Staff support was lacking. If you don't get to the front desk before 1 pm when it closes you will not be able to get issues addressed. Everything seemed just slightly broken and just wasn't up to par. Electronic room keys didn’t work, and when we did notify the front desk no one came to fix the issue during our stay. So we were limited to 1 hard key to unlock the door.

Ok first of all, there was no staff available to check in. There was no staff available on the phone either. The pool on the grounds was dirty and you couldnt see the bottom of it. The water in the hot tub was black. Plaster was falling from the ceiling in the bathroom shower and was on the floor of the shower. This property should not be listed as any place to go. We stayed one night and that was it. Had to find another place to stay for the week at great cost. I would like a refund. Do not send anyone there

Problems started happening on the 2nd night . First problem water was off for about three hours. Second problem the Airconditioner stopped working. But thank God for Ms Barbra who was able to work every thing out for us on this trip. She went out her way to make up for all that had taken place earlier. Cheers for employees like her. Expedia listing needs to be updated to reflect correct staff check in/out availability hours and also to reflect check in/out after hours procedure. This way customers know what to expect ahead of time. Was challenging to get anyone live on the phone. Kitchenette was well stocked (upside surprise) except for a kitchen sink plug. Good value for our needs

The only thing we enjoyed at the Flamboyan was the food we ordered and service in the bar. The place needs to be closed until it is brought back up to par! Apparently it’s under new management and undergoing some changes, but the place is dilapidated, DIRTY, old & in desperate need of updates and provisions, and just flat out was not what was advertised! The pool water was as murky as they come (didn’t even put a toe in there)! As an avid and often time traveler, I was very disappointed that I spent my 22nd wedding anniversary at this dump! Our trip to St. Thomas thankfully was scheduled for 6 nights, so we expeditiously (unfortunately had to stay 2 nights) got on up out of there. WE WILL NEVER EVER EVER RETURN!!!!

When we did have a person to talk to they were very accommodating and polite. Mrs.Barbara was extremely nice and attentive. Unfortunately, there was NO POOL or Hot Tub/Jacuzzi as stated in the over of the location. There were roaches in our room as well. No wifi on our first night. The view was spectacular. Overall disappointed with our stay. It can be a beautiful place to visit but the property needs a lot of help.

1. You couldn’t swim in pool it was green with algae. 2. Couch had cigarette burns, drapes had holes in them. 3. From time we checked in until check out no hotel employee was there. 4. Needs up keep badly. 5. No room cleaning or enough towels. Woman at check-in said there is no room service we are short staffed not much business. So we had to make do and reuse same towel every day for four nights and only one hand towel. Overall would never stay there again.

No staff when I got there, and just an envelope in a box. Glad mine was in there. My patio had huge spiderwebs with visible spiders on it. Pools were clear of debri, but greenish in color and not clear. Otherwise, rooms were nice and no issues other than those points.

Flamboyan is a funky local hotel with tons of local flavor. Very close to a beautiful beach, good food in reasonably priced on property restaurant, friendly local people, nice views, uncrowded pool. I enjoyed it alot.

No live person at check in. They gave us electronic key cards for a room that locks with a key. No way to lock room unless we stay in the room. Pool was cloudy and looked like full of algae. Room is very dated and any updates appear fine questionable. Big hole in ceiling. I slept in sand in my sheets. Very disappointed with stay.

The Resort was beautiful, the room was clean, and most of the staff were friendly. However, the service was sparse and less than satisfactory. It was explained that this was the off season, so that was to be expected. We could not find anyone at the front desk for fresh towels. While daily room cleaning was not expected, fresh towels midway through an extended stay should have been provided. I would also suggest that each room come with a broom so customers can do their own housekeeping. These were small issues, and we had a great time overall.

Barbara was amazing, she’s the best. Rooms were decent, not bad. I am not too picky but picky people would not like to stay here. View was amazing. The coffee shop on site served healthy food, shakes, and delicious coffee. Beach is 30 minutes away if your walking - wear bright clothes because you will be walking on the main road. No side walks to the beach.
