Hotel has two sides. Track sice must be for train lovers. Tracks run right nex to it. The 9:30 and 4 am trains are awesome since it sounds like they are passing right through your room. Next time provide side of hotel as an option before booking.

It's ok for one night short stop, but room beds not great, cleanliness just okay

We stayed 4 nights and went to many interesting places in the area.

My window was 25 feet from a railroad track, a real surprise after the first coal train passed my window

We had camped over the Labor Day weekend and were hot and dusty when we arrived. The lady at the desk called housekeeping to see if any rooms were available. We were allowed to check in before the stated time. We showered then visited our friends in town. The hotel had everything we needed for a one night stay. We didn't have tome to use the indoor pool. The breakfast was varied and abundant.

It was the best 3 star we stayed in on this trip. had a pool and nice breakfast. not to far off 64

We came in at night. The staff was very helpful. The breakfast next morning was delicious!

We spent one night here while traveling, the hotel was clean and the room was comfortable. They had a very nice breakfast with cereals, rolls, cheese, fruit, etc. It was clear the management runs a tight ship!

Booked hotel because it was located right off highway, and customer reviews. Very clean, well maintained, perfect for a quick stop!

Very nice place, very nice staff at late shift! Decent breakfast but packed area (its supposed to be getting new addition). Didn't try the pool but it looked nice even though its located near front of hotel which is sort of weird. Nice place, right off highway, nice people, will DEFINITELY stay agin when passing through!

This was a great spot to take a rest in the midst of a long journey. The pool was refreshing and the restaurant within walking distance was very good. We would stop there again an maybe stay longer!!

Nice reception! Have trains that go by and desk clerk moved us to the side of the Inn that would not hear it. Very clean and welcoming place. Nice dining next door and cheap gas next to it. Great if you are traveling and on a schedule.

Staying at this particular Best Western was very nice. The location was perfect. The hotel was the cleanest I have seen in a while. Breakfast room is still crowded but they managed to spread the food out. The room was great but needed an extra blanket. I would recommend this hotel to anyone going to the Shenandoah ares.

This hotel fit our needs very well. Located immediately off the highway... The clerk made us aware of the train tracks, but because we reserved in advance we had a front room. No problem.

We enjoyed our stay. Especially appreciated the desk clerk allowing us to check in early so we could change clothes after a 9 hour drive to attend a wedding.

I was there for a job interview and took my daughter with me on the trip to check out the area. The staff was very helpful in finding things in the area. The hotel was clean, the pool felt wonderful, maybe just a tad too much chlorine. The breakfast was good with a variety of foods.

My boyfriend and I stayed here on a trip to the mountains. Crabtree falls was our actual destination and being only about 40 minutes away it was not so bad. There are several gas stations nearby as well as plenty of places to eat. We had Cracker Barrel one night and another night we were able to order out dominos pizza from nearby and they delivered it right to our room!If you enjoy shopping there is a little town about 10 minutes away but the roads can be difficult to navigate once you get in there! Overall it's very nice. Located right near the interstate and as I said nearby many places to eat and even a walmart that is about 6 minutes away- haha! The room was nice and big. A few complaints would be a slight musty smell when first entering the room.... but once you got in the room for a few minutes you did not notice. Another is the bed was not too comfortable. Sleep was full of tossing around and my boyfriend woke with a sore back. One last complaint was the water. They have a coffee maker in the bathroom right by the sink and I was very thirsty one night so I decided to get water from the sink. If you stay here I would advise not to. The water tasted like pool water and within an hour my throat was sore and I have been sick ever since. My boyfriend was not affected. he did not drink the water.Aside from all those negative things it would make a person think they would never want to stay here but honestly it was an enjoyable experience. It was our first time going on vacation together. The hotel was clean. There was cable TV though at times we found it difficult to find anything to watch. It was pretty quiet despite the fact that a train runs right behind the hotel- I never would have guessed it. The indoor pool is nice. We were able to get in that several times during the trip and if you hit the right time of the day you can get in when no one else is there : ). The "deluxe" continental breakfast is not too bad either. You can get all sorts of pastry type things from english muffins, toast, blueberry muffins, croissants, bagels, and cereals, donuts, sausage biscuits, orange slices, hard boiled eggs, and various breakfast drinks. The lighting in the room is very nice. I think there are about 7 or 8 lights in just the main room!!! Each one could be operated as a whole by one switch or individually creating as much or as little or as directed light as you need. I thought this was very helpful. There is also a refrigerator in the room as well as microwave. This was very helpful when we were able to buy drinks from the gas station and also left over food and store it inside to keep cool. The bathroom was also nice- not too small. They even left a tiny rubber duck on the edge of the tub which I thought was a cute touch. My final review summarized would be it's a nice hotel. Nowhere is perfect unless you pay way up there for it and for most people they cant afford something like that. This is a hotel for someone who wants to stay somewhere nice but cant exactly afford somewhere really pricey. : ) I hope this helps someone!

I was really expecting an ordinary, noisy hotel right off the interstate. But it was great. Well kept and overall quite. Had a good night's sleep.

Great travelers hotel, right off I-81 and next to a Cracker Barrel and Shoneys. Clean rooms. Only down side was the train that passes behind the hotel, but my kids thought it was great. Only one train came by during our stay so it's not a big deal.
