This budget hotel is really good, you get what you pay for, and even some extras! Friendly staff and clean rooms. Free breakfast is nice, but basic, like the room and bathroom. If you need a cheap stay close to the highway, this is the place!
Our stay in this hotel was an absolute delight! The single room w/shared bath that we had booked online was unavailable, so they upgraded us to a quadruple room (with a real double bed!) and private toilet/shower!! It was wonderful. All linen is provided and the rooms are cleaned daily. All the staff are helpful and friendly, especially Robert in reception! The free breakfast was more than adequate, including breads, meats, cheese, eggs, cold cereals and hot porridge, and a selection of confitures and sauces. Though outside the city, transport by metro and bus is easy, and the hotel is near two shopping centers (as well as IKEA) with reasonably priced restaurants - a major plus with food being so expensive in the city. Though the outdoor surrounds aren't beautiful, the hotel itself is quite pretty inside with a glassed corridor and a lovely garden in the center. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it.
I found Hotell Dialog to be very basic. It was what I expect from a budget hotel. Decent sized rooms and comfortable beds provided a good nights sleep. I would the staff to not be overly friendly. The breakfast was very basic and there tea selection was poor.
The room although small was clean and the beds were very comfortable. Don't be put off by the outside. The location is fantastic wirh a huge shopping mall across the street. The staff were very helpful and friendly.
Good location, ample breakfast, cleanliness, friendly service. We spent two nights here, everything was fine. In half an hour you can be in the city center. Very good transport. Free wifi. The receptionists were very nice.
Start with the good stuff. Helpful personnel which was really nice. BUT it is not OK to have such poor cleaning standards. The bedsheets looked washed but were full of stains. The inner blankets were just horrible, stained with blood and will not even think what. The curtains, walls stained, the floors unclean. Breakfast was OK with a selection of porridge, cold cuts and yoghurt. Honestly I do not recognise any of the descriptions here. The building has 2 parts and we were staying in the back part which looked and sounded more like a refugee camp than a hotel. Might be different in the front part, no idea. This hotel is not OK not even for night in my opinion. Sorry!
Peaceful place, away from the city center (25 minutes by public transport). We got there by car and, since we had only two days to visit Stochholm, we left the car parked at the hotel (it is free) and visit the city on the public transport. Staff was very helpful in telling us where and how should we take the bus and the underground.
It was clean and adequate but I was not wowed. I like to book a hotel out of town when on a motoring holiday. This suited us fine but the parking was a bit muddy when raining. The hotel staff were great, especially the chambermaids and catering staff who were clearly very hardworking and helpful. The place lacked ambiance and had that 'hostel' feel about it. there was no way of controlling the centralised air conditioning so that kept us awake at night. Furthermore, one of our first floor windows wouldn't lock which was a concern.
In order to be able to access Stockholm by use of public transportation we decided to stay a night in the outskirts of Stockholm, saving expensive and non-existing parking in the centre of Stockholm. The Dialog Hotel is located in the western party of Stockholm, in an area of offices and shopping areas. The exterior of the building is not so nice, but once inside it is actually nice, clean and functional. There is parking in front of the hotel for no extra charge. The rooms are nice and clean and it is definitely very quit in the area. The breakfast menu is normal choice and very good. What one should take into consideration is that it is quite a bit to walk to the subway in Skärholmen - 20 minutes if you walk fast. Of course there are buses taking you to Skärholmen and further. For the price it is definitely good value.
My brother and sister and I stayed here for 2 nights during our Sweden vacation. At first glance, I thought - uh-oh. But it was great! Very clean and roomy triple room, very good selection of European breakfast foods (included in stay) It reminded me of the hostels I visited back as a young adult. Walking distance to IKEA, then we hopped on FREE bus to downtown Stockholm.
