Excellent hotel from all aspects. Great location and hotel with staff that serve all your guest needs. We stayed few times in several rooms class and all were great, especially the junior suite. Highly recommended!
We stay here over Christmas and it was a great experience. Hotel half empty but nevertheless you could feel this special atmosphere. We got a lovely prestige suite. Special thanks to Ela for her friendliness and hospitality (at breakfast).
I stayed at the hotel for 5 nights over the Christmas holiday. I got a great rate booking directly at the hotel website. Check-in was quick and efficient and the front desk staff were very nice. I booked a superior room which had a king bed and was facing the street (rather than the interior atrium). The windows were equipped with good insulation so there was no street noise. However, other than the fact that it had a window/faced the street, the only difference was price. The room was nicely decorated and furniture was in good repair. There was a strangely small TV stand with what was a fairly small TV given the size of the room. The cable worked well and there was a good selection of TV stations. Wifi was free/open signal and it was consistent and stable. The color scheme and décor of the room was very nice. The linen were high quality, bed extremely comfortable with a feather bed on top of the mattress and nice, clean, crisp sheets. The bathroom was a bit small but had a nice tub/shower combo. The towels were oversized and very fluffy, soap and shower products were amazing and the water pressure in bathroom was great. Housekeeping does a great job. I was given a discount for daily breakfast and I am glad I took advantage of the offer. Breakfast included a wide variety of offerings. They have a made-to-order grill where you can order hot foods including omelets, French toast and other items. One nice feature was the fact that you can request breakfast be delivered to your room if you prefer at no additional charge. Part of my stay included a free drink at the hotel bar. I ordered a long island ice tea which was very well blended. I decided to have a bite to eat from the restaurant while at the bar and ordered the club sandwich but was a pretty disappointed. For some reason they put tartar sauce on the sandwich and this ruined it for me. It made me a bit hesitant to try any other offerings from the restaurant but it seemed to have a lovely ambiance. Finally, I decided to book a treatment at the hotel spa--just a pedicure. I was able to get an appointment fairly easily and the spa staff are friendly and accommodating. However, I felt the pedicure was awkwardly performed while I was lying down on a massage table. The pedicure was more than 1 1/2 hours long and didn't include any foot or leg massage or application of any lotion. Yet the quality of the pedicure/polish at the end was very good. Overall, a lovely, comfortable hotel.
First of all - the location, just perfect. In heart of the old city and very close to most of the main attractions. Breakfast - amazing (and I like to eat). You have a lot of choices of everything and it's very very delicious (just very expensive if you have to pay for it separately). The staff was friendly and helped us to order a good restaurant. We were surprised to receive the upgrade for the better room just because I have a card of this hotel. Wi FI was OK, just need to send registration all the time.
Visited here for a long weekend with my family. It's in a great location very near the Christmas markets. The hotel rooms were clean and a few nice touches left in the room of fruit and cake (that was in a suite). The staff were friendly and helpful and we would definitely stay there again.
Best location, wonderful staff, very very clean, outstanding breakfast. The rooms are spacious, cofee and tea making facilities very comfortable beds. The hotel was everything I wished for a great vacation in beautiful Wroclaw. I really hope to come again and stay here.
Best hotel in Wroclaw hands down. Has everything you would want in a hotel but service and location can't be beat. Staff is always friendly and make you feel like you're family. Stayed here numerous times and will recommend above all others in Wroclaw.
Me and my wife stayed here for the Christmas markets (which are great if you are thinking of visiting for them). Overall the hotel is very nice and located in a great area (only about 2 min walk to the centre). We were considering staying in the Doubletree or Radisson, but very glad we chose the Sofitel due to its location We did have a few negatives though: The room - We were in room 523 facing the atrium. There was a few issues with our room e.g. hole in the wall, chipped tiles in bathroom, sink would not drain properly but overall was nice. One annoying aspect was it was advertised as a king size bed, but was two singles pushed together which was uncomfortable as there was a ridge/gap in the middle of the bed. The room was also very warm despite being around -2c outside. Therefore we had the aircon on, but every morning we woke up with a very smokey/burning smell which was nauseating. We did mention this to the staff who said they would look into this, and when we got back to our room, there was no message etc..The next morning the smell was so bad it woke us up and we did both have bad headaches. There is a smoking floor in the hotel (floor 3) so could have been smoke drifting through the vents. We rang reception who came up and said they could not smell it which was surprising as we both could very strongly. We were then moved room across the hall. Despite being just 2 rooms away, this was a much nicer room (everything was working, had a larger TV, and it had a nespresso machine it, which our other room did not), and it did not have the smokey smell so maybe we just got a poor room. 2) Staff - from start to finish the staff were great. Very welcoming and going the extra mile. 3) Location - great location, only about 2 minute walk to the square with bars and restaurants. Overall if we came back to Wroclaw (likely for the xmas markets) we would stay here again and hopefully get a room that didnt have the above issues.
It is a great hotel to stay in downtown Wroclaw without any risks. You know you will receive the familiar standards known in hotels at this price range, no surprises. Great location, nice, new, clean and well designed room with street view. Staff is nice and attending all requests without problem.
This was my first visit to Wrocław. The event was held at the Sofitel-Old Town, minutes away from the Christmas market. The room was clean and well appointed with all the amenities to include a safe, Nespresso, tea kettle, robes and iron with board. The king size feather bed was so comfortable. I was greeted at checkin with Christmas cookies and delicious pumpkin juice. I forgot my toothbrush and one was sent to the room immediately. The event was catered for 200+. The food was delicious and creatively presented. While there I needed to go the drug store. The Concierge was helpful; giving me a map and directions to Rossmans. Breakfast, included in the rate, was delicious with cooked to order eggs. On checkout I met Emilia who was a perfect ambassador for the Sofitel. I plan on returning to Wrocław. The proximity to the Christmas market along with a great hotel staff make this my only choice on my next visit. Happy New Year to the employees at the Sofitel Old Town and thank you.
