The deck has ski trail views. Go to the swimming holes in back of the propety. The Stowe Rec Path, Matterhorn Bar&Grill, Topnotch Resort/Spa, Stowe Farmers Market and all the breweries Stowe has to offer are all near by. The bus to the resort stops out front of the property.

The property looked just like the pictures, but the exterior was shabby and unkept. Inside, it was clean and the beds were comfortable. The bathrooms were old and in need of updating. The biggest issue was the lack of hot water. We had planned this trip for six months and booked it three months in advance, so this was very disappointing. I noticed previous reviews mentioning the same issue back in May and June, so I assumed it had been fixed—but it wasn’t. After three days without hot water or showers, we had to leave early. The owner didn’t offer any compensation and simply said we could leave if we wanted. Very disappointing experience.

Very nice stay overall. Hot water was a bit touchy but not a huge deal. The chalet was nicely appointed and clean. Beds were super comfortable as well.
