Very clean family run property!

The property looks very run down. From the rusty entrance door, unpaved driveway, rusty air conditioner to a room with a “doggy” smell. The view outside our window was a rundown shed with broken windows. They offer a hot breakfast in cardboard containers in a very dark dining room. I just sorry booked two night in advance.

Generally a nice hotel, the staff was friendly and helpful; if you have a slow drain, they're quick to take care of it. It isn't a five star hotel, but they don't bill themselves as such either. The mattresses are like all hotel mattresses, but these seem to have less mileage than most. I didn't use the pools or sauna, so I can't comment on those. Overall, a pretty decent place to stay in Stowe.

The property was clean and our room was comfortable… the property was very basic. Good for family on budget. Not dog friendly, Should not allow people to walk with ski boots in the morning. Trying to sleep at 6:30am and hearing the clunking boots down the hall is not good for sleeping. It was an older facility but it was clean and fairly comfortable. Location to ski resort was good.

This property was everything and more that I wanted. It’s location is amazing from Stowe only 5 minutes and super close to town for dinner. It was very nice to have breakfast every morning and we were able to use some of the snacks provided with breakfast as a snack later in the day. I always love hotels that provide tea and coffee all day and this place did not disappoint. It rained one day of skiing and it was nice to come back have a cup of tea and sit by the fire. The hot tub, pool, and sauna were all amazing after a long day of skiing. I found this hotel to be quiet and everyone we met to be friendly. I felt very very safe here. Next year if I come back to Stowe I will come back here.

3 miles from parking areas at Stowe Mountain. 3 miles from center of Stowe. Order property but very nicely maintained and very clean very very good service At this point the cooked breakfast is made to go but is very filling and good for a day of skiing.

Breakfast was excellent and pool and hot tub were great. Heating unit was a bit loud in the room and sink has a slow drain so would fill up quickly.

I don't even know where to begin. We stayed in one of the suites. The people seemed pretty nice, but we hardly had any interaction with them to fully judge. The room remind me of the cheap landlords I've experienced through life. It was incredibly dusty, the flooring wasn't cut to fit, the room had an old stink to it, the carpeting looked like it belonged on a 60 year old pool table, the door connecting the rooms had a a large gap below it that let you hear everything your neighbor was saying, the ac wouldn't work, and the front door has a large gap that allowed drafts to blow through the apartment and wonky locks that needed to be messed with appropriately to be safely secured. The people before us must have left veggies to rot in the mini fridge as there was a stinky goo under it that permeated the air in the room. I should have said something but we were there for only a few days so I didn't want to bother. As for safety I need to mention two things for anyone planning a stay here. One, I did see a black bear right in the parking lot which is excusable considering the location, but number two concerns what is either the owners home or a weirdly placed neighbor right out back behind the apartments. I went to look at the nice creek and while enjoying my time their dog very nearly attacked me. The yard isn't completely enclosed and the dog was able to run right up to me. I had to slowly back away while the dog was aggressively inching closer, barking and growling.

Friendly staff, very clean, excellent hot breakfast; nice pool, hot tub and sauna.

great friendly staff clean room, at the end of the rec bike path

Very cute property, less than 10 minutes away from skiing Stowe Mtn. Loved the hot tub and the pool. Nice owners who are super accommodating!

This is a quintessential Vermont experience. A comfortable environment with rustic touches to remind you of old school New England. We had enough room for 4 adults and were pleased with the bedding. The hot breakfast is served in a lovely space and the staff were friendly and accommodating. Plenty of food to take you through a day of beautiful outdoor activities.

This is an old property but is super well maintained and clean. The breakfast is great that is included.

Wow the hotel is just right there close to all the activities Stowe has to offer. They have a very nice breakfast every morning. Very good complete breakfast and its delicious. They hotel also has a nice indoor pool and hot tub. We had a very nice relaxing time there. The room is neat and quiet. Just cant be better for our vacation. The manager is very friendly to us. Will visit again for sure.

Nice location, great breakfast and a peaceful accommodation

Far surpassed my expectations! We had a lovely stay at Northern Lights. Such a friendly experience from check in to breakfast, which was full of Green Mountain coffee and homemade scones and muffins. The pool, sauna, and hottub were great as well. Would definitely stay again.
