This is a quintessential Vermont experience. A comfortable environment with rustic touches to remind you of old school New England. We had enough room for 4 adults and were pleased with the bedding. The hot breakfast is served in a lovely space and the staff were friendly and accommodating. Plenty of food to take you through a day of beautiful outdoor activities.

This is an old property but is super well maintained and clean. The breakfast is great that is included.

Wow the hotel is just right there close to all the activities Stowe has to offer. They have a very nice breakfast every morning. Very good complete breakfast and its delicious. They hotel also has a nice indoor pool and hot tub. We had a very nice relaxing time there. The room is neat and quiet. Just cant be better for our vacation. The manager is very friendly to us. Will visit again for sure.

Nice location, great breakfast and a peaceful accommodation

Far surpassed my expectations! We had a lovely stay at Northern Lights. Such a friendly experience from check in to breakfast, which was full of Green Mountain coffee and homemade scones and muffins. The pool, sauna, and hottub were great as well. Would definitely stay again.

This was a great stay. The pool was lots of fun and the staff were wonderful. Would highly recommend.

Breakfast was impressive: hot sausages, scrambled eggs, and either pancakes or French toast for the main meal. Then there were 3 or more types of muffins and scones fresh baked. Apples and oranges, juices and Green Mountain coffee. Or cold cereal for those who chose. All served buffet style.

Good, clean hotel great for skiers. Very close to Stowe skiing and provides a decent breakfast with your room. Drawbacks were no restaurant for lunch or dinner and no lounge or bar. We always had to find something open for lunch as there was more availability in places serving dinner. We stayed midweek in Jan so place was very quiet. Pool and hot tub closed most of the day so not much to do here. Rooms were ok and kept very clean. But good value in a no frills hotel!

hidden gem of Stowe. Great breakfast, pool and whirlpool!

Wish the pool hours were longer, but otherwise a really great place to stay!

This was the first week of a 5 week trip threw New England and Southeast. Mike was absolutely great. I made reservations for what I thought was 2 days. The internet kept going off and on all the way there. Come to find out I only had reservations for the last day. Mike was able to help us out and we had both nights as I thought I requested. The Hotel is so quaint and comfortable. Such a nice change from the chain hotels. Great breakfast. Mike and all the staff we met were so nice and friendly. Gotta Love Vermont!!!!

Nice grounds, indoor pool, nice breakfast in the breakfast room

The staff is very friendly and acommodating. Your stay includes a very good breakfast buffet. There is a pool, hot tub and sauna to help unwind after a day on the slopes. Overall an excellent alternative to the very high priced mountain lodging.

Brilliant place to return to after experiencing what the mountain has to offer. Location works for the bike ride down into town as the track wanders along the river with plenty to see.

Requested for king size bedding but was not provided.

This place must have grown from add ons to an old-style motel. It has charming decor and some quirky features, such as a bridge over the inside pool that connects one wing of the motel with the main section. There is a large dining area where the delicious free breakfast is served. Some features seemed a little worn, but it looks as if the hosts/owners are working on updating and renovating, while keeping the quaint features of the place.

hotel was ok, room was ok nothing exciting. room was a little dirty. pool area ok but no railing to use to get in and out of hot tub which is a safty hazzard. breakfast was disappointing. over priced for what you get.
