Very well thought-out studio with full barthroom and small kitchen with hob, microwave, fridge and dishwasher. Plenty of storage space. Situated on busy tram route, the apartment was remarkably quiet.

I have stayed lately at this hotel because I like to say to customers and friends this is my type of hotel. But for this one I totally got knocked out my shorts when I stayed there for 2 days. First I could not find the place because there is no sign outside. Secondly the room was heated by a electrical heater but after complaining they offer another room. Thirdly in this other room there was a permanent and terrible odor in the toilet. Fourth I could hear the tram in my room so badly almost if was sleeping on the street. Finally when I left I received an invoice 24 hours after I was gone. These all the reasons why I cannot recommend you this place. What a bad experience I have encountered.

Great location, right in the centre of Strasbourg. Spacious, clean apartments. WiFi is very reliable. Small library on the third floor where you can stay after check-out, reading, working, etc. Very friendly and helpful staff. Situated in a very old building that has been transformed into an aparthotel. Would recommend taking the staircase to get an impression of the original building.

We stayed in Strasbourg for Christmas to visit the Christmas Markets. The Adagio is a self catering hotel that was great for our family of 2 adults and 2 kids. We were in a single large room with a small kitchen area and dining room which was also the bedroom for the kids. The room was functional and clean. We also pre-paid the breakfasts which were the only prepared meal offered and they were great. Lots to choose from. There was also a library and a small gym. The reception staff spoke good english and were very helpful with advice and directions. They also booked restaurants for us. The location is brilliant and we could walk everywhere in minutes which was great as the Grande Isle is closed to all traffic including taxis for the Christmas Markets, so we had no transport hassles once on the Isle. Because of this security closure, the only small challenge was we had to haul our suitcases from the train station the 1 Km though security to the hotel. It wasn't snowing or raining when we arrived, so that was an added bit of adventure. You can choose to catch a couple of trams insetad. But be aware of this at Christmas time when the markets are open. Overall, this is a great family mid-range hotel.

Well located, convinient and pleasant option when in Strasbourg. Big rooms looking like new, where you can not sleep but also have quick meals. Only a few steps from the Kleber square and literally besides the main tram stations. Walking distance from the TGV ststion.

This was an apartment hotel to my suprise - a lot of space, kitrchen, nice, nice, nice views - breakfast was very good - it had been perfect if coffee had been real coffee - hard to find these automatised days - and baquettes for every day. Orange pressée was a luxury and porc sausages were delicious. Very good sleeping quality here. Thanks a lot Adagio, Je reviens!

The best part about this hotel is its location. It is within 10min walk from all the places of interest and restaurants. The surroundings are clean and safe. There is a concierge at all time on ground floor. Contrary to other comments the hotel was not difficult to locate and taxi can almost get to the front door. We booked a one bedroom suite. The furnishing and bathroom was clean and barely adequate. Service was minimal. There was no room cleaning for the 3 days we stayed but we knew when we booked. We found the corridor rather dirty and no one seems to clean our 4th floor corridor. For the period of 3 days someone left half cup of coffee on the corridor window sill and it was there when we checked out. Common area cleanliness need to be improved. Breakfast was included but only some basic food items and drinks was served.

By far the best thing about this property is its location. Being right in the heart of Strasbourg everything was accessible shops, restaurants, petite France and even the train station. The area was reasonably upmarket with neighbours including Apple and Starbucks. Galleries Lafeyette across the square. Felt very safe walking around here at any hour of the day. The apartment layout kitchenette with a full size domestic fridge was also very useful in being able to prepare basic meals. We opted for the larger 1bedroom apartment as opposed to the studio for the two of us but with the rather awkward layout and design combined with clumsy furniture felt the space was not utilised well. Things like the bedroom not having a closet. Instead it was located in the entrance hall. Windows in the living room could not be easily opened without having to drag the dining table out of the way. I'm no architect but to me it just simply feels the building (which I expect to be quite old) underwent the simplest and most cost effective conversion to produce a series of spaces which could be branded as apartments and studios. Little was considered in terms of design and guest convenience. Acceptable for short term stays of a night or two. Further more as others have indicated the maintenance and upkeep really needs to be addressed. Scuff marks on the walls. Furnishings looking very worn. The beds looked rather basic but surprisingly provided a comfortable nights sleep. All in all great position but felt more like AirB&B than a reputable professional chain.

The hotel was very difficult to reach. We walked by the small window front the first time around the block. The rooms were clean, but the hallway carpet was filthy and smelled. The location was very convenient with lots of shops and restaurants within walking distance. No parking on site, the a garage was close by and the hotel validated for a reduced rate.

Romms were clean, spacious and comfortable. Some staff members were indifferent and not able to explain hotels entrance. Its loacted on a street which is not accessible by car so be prepared to drag luggage from parking which can be 5 minutes walk. Google map points to wrong location so follow street names to reach. Avoid if travelling with young children.
