Great location! The unit was in pristine condition when we arrived and David made sure we had detailed instructions on everything you need to know. He also followed up with us a couple times prior to arrival and was very responsive. The property itself is modern, the balcony is a great place to relax. It overlooks the marina which was quiet and the beach is just a short walk away. The coffee shop, beach bar and restaurant were very convenient and had good food. I was pleasantly surprised by the food at the restaurant. There is some construction going on around the grounds that appears to be some upgrades but there was never any noise. The most noise came from the wild chickens that inhabit the area. I would definitely recommend staying.

Rental Property was absolutely fantastic. Great Location. Sapphire Beach is one of the best places to stay. Lots of amenities and food options, very close to Red Hook area and ferry over to St. John. The unit we rented was very clean and modern (especially compared to other units we've seen). David, was very good at communication with us the whole time. Check in and Check out was very easy, and had no problems at all. 5 stars all around. side note, we got stuck for a couple of day because of the Venezuela incident, air was closed, hotels were closed, and David arranged for us to stay a little longer, which was far above what was expected and help make a bad situation into a fabulous one. Not too many people would do that, and we will definitely rent from him again in the future.

Wonderful condo on a great, laid back, private resort with a beautiful beach. Sapphire Dream condo is beautiful & updated and the marina view from the balcony is spectacular. I was very happy I picked this location for my vacation. David [VRBO Host] is amazing to communicate with and gives so many helpful pointers & tips. If you are thinking about going to St. Thomas, this is the place for you to stay!

My husband and I stayed here for our honeymoon and it was incredible. David was awesome from the get go, and provided us with a long list of things to do/places to see before we even got there. The check in process was super easy and the place was very clean! David also kept in great contact with us throughout our stay. The views were beautiful along with incredible beach access and restaurants. We would definitely stay here again! 10/10 experience!!

5 Stars – Beautiful Condo, Excellent Host, Great Location!We had a wonderful stay at David’s condo in St. Thomas in August 2025. From the moment we booked, David was incredibly responsive and helpful. He provided detailed information ahead of time and checked in during our stay to make sure everything was going well. The printed, laminated information sheet in the condo was also super helpful for navigating the area and amenities.The condo itself was exactly as pictured—beautiful, clean, and well-stocked. We really appreciated the thoughtful extras like towels, toiletries, beach chairs, floats, and a cooler. It made beach days so easy and enjoyable!The view of the marina from the condo is stunning, especially in the morning and at sunset. Unfortunately, during our stay (which fell in the peak season for sargassum), the seaweed was heavy at times, and the smell made it difficult to enjoy the deck. This wasn’t something within David’s control, but worth noting for future guests considering a summer visit.The condo is part of the Sapphire Beach Resort, and the resort amenities are just a short 3-5 minute walk away. We enjoyed the on-site bar and food options and found the staff—especially the friendly folks at the guard shack—warm and welcoming.We would absolutely stay here again, but next time we’d plan for the winter months when the sargassum isn't an issue. All in all, a fantastic property with a great host in a beautiful location!

Location location location is the key in staying at Sapphire Beach and Resort. Everything that you want to find is on the resort - coffee place, bar, really nice restaurant, taxi service; plus, it is close by to Red Hook where the ferry is located plus grocery store, restaurants and other shopping. The condo itself is really nice - the pictures are a honest depiction on how it looks. The balcony is relaxing - it has a great view of the marina and sunsets. For those "clean freaks" like me, the condo was extremely clean and tidy. David, the owner, was extremely, extremely, extremely responsive and provided great ideas on things to do and directions - he was like a personal tour guide. Highly recommended.

This property and the host (David) are truly exceptional. Its beautifully appointed, it has everything you need, and its organized and thoughtfully equipped. We really appreciated the little things that were of high quality, like YETI cups for beach/pool, a good size cooler, excellent cookware, top of the line wine glasses, Apple TV on 2 different flat screens the list goes on. The unit is exactly as the pictures show. Well appointed, tastefully modern, and the furniture is comfortable. The patio is really wonderful overlooking the harbor, and the comfortable outdoor cushions make for a great reading spot. The bathroom with dual sinks and tiled shower are great! Did I mention it is SPOTLESS! Seriously cleaned and organized. Very impressed with the cleanliness.The location is just a short 2-3 min stroll to the beach & pool, and the beach bar is just another 2 min walk. Sapphire beach is really beautiful and Lindquist is just down the street. The ride to Red Hook is only 3 min down the hill.However, the best feature is easily the communication and preparedness of the host David. He took personal interest and time to make sure our vacation was a success. His response time was fast and professional. He has lots of great recommendations for the area and vendors you can trust. We utilized several of his suggestions and it made our trip that much better and seamless. 5 Stars all around on this one. We will be happy to rent this property again!

First, David is one of the best hosts I’ve dealt with. He is passionate about his properties and gives detailed information about the area, so no need to research. The condo was neat and clean. Looks just like the photos. Beautiful location. A true paradise experience. The bed was comfy and the sheets were fresh smelling. We stayed for a weekend, because of a destination wedding. It was nice that we were in all within walking distance to each other. David also has a larger condo, and from the photos, it’s just as nicely updated.

