Welcome to a unique holiday experience in part of our home. We live in a charming, disused village school just under 3 km outside Østermarie, close to the protected bird sanctuary in Ølene. Here, there are several lookout towers from which you can be lucky enough to see sea eagles with binoculars. Often, we are lucky enough to see and hear cranes flying over our house. Just outside our door, our closest neighbor is a small grove with a pond where there are many birds, including the melodious nightingale.



We live three generations together in a family co-housing community. Our ages are 1, 3, 7, 11, 15, 32, 34, 47, 74, and 75 years old. You will have your own "one-room apartment," but you will likely meet some of us on the property as we are often around.



The agency will take care of the practical matters and arrangements, but you are always welcome to ask us if there is anything you need or are unsure about. Besides what you can read in the checklist, we can offer charging for an electric car if needed. Bornholm offers many experiences, and we are happy to be so close to Brændesgårdshaven, only 4.8 km from here.
