This was a perfect spot to stay right in the city. The hotel is funky and comfortable, has a great little pool, and amazing views from the top deck. The staff was incredible! They were so friendly and accommodating, my sister and I would probably extend our stay next time.

Harry and his wife were superb hosts! My girlfriend and I absolutely loved our stay and the Galleon Hotel. We honestly can say that our stay at this hotel and our hosts made our time at St. Thomas the best stay ever. My only con is that there are a lot of stairs at this hotel. But the view, the greenery and our hosts made up for it all. We definitely be back Harry!

The pool was decent and th view of the harbor from the balcony in my room.

Staff was very helpful and friendly. The pool area was very refreshing. I highly recommend the Sugar Cane restaraunt accessible via the pool area. Close to Little Switzerland shopping area.

Located very centrally in town which is great. Views of the harbor were amazing. The free breakfast in the morning was simple, but VERY good.

Quietness! Beautiful view overlooking downtown Charlotte Amalie and waterfront in St Thomas....

Staff was friendly and knowledgeable but in the evening they weren’t around. Lots of stairs . Cute place. Breakfast is good. They don’t provide shampoo or conditioner but have sunblock and beach towels

The good: The staff was super-friendly, helpful, warm, inviting, and accommodating to us. The view from our room, the pool, and the sitting area/lobby were all spectacular. The pool. The breakfast. The ice and water in the lobby area. Pool towels. Free sunscreen. Did I mention the view from our room? The bad: The steps. OMG, the steps. If you have heavy luggage or a a lot of luggage, you many want to reconsider staying here. There are at least 50 outdoor steps and a few uncovered walkways just to get to the outdoor lobby from the street. Then, from the lobby, it's even more steps to get to most of the rooms. If I had known beforehand, I wouldn't have booked the place, lovely as it turned out to be. In addition, there was a hole cut in the tile near the bottom of our shower that had a plastic bag shoved in it. I guess that was to prevent water from getting in the hole, but how about covering it up instead of just stuffing something in it? And lastly, there were two piles of largish piles of iguana poop right by the pool that didn't get cleaned up for the 24 hours or so of our stay.

It’s so many stairs to get to the actual rooms but the look of it is really nice

The view and close proximity to main street was convenient. Having to go up a whole bunch of stairs with suitcase was not convenient. Everyday the power would go out at some point so room would be to hot to stay in.

We love the local flair of the property. Eating breakfast on the scenic patio is an amazing start to every morning spent on St. Thomas. The room was clean, but there was a black line around the edge of the sink that might have been mold/mildew. The A/C worked great and there was a convenient minifridge in our room. The staff was always helpful and the breakfast was always very tasty! We’ve stayed here twice and will be staying here again if we return to St. Thomas!

Loved location right next to shopping district. Also had a great view. The rooms were clean and cool.

It is an older property, perhaps a bit updating with painting rooms. The staff were wonderful. Gave us good info on beaches. traveling the Island Breakfast simple, and very good

If you are looking for the Hilton or Marriott, this is not for you. It's a B & B in every way. The cheaper the room, the lower the grade (you can hear everything in other rooms in this area), older furniture, squeeky doors, noisy air conditioners etc. Little to no view of the ocean. The more expensive rooms are much better with great views and better furniture. House keeper needs go do a little better job of 'cleaning and dusting'.

It was very peaceful and the view of the island was beautiful. We had a morning visitor each morning, an iguana, and breakfast was great.

Excellent veiws ..the breakfast was great fresh everyday
