This was one the most magnificent places ive ever visited the people , the proximity to everything..the views were absolutely stunning..the castle was historic and beautiful it was perfect we’ll definitely be back!!

Hotel is insecure, with room doors opening directly to open air, no need to pass through lobby or any hotel oversight. Someone woke us at 11:30pm, pounding on our door and calling for “Ed”. Who was it? Who knows! But it cost an hour of sleep. Hotel is dated. Staff are bureaucratic and unhelpful. Pool is not especially clean. Hotel room was rented for four guests but only had two towels. Driveway was rutted with potholes. Breakfast available only at 9am not earlier.

The good thing was the restaurant and internet. The poor: shower rail is shoddy and easily come out of the wall. I also got an email that said my contact information got hacked. I paid 700+ dollars for this. Check out is way too early, 10 am is crazy and they want to charge 75 dollars an hour after if you want to late stay. It is very easy to hear your neighbors as well. Heard an argument until 3 am. That is not the hotels fault though.
