Beautiful and comfortable
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Dragonfly! The place was designed well and the location was great for hiking the area. The stars were beautiful from the porch and the view was stunning. The full-sized fridge was a huge bonus

Bed Bugs
The location and place was beautiful! However I had bites on me and I didn’t think of anything cause like im in the woods yeah ima have bug bites. Luckily I had my annual Dr. Appt yesterday after my weekend trip and they said it was bed bug bites, I started looking all over my body and they’re everywhere. Now Im having to inspect and monitor my house cause I don’t know if some bed bugs stayed in the clothes and made it to my home! It has turned into a nightmare. In a location like that you would think checking for bed bugs is routine and part of the cleaning inspection.

Beautiful & quiet
The cabin was beautifully appointed, quiet, and relaxing. The drive up and parking are steep. It would be difficult to get to without 4 wheel drive. We brought our truck. There was no internet / cable. It does state it is limited on the listing though. We enjoyed the quiet and being unplugged for the weekend. The hot tub was clean as well as the entire cabin.

Pretty great except
The main problem was that there were several lightbulbs out making it very dark in the cabin. I reached out to the owners, and they responded quickly, but then never came to fix the problem. I really wanted to cozy up with my book, but after 7 it wasn't bright enough to read inside anymore. I would also not recommend staying here if you have an older vehicle or a manual. Getting up the hill was a bit of a struggle, and we constantly were worried we would meet someone else coming the opposite direction, and we had no idea what we would do if that happened, because it was a one way. The shower was a bit tight and the couch a bit uncomfy but everything was usable.Otherwise, the cabin was new and clean and fairly comfortable. The deck was the star for us. I would stay here again if there was light inside, and we brought a different vechicle.

Started great….
Trip started strong. Great directions, great ambience and fun flair for my kids who thought the loft was cool. Was a bit disappointed by all the dead bugs after it had just been cleaned but whatever, it’s the woods. Proximity to many great trails was ideal. The second night we got slammed with an insane storm. We were making every effort to be “off the grid” so the intensity of the storm did catch us a bit off guard. We lost power for a few hours which also resulted in loss of water and the ability to flush the toilet which was a surprise. The rain did not quit and while the cabin withstood the storm, the local roads were flooding really badly. We made a game time decision to evacuate out of fear we would lose our chance to get out safely. We notified RRGG who did promptly respond. Once safely out of town I did call VRBO to inquire about any kind of refund or even credit which we were denied. The property manager stated that the cabin was elevated and not at risk of flooding (that wasn’t our concern) and we could have canceled on account of the bad weather sooner. Having not been there before, we had no idea what to expect. I did reach back out to RRGG personally but no response. I’m trying to cut them some slack and assume they had a lot going on given the magnitude of the flooding (declared a statewide emergency).Bottom line: Hot tub and ambience good, customer service less so.

Hiking trip
Our family of four came to visit and hike. The cabin was a perfect home base. Good location for hiking and activities close by. I would recommend to get groceries prior to arrival as a grocery store is a little bit away. Be careful pulling in to the driveway as you may drag on vehicle, but if you pull in just right it is fine. Take a walk around the neighborhood circle and you’ll see Mammoth Arch, really pretty at sunset. Overall really nice stay, beds comfortable.

Great!
We had a great time staying at the Dragonfly! There were a couple things that were not issues for us but a heads up to the property owners. The light above the queen bed was out and did not work when turned on. Also, we did find two dead roaches on the floor but did not find anymore than that so there’s a good chance they came from outside. Other than that it was great!
