very nice beach, relaxing. I would stay here again.

There's only 3 things to do here... go to the beach, go to the pool, or go to the restaurant/bar. There aren't really any amenities and there fitness area consists of 4 machines, which didn't really work very well.

AC was not working and hotel didnt seem to keen on fixing it. Restaurant food is terrible and VERY expensive. Waited 25 minutes for waiter to take order.. 15% gratuity already added or he would not have gotten a tip.

We stayed for a week. All staff were very friendly, and all rooms face the beach which is very nice. Due to the hotel location, transportation costs can be expensive. St Thomas taxis charge per person, and cost to go downtown is $6 per person and $8 per person to go further. Not bad for 1-2 people, but can be expensive or a family. We spent about $70 round trip one night to have dinner near downtown. Safaris are $1 - $2 per person, depending on distance, but do not run much in the evening, and have a specific route. We walked about 15 minutes from the hotel to get to a Safari (open air type of small bus) stop. Restaurants are very expensive everywhere, including at the hotel. When booking hotels, note that St Thomas hotels have significant taxes added to the room rate. For one week, our fees were around $800, making the room cost approach $400 per night, expensive for the quality. The ferries to other islands are reasonable, and we noted that clothing and souvenirs are on par with places like Mexico, possibly less expensive. In summary, the beaches and water are beautiful, but costs are much higher than comparable beautiful locations in Mexico.

Customer service here is Amazing, the whole staff is excellent from check in, on the beach with John and Tyler at the bar they really took care of us, can't wait to COME BACK!! The beach on the premises is So Covenient and Romantic!

When I read some of the reviews before I went to St. Thomas I was half-expecting a semi-disinterested staff, mediocre hotel. I was pleasantly surprised. I'm starting to realize that the people who complain about people not treating them right usually have their own issues. The hotel staff was excellent! One guy was even on his break and put down his food to help me and my friends find our room, and he refused a tip. We were kind to the staff and they were more than happy to oblige us. A word to travelers - when you are on THEIR soil, in THEIR hometown, treat them with respect and you won't have any problems. Our room was great. The view was awesome. We enjoyed the restaurant/bar area very much and stayed on the beach the whole time. I can't compare this with other hotels, but for the price, I would stay here again. Having the beach just a few steps from your door is worth a lot!

Our family had an awesome time. Great environment and the staff was friendly.

The room was nice and clean. The beach was right outside. The view from my deck was beautiful. Nice clean resort and friendly staff. Would stay here again.

Room was ok, We didn't spend much time in the room. The restaurant and bar was way over priced. The staff has the tip added to the bill so they didn't seem motivated to provide anything more that what they had too. Also for dinner they only show you a dinner menu which is way over priced and you have to ask for the basic sandwich menu. most people where not happy about the deception. Bar tenders didn't seem happy to be working.

Beautiful beach, great staff. We had fun. Would definitely stay there again. The only problem with our stay was the water was not hot, luke warm to cold.

Don't expect anymore that a nice location.......rooms were clean, but staff could care less if you were there!

Friendly staff, beautiful beach and snorkeling great beach bar! Love this place, can't wait to go back.

I was on a business trip and enjoyed staying. Excellent internet connection. My room had a very nice view.

Beautiful beach, perfect bay - but apart from a few bright spots (Mario, Amazon at reception, cool cat at the bar), service is generally inefficent and rude. From Tiffany at reception who is not helpful in any way and dismissive, to wait staff at the restaurant who are obviously overworked in low season, there are never any towels, you wait for everything, and when you get it, it's with a big dose of attitude. On the plus side rooms are big and comfortable and you can't beat proximity to the airport. Food is pretty good. The crowd is a good mix. Ok for a short stay provided you lower expectations and accept you are on island time. I was not impressed.

Nice location- need management - no tv remote, wrong info on check - in, front desk staff offen absent- uninterested. Food and service at restaurants and bar fantastic .

Romantic and satisfying. Close to everything. Good dinning. Good beach and pool.

Nice Stay at a new location. The hotel is next to the airport, yet, the flights in and out of St. Thomas were not enough to be a nuisance. The restaurant offered good tasty meals and the bar area was comfortable. Taxi Rides were easy. Charlotte Amalie is busy and vehicles are operated in left hand traffic. Some restaurants close early, but others are abundant. Shopping varies between overpriced and negotiable. I recommend the sea turtle trip. I also highly recommend a Emerald Beach wedding.

Emerald Beach is a great hotel right near the airport. The planes did not bother us as they only seem to fly during the day! The room and the grounds of the hotel were extremely clean and beautiful! The pool and the beach were terrific. The staff was very friendly and helpful! I gave a 4 rating because we couldn't get into our room , even when it was check-in time. We waited in the lobby for over an hour for our room to be ready, with only 2-3 hours sleep. Some small things in the room didn't work, such as the telephone, clock, and a light by the chair. They fixed the clock but they couldn't fix the dead phone. The staff personally came to get us a wake-up call for our early morning tour. The food in the restaurant was great but, even though they had brownie a la mode listed on it, the two times we tried to order it they didn't have it. They should take it off the menu. I would recommend this hotel to anyone as it was a terrific place!

This hotel is hidden behind the road right by a clear water sandy beach with no hidden rocks on the seashore or on the sea floor. There are plenty of beach amenities including kayaking, scuba diving or soaring in the air propelled by jet water from a jet ski. The staff is attentive, the bar and restaurant is good, the pool looks towards the ocean view, and the rooms are tastefully furnished, air conditioned, and clean and comfortable, each one with its own balcony overlooking the ocean and the sunset to the west. Dollar for dollar this is a great little hotel that's just right if you want to rest and get away from it all.

The location and having a room literally right on the water is pure bliss. Emerald Beach is one of the most gorgeous beaches of the island. Even at night you can see your toes in the clear blue waters. This is one of the best beaches We have visited and can't wait to return. My wife and I fell in love with the beach. I recommend the jet ski tour to have real feel of the island life and visit places only accessible by a boat. When your here do not be that tourist using a mobile phone rather than enjoying this gift from God for us to treasure.
