This hotel is completely under construction, which is not in any information when you make the booking. The rooms barely fit a bed in them, and the place is an absolute dump. There is no parking, and the hotel is in the industrial part of the island on a very busy street. Managers refused to refund our money when we refused to stay there. Travelocity was no help either. They should be shut down.

Smal place, stay here only if this is your only option. The staff is nice, they are also building some new rooms. Rooms are ok, but really just ok. But then again very small, bed is so/so, just room, no breakfast. It is close to the airport, and to some markets. As I said in the beginning, only if you need some place to crash for one night.

Located in the “Hood” do not stay here! Should not even be listed on the Web! Made a huge error on Travelocity by booking a room here in conjunction with a Jet Blue Flight. $200 a night; Booked a “premium king room” online. Construction zone, noisy; no towel bars in bathroom. TP holder missing

No idea how many violations this place should incur. Anything you touch will fall or break - curtains, TV, the cable box that somehow hangs over the door will probably decaptitate someone one day (it’s rested on the door hinge - slam the door and see what happens). Now the juicy parts: the bed was made up when we first got inside. The sheets were used for sure - there were all types of hair inside so it’s likely that they were used by more than one set of guests. When we told Xiomara at the front desk, she said the maid changed the sheets. Maybe they were swapped from another room? Either way - nasty and disgusting behavior. The maid then changed the sheets in front of us. It seemed like she was doing us a favor. Remember if you choose to stay here - expect the sheets to have been slept in already and unwashed. The towel rack is falling out of the wall, the mirror is held up by faith. Either way, if you’re taller than 4’9, you’re not going to see much other than your belly button. The place is noisy. Now let me explain. I’m from NYC, I live next to 24/7 train tracks, ambulance, dirt bikes, etc. This was way worse! The bar next door brings many people, then construction starts at like 8am. You’ll be up by then - the local roosters will be sure to have you up with the sun. The neighborhood is shady to say the least... coming from a Bronx resident 👀 Overall - this is a nasty place we unfortunately had to take due to last minute change of plans. Stay away!!

My wife and I travel quite frequently and I must make a statement regarding the Starz Hotel and its surroundings! Where to begin? While in Miami waiting for our connecting flight to St. Thomas we were delayed several hours by severe thunderstorms! The result, we missed the last ferry to our destination of Tortola! We had to make a last minute reservation and the only available rooms were at the Starz Hotel. We needed three rooms as there were five of us. Three adults and two 14 year old daughters we were taking to be dropped off for three weeks of "Sea Camp". My wife and I got the smallest of the three rooms. The room we had was as close to a jail cell as I ever wish to come! The bathroom emitted an odor that could only have issued forth from the very bowels of Hell and the bed was so small and hard that it would have irritated a Trappist Monk! That is where the fun began! We decided (as it was too late to go out for dinner) to walk down to Domino's Pizza and get some take out! My daughter's friend's father had to walk point while the three women huddled together in the middle and I walked rear guard! As I am former US Army, it certainly brought back memories of walking patrols! There were constant leering stares and not just a few cat calls! The women were terrified! The bar (which shares the parking lot with the hotel) was about as seedy as it could get! In fact, it was so bad that the young girl working the front desk of the hotel kept the security door and the steel safety door locked at all times! There just never was a sense of security or well being at any juncture during our stay! Also, the hotel does not have an ice machine! If you want ice for a beverage, you have to walk over to the bar and purchase a cup of ice for $1! Finally, do not bother bringing an alarm clock or using the one provided with the room as the neighborhood rooster will most certainly have you awake by 4:30 am! The danged thing didn't stop crowing until well after 7:00 am! This was the island version of Green Acres! And do make note that the Caribbean Mortuary and Cremation Center is right next door (Not just for the BVI, but the entire Caribbean)! Not the sort of place anyone would seek as a destination unless on the lam from Law Enforcement! This was not a choice, but an unavoidable, last minute, knee-jerk of an attempt trying to find ANY housing to put our families up for the night! Needless to say our destination hotel on Tortola was substantially better and most certainly upscale by any comparison! To be honest, a blanket on the beach might have been better!

I stayed there service was great. went there with my fionce and the accomodations were just what we expected. Great staff the owner xiomara came to say hi to us. It was a very pleasant stay. We were right next to the road so there is a little road noise but it was great

Spending one night at this hotel during the Christmas time to catch an early flight It was a basic hotel with small rooms. Since it was aside the main road so it might be a little bit noisy. For the price paid, I am ok with it

We reserved and confirmed twice before coming three rooms. When we arrived we were told that they were overbooked and that we would have to find another hotel at a very much increased price. Very disappointed.
