Was what I expected.
Rooms were clean. Sewerage treatment plant dire fly across the street; horrible odor. Located on a steep hill which the taxi from the airport would not climb, which left us to hike with luggage. No amenities on the property. Hosts were less than engaging.
We loved the breakfast every morning which was prepared by the owner on their patio.
Convenient to Harbor to take ferry to St John
On the island, check out time is 11:00am, and check in time is 3:00pm. So, I left my previous hotel at 11:00, and had to wait hours before they would let me into the lobby. Hot and humid, I sat outside waiting for the staff to allow me in. They left others outside also then allowed us inside only when all rooms were ready. It would have been much nicer if they would have filled rooms as soon as they were ready instead of leaving us outside unnecessarily. Staff was generally nice and polite. No desk in the room. Hot water took 10 minutes to get to the shower, causing concern that I would not get a hot shower. Water is not suitable for drinking according to the hotel, and drinking water is expensive for their customers. No on-site dining and the nearest restaurant is 1 miles away and dangerous to walk. Taxi's are expensive for short trips into town but safer than walking the streets (no sidewalks!). Breakfast was good but don't expect any coffee service. Just sit and eat, then leave. Nobody will notice or care whether you liked what they served or whether you need anything more. You are invisible to them, and vis versa.
Place is a find. Helen so nice and attentive. Will definitely stay here again!
Loved the location in Redhook! Easy access to shops, restaurants, bars and the ferry service to other islands.
Spotless. Beautifully designed. Lovely flowers and grounds. One block walk to a nice restaurant by the sea, Sunset Grille. Comfortable bed, quiet and safe. Nice breakfast on the patio with panoramic view.
We loved our stay! Everything was clean and everything was recently updated. The owner of the B&B makes an amazing breakfast. She also is happy to give you tips about where to eat or what to do. The location was amazing also. We were close to Red Hook and Secret Harbour.
Does not sit on the water but has water views and It’s about a 10 minute walk to red hook area. Steep incline up the driveway and taxis will not go to the top of the hill.
Wonderful, clean rooms. Great breakfast, great view and location.
Very nice and friendly. Clean and close to harbor.
Just months after two major hurricanes and the place looks great. Well maintained and the staff was very attentive to detail. For breakfast, they served the best banana bread I’ve ever tasted. We’ll be back next year, for sure! Thank you for being VI Strong!
lovely small b and b renovated and operated by the owner couple, very sweet and accomidating. handy location and very nice breakfast prepared by Helen.
Owners are quite pleasant and helpful. Rooms very clean, no air in main area but not a big issue. Close to town and beach ( 5-7 minute walk). Breakfast simple but good, hard boiled eggs, yougurt, juice, coffee scones. Stayed in route to BVI . Would definitely return.
