Gorgeous view!!! Staff were amazing (special shout out to Marlyn who was so kind throughout our stay). The rooms are SO clean!! I wish the restaurant was open while we were there because we repeatedly heard from other locals that they have the best steak on the island!

Amazing guesthouse!

Despite the insane incline to drive up to the place, thin walls that me and my now fiance had an entertaining listen of a night of another couple, and challenge of finding out the secret method to having hot water (turn on the hot water on the sink first for a while before using the shower lol) the stay was legit incredible. I know it sounds crazy but I’d definitely stay there again. Staff were very friendly and you cannot beat the view of the island. The breakfast was really good and the rooms were comfortable. Check in and out was very easy. I’d definitely stay again.

Libby and the staff were beyond kind, caring, and giving. I was stuck on the island due to the hurricane and needed a place for my son and me to stay. With hundreds of others in the same situation, I randomly chose this hotel—and I feel so blessed that I did. From the moment we arrived, I felt truly cared for and understood, especially during such an anxious and uncertain time. What could have been a terrible experience was turned into a calm and reassuring one, thanks to their compassion. I only wish I had stayed here for my entire trip. I can never thank them enough.

This is a lovely looking property from the outside, with a clean pool and a wonderful outdoor seating area for breakfast and drinks. However, the room was in need of a pretty big refresh and did not match the pictures on this site at all. The pictures show bright decorations and linens, rugs, etc. Our room had nothing but the bed with basic linens, a dresser with a few basic trinkets, a very old kitchen with some broken cabinets, and a broken outdoor table on a balcony that had power lines running directly in front of it. It wasn't unlivable, but it definitely was a surprise based on what was shown during booking. The breakfast was small but delicious and the staff was kind. We wouldn't immediately book here again, but we wouldn't not stay if it was the best option available.

This property has a beautiful panoramic & breathtaking view of the ocean and St. Thomas Bay. It is close to downtown, and simply beautiful. The rooms are simply appointed and very clean. Libby is an excellent host, making guests feel like you're visiting their home. You'll be well taken care of at Island View Guesthouse. Delicious breakfasts also.

Rooms were clean and comfortable with a sleep number adjustable bed. Air conditioning, kitchenette with a microwave, and a refrigerator for some groceries and drinks rounded out a great room for our week’s stay. Beautiful views from open air restaurant that also overlooks the pool. Amazing hospitality and customer service from owners, Libby and Marshall and all of their staff! The Island View Steakhouse was fantastic and we were so happy to celebrate our anniversary there. Marshall the chef is fantastic! We enjoyed the slow braised lamb ragu and the wood fire whole roasted Branzino. Highly recommend!! We were fortunate enough that they just started up their lunch service. My wife enjoyed their Smoked Tomato “Caesar” salad while I loved their Filipino Lumpia Shanghai. Since I’m still going on about how great their food is, don’t sleep on their complementary breakfast during your stay. Great way to start your day in St Thomas. Hopefully you’re lucky enough to be there when they are serving their version of French toast. Again, so good! Honor bar with drinks and snacks round out this review which was both convenient and unique. Can’t say enough good things about our stay. The entire staff were helpful to point out places and give their own recommendations which we found useful. Hope we can visit again soon.
