The little brick house was both modern and also a step back in time… set in the heart of the quaint town of Ste. Genevieve. It was easy walking distance to shops and sights and restaurants. Parking was right in front of the house. It was very comfortable, very clean and very quiet.

We went to Birdies coffee Shop, Pats Pastries, The Anvil and El San Filipe Mexican Grill. Hiked Pickle Springs, Hawn State Park and Hickory Canyon. We hope to come back and explore more! A cute place to stay for our anniversary!

This house was ideal for my solo retreat! I enjoyed my evening walks around town. It was clean, quiet, and cozy. Restaurants, shops, and coffee shops were all a very short walk.

Have come to Ste. Genevieve many times and have always wanted to stay here, and I am very glad I finally had the chance! The location is perfect for the town (shopping, sights, restaurants all within walking distance). The place is definitely larger than it seems from the street! Very comfortable inside, and I did not think it was lacking in anything.

This is a great place to stay in Sainte Genevieve. We could open our door and walk out into the middle of town. Coffee shops, restaurants, shopping and activities all within walking distance. This VRBO is very quaint, and well worth staying at. Host makes you feel like you’re home!

Perfect "Little Brick House" in a small town. Loved everything about this old house! All the details, the location. Spend lots of time on the back porch! Came to relax and read but the town has several wineries that we'll be back to visit. Loved it!

Just what we needed

This was a fun property right on Main Street! It was nicely decorated, had all the essentials, easy check-in and check out process. Didn’t have much interaction via messages with the owner but the few I did were answered promptly. I would like to come back and rent this property again for more than just one night but for this trip it was perfect!

Loved it

Everything about it was wonderful. The house the style the charming staircase. Nice coffee bar and decor of every room unique and pleasant. The back porch the lights, the little table out front, Main Street ambiance day and night. The street lights out front at night and the twinkling colored lights around. Lots of friendly people around town. Great time and memorable.

Old but rustic

Overall it was fine but it could use some updates. The shower is tiny and needing a new shower head. The bed downstairs was not comfortable and the train comes by A LOT. Nothing to deter us from coming back. The town and people are friendly, good food and wine.

Charming and comfortable

We appreciated the Little Brick House for its charm and warmth, and the understated decorations that didn’t outshine the history and character of the structure. It is in a convenient and walkable location, and we enjoyed walking to restaurants, historic structures, and shops. I also really appreciated having a queen bed and two twin beds so that my teenage boys didn’t have to share a bed (so many listings have two queens to sleep four people, and teenage boys don’t want to he’d share with each other or with a parent!).

Made a great occasion even better

We were there for our grandson's wedding. This little house exceeded all expectation. Just lovely and with so many extra thoughtful touches, i.e. pumpkins and fall flowers for cozy October. Too many to list.
