The room was spacious for three persons. The extra bed was a sofa bed which was a bit soft. Bathroom had separate shower and bathtube which was very nice and it was very clean. Breakfast was plenftiful with a wide selection.
Clean, conveniently located away from busyness of.. but close to downtown and airport with train experience. Excellent Breakfast .. Staff Very friendly. When I come back to Sweden I will stay here again
Fine hotel, good value, was hard to get a parking since the garage was full and quite expensive parking outside of the hotel. If you have a few minutes to spare you can find more reasonable parking fees in 200 meter.
The hotel was quite good and in a great location for me. It is located next to the shopping mall and train station. The room had good facilities and was a good size. The breakfast was great with a great selection. The fridge in the room was broken, did not cool down. Also the bed was not very comfortable, just ok. I would however stay there again mostly due to the location, service and breakfast.
It's absolutely NOT even near the citycentre! Rooms are somewhat small but okay. Nice decorated. Bathroom is definitely not clean! The view at my room is some giant concrete wall from a shoppingmall. Front desk staff is friendly and check in went swift and good. The bar/ restaurant is okay but lacking any sphere. The staff is really and utterly uninterested in the guests. You practically have to bag for service and a drink. Making tables for the next day is way more important than the customers. Cleaning spoons has clearly higher priority than serving the guests?! The staff miraculously is able to walk through the restaurant, completely ignoring the customers and avoiding any eye-contact! 00:30 the ask you to take your drink and finish it in the lobby because they want to close and go home. That the frontdesk has some "secret" stash of drinks because the bar opened only at 6 o'clock PM Is mind-blowing ridiculous?!? Breakfast is nice and sufficient but the lack of personnel leads to an abundance of dirty tables and depleted food plates. Left side of the breakfast room has the atmosphere of a crematorium. Paying around €230!!!!!! Euro per night is about triple the value of the hotel. My company chose this hotel but I personally will never ever come to this place again.
It is like a shopping centre when you walk in. Reception: not friendly, gives poor impression on Swedish people in general as it was the first time for me having conversation with Swedish person. Room: Nice, clean, modernist style. But chamber maid who cleaned our room did not do good job and only took our money. Breakfast: OK for once but we stayed three nights and got seriously bored with it. There is a kids area so family with small kids must feel it so helpful. Swimming pool: full of screaming kids, shallow, so I only walked in five seconds then out. Not worth paying extra and felt cheated. Sauna: OK if no kids are around but so many unsupervised kids are all over, running between sauna and pool, they have to wait to see the first accident? Location, very good. The shopping centre is right next to it and has a good supermarket where you can get most of the stuff that you need. Overall, for the location and nearby facilities, we may come back again.
Well situated hotel with regard to public transportation, center of town easily reached but price of room much more reasonable than in more centrally located hotels. Clean and no-nonsense, can without hesitation be recommended.
I booked a family room. Towels only for 2 people initially. I had to go downstairs to reception to collect extra sheets to make my own couch bed as nobody had made it. I complained about it to reception in the morning. They gave me a SEK100 restaurant voucher. In conclusion, I had to pay SEK1151 to make my own bed. pretty steep right?
Staying at Scandic is a pleasant experience! The reception was very polite to receive and other services are humble. A wide range of items in breakfast is super plus with kids. We all enjoyed the stay and breakfast :)!
Chips, contactlinses and dust on the floor. Several hairs in the bathtub. Not enough bedlinnen for us so had to call at 9 pm about it! No hotel information on broshyres on the desk. My daughter burned her hand on the bedlamp, got a huge blister that is still there after 10 days and the one in the staff that I talked to didnt even care. The girls didnt get the surprise gift that all kids should get accordingly to their guidelines.
