The room was not clean and there is a serious bug problem. There were roaches in the room and we kept our bags closed fearing the insects would get into our luggage. In addition the hot water was not working and could not be repaired leaving us with no good option for a shower prior to a long day of flights. overall the hotel was in disrepair. I am seeking a refund.

I would not recommend this hotel. No way would I call it 3 stars. I did not feel it was in a very safe location at all. The door looked like it had been pried open a few times. it did not look anything like the pictures. The suite/room was very small although there was a refrig and stove as advertised and a TV with avery gross looking sofa. It has been somewhat remodeled and the bathroom was clean. There were some bugs though. I would definitely not stay there again. For about the same cost- I would choose the Best Western Carib Hotel which is much closer to the airport next time if you only need one or two night.

The hotel was as advertized, a two star hotel. It was just ok but Deb the lady at the front desk was great. She was very helpful.

We booked this room on our return trip from Tortola as we had to fly out of St. Thomas and didn't want to rush of taking the ferry and flight the same day. Deb, tr property manager was wonderful! She upgraded us to a room with a lovely view of downtown Charlotte Amalie. The apt was nicer than we images. Loads of space and a great full kitchen. As an added bonus the property offered a nice breakfast buffet. Perfect for us to grab and go as we headed out! Great property, fantastic view and management. We would assuradely stay there again for our next Virgin Island vacation.

This hotel is old and in need of a lot of updating. The room was small and stuffy and the bed was uncomfortable. The air conditioner worked but with a deafening noise and the TV was unable to show a clear picture. The bathroom shower was unable to produce more than 2 minutes of hot water due to its ancient design. Fortunately we only needed to stay for one night as we came in one day early for our timeshare. The best thing about this hotel was the view from the balcony which showed a nice vista of the Charlotte Amalie harbor. Definitely not worth $123 per night.

Personally we like the east end the best, but this location is right up the street from the airport. The staff is very friendly. Pool is very small. No room service or daily cleaning.

We spent a number of hours sitting on the balcony watching the cruise ships and sea planes come into the harbor. It was the perfect location with the most gorgeous view. We couldn't have asked for a more beautiful location. Deb, the manager, was the epitome of graciousness. She made our visit to St. Thomas even more special with her recommendations and directions.

If you looking for a good ,clean, quiet and safe and best of all ECONOMICAL - place to stay with no frills, this is the place for you. The location is fantastic but you NEED A CAR. We really enjoyed our time here. We wanted something economical and clean. This place is perfect for that. For the price we couldn't have asked for more. The staff was friendly. You must know that they don't clean your room out everyday. Its got a kitchen and a balcony (make sure you ask for the balcony.) Its just that -- a place to rest and feel safe. Don't expect entertainment or restaurants. The rooms are a bit outdated it but who cares when you are looking at the most beautiful beaches. I will stay again. I had the best time in St Thomas!!!

This is not in the tourist district but in a relative safe place on the island. Renting a car is recommended. Property manger Deb is AMAZING! Staff is friendly and extremely helpful. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Internet is sketchy in the apt. Excellent value and would recommend staying there for a "local" experience!! Relatively close to airport, dining, shopping and beach. Grocery is nearby as well. Pool is nice and there is a grill for use on property.

sorry to go off about a hotel when i know that good reviews will help with a bad economy but this is not a 2 star hotel....its a motel.the pics on this site gives a false representation of the true condition of the property.the clerk wasnt present and it was under construction that we deemed not safe.we lost money but stayed with members of our party that was at a resort which saved our vacation.

Million dollar view, Quiet, Great price and Very friendly staff

Radio and higher deck chairs

Convenient location, Economy Price, mid-price room quality. Only thing missing is a restaurant, but that is offset by a very nice & good restaurant within walking distance (get the Steak - it was PERFECT! ) I look forward to many future stays!
