I loved staying at emerald beach resort, it is further away from most main tourist attractions and some taxi drivers may not take you too far, but would recommend renting a car if you're staying at this resort. Other than that, love the hotel, the rooms were great, employees are a little rude but don't let it bother you much. Will come back to this resort next year!

It’s a nice hotel. The beach and area around the hotel need cleaning. Foliage around the area needs dead stuff removed and raked. Employees were always sitting down and a housekeeper was laying on a bed watching tv when we walked by. Could be a great hotel with an extra care. Everyone seems unmotivated.

It's difficult for me to rate the property. Because I didn't have the opportunity to see it because of spirit. Airline connected flight was delayed. We were not able to get to the property the 1st day because spirit airline then the second because of the airline. I am hoping that the resort Emerald will be so gracious and give a full refund all of all monies and allow us to attend the property at later date at this point I can't really judge the property only to wait for their response.

Got stuck in STT a couple of nights when flights were cancelled due to Hurricane Erin. Staff were very courteous and accommodating, even as they were at work during a Cat 5 instead of at home with their families. Parts of the island flooded and were without power, but the Emerald Beach Resort had a generator and felt very safe. The restaurant and bar were delicious, and we even got a chance to walk the beach and play in the pool after the storm passed. Conveniently located near the airport was a plus for those in our party flying standby.

Staff was very nice and helpful, but food and drink service was beyond slow. 10 minute wait just for water and drinks, 30mins + for any food. We ate at the restaurant for 2 dinners and 1 breakfast and service was extremely slow and it was off season here in August 2025.Food was pretty expensive and drinks lacking alcohol. The place needs alot of fixing up. Pool tile is falling apart, doors in lobby dont work, you have to open on your own. All around needs maintenance everywhere.

Staff was friendly. My TV didn’t work the first night, but someone came and fixed it. We had the king suite with the ocean view, which was nice. They cleaned my room every day.

The property was on the beach front and made it very easy to go for a swim. If you stay here please get a rental. The taxis will charge you $17-$20 dollars one way and it's is not a very walk friendly area so you will need to get another taxi. Also, there is no laundry on the property so you will have to find a laundromat in the city to wash clothes. Several of the places in St Thomas do not take Amex and majority prefer cash.

The property was close to the airport and had a parking lot for our rental car. It was a quiet property, besides the air planes, which was good and bad. The pool is very nice and the beach is clean and beautiful. The rooms had good views but were very basic and there was a very old tiny fridge. The bathroom mirrors were awesome, but the shower had very, very low pressure, there was no water when we first checked in for our vacation. And besides the mirror and sink everything else was dated. The whole resort could use a bit of updating. But all in all we didnt spend a lot of time there, so it was fine for my family. The people were nice enough, but not overly friendly. The one resturant and "bar" is all outside and the bar was closed by 10. Not many activities on property to do. The cafe though had excellent coffe! And the gift shop was very reasonably priced. We would stay here again, but aim for a better room than the one we got this time.
