean enough to sleep. Old facilities. Rooms without confort. Good hotel if you wanna sleep one night saving your money. Breakfast with croissant, bread and ham and cheese. Far by the city center, after the midnight you have to grab a taxi to come back to the hotel. Industrial area.
