Overall the property was decent, except for some minor broken tile and paint on the windows.

The property had 2 places to eat on site. One of the places had a little deli where you could buy some staples. It was also close to the beach. It was a 4 minute drive. The views from the room were spectacular. The staff was friendly.

This property is a delight, and a good value for the price! It's got lots of charm, and it's clear that a great deal of effort is given toward the general upkeep of the place. Service was very good. We had an issue with the patio door not locking, and they sent someone to fix it right away. The front desk staff was friendly and helpful. We depended on them quite a bit, to arrange transportation. PROS: Spectacular views!!! Friendly Staff. Clean rooms and common areas. Great food at the restaurant and coffee house Grounds are beautifully landscaped 2 Pools and 1 hot tub currently operational Close to Magen's Beach. Good value for the cost. The CONS: This property is somewhat old, with renovations still in progress. I can't imagine what it's like to repair new hurricane damage over and over again, so I give them high marks for staying in the game. There were a few minor issues which prevented me from giving this property the highest rating, most of them cosmetic. Also, if you have mobility issues, this may not be the hotel for you, as there were quite a few steps leading to our room, and our room itself was split-level. Getting a taxi from the hotel was usually not a problem. But getting back at night was a challenge, as this resort is somewhat out of the way, and taxis are reluctant to come here because they most likely won't pick up a fare after dropping you off. Overall, I give Flamboyan an A-. I would definitely return.

Wonderful place with great view. Staff is extremely helpful. We arrived with way too much luggage and they immediately came to the can and whisked it away for us. They also provided great tips for enjoying the island.

Still needs work after the storm. Thankful that some of the facility was open to use.

Still rebuilding but great staff, stunning location, and the room was more than I was expecting.

I cannot rave enough about the restaurant Root 42. Although a little pricey considering the low key, casual ambiance of the restaurant and portions of food itself, we made it a point to eat every meal available on site at Flamboyan on the Bay resort instead of trying other St. Thomas recommendations. Hats off to the chef for the menu and deliciousness of food. The room was average. It seemed clean, was spacious and had a beautiful view of Magen's Bay. The property itself was poor. From uneven pavement and walking paths, to run down building structures and amenities, I recommend it not be called a resort until it can provide authentic resort like accommodations.

Enjoyed the hotel, would definitely go back. Clean and comfortable, felt like home. Friendly staff, made you feel welcome. Beautiful ocean view from the hote and my villa.

It was great. It was simple to check in and out. No issues.

The hotel suck took forever to even find out where it was located the room well i was very disappointed the bed was hard you could feel the mattress spring too many cats running around air conditioning leaking water will not recommended it to anyone.

Awesome location, was a bit hesitant at 1st as some reviews were misleading. Beautiful views and exceptional service from the staff. Pools were always clean and available at anytime. Only downside was that we only stayed 1 night, next time will definitely stay longer. Carla from FD is the best !!!

Was a little hard to find at first but I think that's partially Google Maps fault. Good value.