Lovely island, treacherous mountain roads

The resort and our owner’s apartment was a genuine pleasure spot. The views are fabulous and we thoroughly enjoyed our vacation. The customer service at the resort restaurants was lacking so we chose to dine elsewhere. Perhaps because the cost of living is so high, I imagine many workers aren’t happy with their wages We felt the restaurant staffs were overwhelmed, over worked and probably underpaid. Nonetheless, the accommodations were a very good value outside of the cost of food at both grocery stores and restaurants. We had a wonderful time.

The condo unit itself was very nicely decorated, clean, and well equipped. However, the resort itself was very disappointing. Everything seemed to be in a state of disrepair, with poor maintenance and upkeep. Much of the property is in dire need of attention and repairs. The landscaping was not manicured like it should be in a resort. There were unsightly building materials everywhere. The pool is perfectly situated beside the ocean but is not well kept. The stone around it looks dirty, landscaping is in poor shape, and the pool bar was never open and appeared to have been vandalized. Also, the odor from the seaweed(sargassum) was at times unbearable but best case was tolerable. The parking lot is not even paved - it’s all gravel with big potholes everywhere. This stay was not worth half of what we paid for it.

The spot was beautiful and David was fantastic. The marina location was perfect and after a day in the sun, sitting on the deck in the shade with a great breeze was just what we needed. If you think you forgot something, you didn't. I can almost guarantee David has what you need waiting for you there!

Wonderful stay in STT

Our condo was awesome! Well stocked and great location! David answered any and all questions and had great suggestions. If you want to explore, definitely rent a jeep, we went all over. Magens Bay Beach, Brewers, Honeymoon on water island via ferry, rented a 20' dingy from gomojo right there on property..LOVED.. we were able to go to Trunk By, Mayo By, Cinnamon Bay, Hawksnest Bay, Honeymoon Beach, Francis Bay, Lovango Island (gorgeous), St. James, Little St. James (we rented 2 days)..took car ferry to St.John and hiked Ram head Trail then went to Cruz Bay. Food was excellent. Sea Salt there on resort, Raw, Tarpons Table, St. Thomas Social, Caribbean Fish Market..all had amazing seafood and service.Truly wonderful vacation!

AMAZING! We just returned from our stay in St Thomas and had the best time and loved this unit. First - the unit itself is beautiful and well decorated. It was also VERY clean which is super important to me. We loved being in this building and the corner unit and watching all the activity in the marina. Also, just a very quick walk to the amazing beach which we went to every day. We spent a majority of our time on the balcony when we were not on the beach.Secondly, David was a great host and supplied as much information as anyone could ask for. Every single time I asked any question, his response was quick and helpful. I have had many great VRBO experiences, but this was the best.Highly recommend a stay here!

Comfortable stay!

We stayed here for 3 nights before heading over to St. John. It was very clean and had a comfortable bed. We cooked all our meals and appreciated the well equipped kitchen. We spent most of the time on the patio relaxing on the soft outdoor furniture. Plenty of parking. We will definitely be back again!

Obsessed with Sapphire Dream!

We spent the last two weeks at Sapphire Dream and the condo was just as beautiful as it looks in the photos! David was an outstanding host and all the little conveniences he provides make the stay even better! From the snorkel gear to the beach chairs and even the dry bag - extremely useful to have and use while we were on the island. We loved the Sapphire Beach Resort & Marina and the view of the marina from the condo's deck was especially fun! LOVED the Beach Bar (don't miss the full moon party!) and the many other fun places for food and drinks in Red Hook! Sea Salt is one of the most beautiful restaurants we have ever been. We will definitely be back - can't recommend Sapphire Dream enough!

Sapphire Dream was a "DREAM"

This was our first trip to USVI. David's condo was a perfect 10, he literally thought of everything. First, the bed, bedding, and pillows did not disappoint. After a long day on the beach or in the water, we looked forward to returning to the quiet condo/deck/bed! The outdoor lounge area was hands down our favorite spot, taking in the ocean and marina views while enjoying the warm island breeze. The condo is tastefully decorated with all of the necessary kitchen essentials. Great coffee maker! The condo was also equipped with 2 beach chairs, 2 noodles, snorkel gear, 2 yetis, a cooler, can coozies... Lastly, Bldg. F is off the beaten path. People were jealous of our privacy & quiet location. To say David is an EXCELLENT host, is an understatement. Thank you, David, for all of your texts and tips on how to navigate St. Thomas & St. John. Greatly appreciated.

Beautiful Unit - Particularly the Balcony

The unit was beautiful. We loved the open floor plan of bedroom/kitchen/balcony. The balcony was particularly exceptional. Communicating with David was a breeze - he quickly responded with suggestions on navigating the islands, where to go, etc. The hidden gems for eating were the Buzz Coffee Shop and Sudi's 10 breakfast special! Our last morning for snorkeling was truly magical! We saw more fishies that morning right there in Sapphire Beach Bay than at any other location.
