Overall bare bones for the cost
Pros:Very close to shuttle bus route to mountain Drivable to local restaurants / watering holes and the Main StreetDog friendlyCons (easily fixable):Arrived to someone else’s full dog poop bags on the front porch and a pantry full of half eaten snacks (chips, crackers, fruit snacks) No snow clearance- not even a shovel is provided- needed one in order to enter and exit driveway without spinning out No instruction for depositing trash outdoors - told to keep it insideLimited hooks for wet towels and other snow soaked clothingNo cleaning products for wiping common areas or cleaning up after ourselves Not many kitchen amenities as there were not even dish towels Bath Towel sizes unrealistically smallCouches were extremely uncomfortable Tried to contact property manager and was forwarded to a chatbot The fee for a second dog was wildly expensive

It’s ehhh
Originally 6 of us but reduced to 4 for a mountain biking weekend so just guys. The unit was clean. The furniture was miserable. Hard as a rock. I mean this stuff came straight out of Walmart.
The entrance to the lower level was full of weeds as in it hasn’t been weed whacked all year.
My buddy plugged in his CPAP and the outlet sparked and shocked him. No outlets worked in the bedrooms but one guest was a licensed electrician so he figured out.
This place is a 5 with a small amount of work. It’s kinda a shame. If we had brought our spouses we would have had to check out.
It was better then a motel 6 but that’s about it.

Simple, no frills stay
We had booked another property in the area but at the last minute we were notified that there was damage to the original location and we were offered Strom Farm as an alternative.
Overall, it was fine. Nothing exciting.
Upon arriving to the property, my son was immediately stung by a yellow jacket. When the nest was reported to the management company, it took three days for someone to come out and take care of it. We took care of it ourselves on the first night but the lack of responsiveness from the management was disappointing.
There was no AC in the house which would have been fine because it was perfect window weather at night but in the evenings there was a strong sewer/manure smell in the neighborhood that wafted into the house.

Home layout was functional found inside of kitchen draws to be dirty, dirty glasses in kitchen cabinets. Limited cooking pots and pans and no coffee filters. Close to downtown, skiing, and restaurants.

Deck under construction and septic
The house was fine, clean and mostly comfortable. However, the biggest draw was a beautiful deck and when we arrived, there was a “keep out” sign on the door and the deck was demolished. Then there was someone working on it without our knowledge (don’t love random people showing up unannounced). And unfortunately there was a very strong smell of septic.

Great location, very utilitarian. Listing inaccurate.
Check in was very easy, though it did not feel like dealing with a person and was almost exclusively through automated texts from Vacasa. That was fine and convenient.
The location cannot be beat- there's no understating that.
Plenty of room for a medium-large group, decent amenities.
Cons are the fact the deck is roped off and inaccessible and there's no outdoor furniture either. This was not described in the listing and we were not notified despite it clearly being an issue for other people renting it too. FYI- there is no functional deck which makes outdoor access and outdoor spaces basically nonexistent. Not happy with that given how nice the weather was and the yard seemed well kept too.
The kitchen is poorly stocked when it comes to basics. Nice knife set but missing basics like strainers, measuring cups, etc that make it awkward to plan any meals at the property. Some courtesy items were included like soap and paper towels, but a very small amount of them.
Lots of spiders/bugs but it wasn't a huge detractor.
Mostly irked by the lack of disclosure of the damaged deck, which was a factor in us choosing to book it. Even just updating the listing would have been something but it's still falsely advertised.
I would recommend to others who are not interested in spending a lot of time on the property. It is so close by to nice places to eat, a farmer's market on Sundays, and plenty of breweries, entertainment, and hiking, that I think it was a decent deal.

Basic
It served our needs but I would not stay here again. There was no path to the front door - had to walk through the grass. They asked us to leave our shoes off but the floors did not feel clean. I had to kill 3 spiders in the basement hiding behind the bedroom and bathroom doors. The bathrooms were recently redone and the beds were ok. The deck is falling apart and not usable but we were not made aware of this until after we arrived and saw the do not enter sign and caution tape.
