The villa was good, but the master bath fan ran continuously, and the air handler quit the last night. We reported the fan issue, but no repair was done. Staff were great. Shuttle up the hill was good to have.

Staff was amazing and the rooms were clean. The grounds were beautiful. Felt very safe. Although in our room the hand soap and body wash in the bathroom were empty. I would have expected them to be full. We had three guests in our room and we had to request bedding for the pull out. It should have been in the room.

Arrived Jan 4, returned on the 9th. Originally booked Margaritaville because it would have JB and Island style music through the resort , however, there was no music at any of the bars (hilltop or main), or restaurant area until we were leaving late morning on the 9th. When asking staff on day one why there was no music, we were told ot was because the system needed to be fixed and wirinf was eroded "dur to thr chemicals coming from th red tide seaweed". This would coincide with the special seaweed that was flooding the coast of the resort as well and disnt exaxtly make the water there bearable to swim which was also unfortunate as the resort photographs advertise as though this beachfront is somewhat private and able to be swam in. There were only two live mysic acts and a karaoke act on thr Six StringStage during our stay. --NOTE: Going to the restaraunt Sun and Sea, a walk from the resort, provided better food and plenty of music on thier speaker systema. Coki Beach, just past the resort, and Coral World, all had mysic and PA sound during this same time of year and all share the same waters. What saved this trip here is, the rooms are phenomenal. The staff were super friendly. The guests are mature and always having conversation. Location was key due to the ability to walk to another restaurant, Coki Beach, and Coral world. Breakfast is well done. No music while eating, drinking, swimming, conversing is unacceptable on resort.
Resort has three stray dogs they take care of.
Dragons are like tropical squirrels and are everywhere!

The staff was fantastic and the room was very good but it amazed me the in the common areas the lack of maintenance and I noted that the bars and restaurants had 10-12 TVs but only 1 was in working order. I enjoyed sitting at the beach bar enjoying a Bloody Mary while watching a football game on one of six that worked, crazy!!!!

The room was beautiful. The staff was helpful and friendly. There just wasn’t any adventures to be had. The meals were pretty expensive and the restaurant was the only show in town. The taxis were okay but again very expensive is $30 round trip per person. A cruise would have been better.

Beautiful. But not ocean view, partial didn't like walking on the road to the beach. Didn't like iguanas everywhere. Gift shop didn't have much to offer. restaurant overpriced.

All the staff was great I have an amazing experience here. I’ll definitely go back only problem I had is that no one is there to clean the room and a daily basis other than that it’s extremely gorgeous. I love it here and I’ll definitely come back to this wonderful environment cheers.

I had high expectations for Margaritaville. Upon checkin, I found out that it is a time share when I was immediately hit up for a meeting to discuss "joining the club". No big deal, I said no. I went to the pool and could not charge food or drinks to my room since the bar and restaurant are not affiliated with the property. Interesting, but okay. Day two, returned from the beach and the room was not cleaned. I called the front desk and was told that they do not clean the rooms unless you stay for at least 7 days. they told me they would clean the room once, but if I wanted it cleaned again, they would charge me $135. They did in fact clean the room, but forgot to replace the bedding for the pull out couch for the kids. I called at noon to let them know and when we returned from dinner later that day, they still hadn't brought the bedding. After a few additional calls, the last of which I was hung up on, I walked down to the front desk and was met with the manager, who was carrying the bedding up to me. There were quite a few staff members that were great, but quite a few who were just sitting around on their phones and not helpful or friendly at all. A few other things, we were at the pool, at 10am one day and they had already run out of towels, I went to watch a football game down at the bar on Sunday afternoon but the TVs did not work, the beach has no shore to even put a chair on. The water was also very disappointing, don't go here!

We had a great time at Margaritaville! Couple things you should know: The beach at the resort is unusable due to the seaweed problem. The food is inconsistent-overall good but seems to depend on who is cooking. A lot of guests complained but our overall experience with the food was good. Need cash to tip your resort cart drivers Our bed wasn’t very comfortable-suggest the resort adds mattress toppers to increase comfort
