Great location and facilities. Lovely room with high quality bed. Service outstanding- genuine and warm. Approach to hotel via boat great fun. Spa excellent. Food plentiful but disappointing in quality compared to the very high price - try the beach bars and restaurants down the beach - Sunshine, Turtle etc.
I had such a great time during my stay here. The driver picked everyone up at the airport and gave a brief history of the islands on our way to the hotel. Do not leave without seeing Estellita. She was the server in the lobby and she is hilarious!!! I was staying in room 911 and she made such a funny joke, it pains me that I can’t remember all of it. All I remember is her saying “911 emergency”. Jermaine A. is such a wonderful guy! Very friendly and accommodating. He was able to assist in a magical surprise for me where Jahmoy P. put on a private ceremony. Both gentlemen were very professional and knowledgeable. The golf course on the property is a must! There are quite a few monkeys up there they are definitely not camera shy. I have travelled all over the world and make it a priority to check out the spas at the hotels that I visit. The spa here would be at the bottom of my list. Although the actual ambiance is nice and it’s a beautiful setting, the actual spa service isn’t up to par. Maybe consider more experienced masseurs, I’m not sure. I simply didn’t like the service. The beautiful young lady at the front desk was extremely accommodating, friendly, and knowledgeable. She was even able to have a drink brought over for me from the bar while I was getting a manicure. I MUST say that the manicurist was good. I don’t recall her name but I had a very nice time engaging in conversation with her and she did a wonderful job on my nails. *be warned that they actual nail polish they use isn’t that great and takes FOREVER to dry* The room was perfect! Very spacious, balcony led right out to the pool and beach area. The beach area has a volleyball net, I played volleyball with a very nice gentleman from the staff and a few other guests.
This place ticks ever box . Ultimate luxury incredible professionalism by all staff . The 2 members of staff who went above and beyond were Lorenzo and kish they were incredible. The food is to die for .The pools are beautiful and clean . The chamber maids aka ninjas as we never got disturbed by them but yet are room was always spotless (We are messy) .What I found really endearing is the politeness of the staff. Every single person greets you with a smile and a hello . From the moment you get on the speed boat to the time you leave you will feel like royalty.
Our family of four (including two teens) spent a very enjoyable Spring Break at the Four Seasons Nevis. Although our room was dated, we didn't spend a ton of time there and I'm hopeful that the upcoming renovations will modernize the sleeping areas. Outside of our room, the Great House, restaurants, Resort's beaches, and overall service were fantastic and made our vacation very relaxing and enjoyable.
My family spent 3 days on the island of Nevis at the Four Seasons Resort. The resort is situated on a very long stretch of beach and most of the resort’s rooms face the water and also due west which allowed us to enjoy the most beautiful sunsets every evening. All the rooms had a small balcony or outdoor space with lounge chairs and a table and chairs. The setting certainly takes advantage of the great beach and sunset views. The rooms themselves (more on this below) are nicely sized with large bathroom space and a small seating area which included a pull out sofa. Linens and toiletries were in keeping with Four Season’s high standards. Luckily, the resort and island were spared in the recent hurricanes of 2017. The beach has shallow water with virtually no waves, perfect for young kids. This hotel has a ton to offer when it comes to keeping kids entertained. Just 50 yards from shore was a large bouncy tube/trampoline were my 10 year old spent about 3 hours per day. The hotel supplies water toys, kayaks, paddle boards, snorkel gear and there was a boat for hire for excursions, tubing, fishing and additional snorkeling and jet skis for hire. There is certainly no lack of entertainment by the water, that is for sure. For those not traveling with kids, no worries as the property has a beautiful ADULT only infinity edge pool located right on the beach where serenity can be found! There is a large well equipped gym and spa. If you enjoy tennis, you will certainly not be disappointed as you will find many tennis courts (including clay, grass and asphalt) and to boot……the property also has an 18 hole golf course on site. I had the privilege of being one of the first to get a “sneak peek” preview of the new room upgrades coming very soon (completed by end of 2018). The new rooms are contemporary, bright, clean and extremely functional. These upgrades that are about to take place will bring the resort into the standard that matches the majestic location the property enjoys. I did also preview the Pinney Beach villas which are gorgeous 3 bedroom contemporary villas each with their own private pool and yard and located on the beach at the hotel. Please feel free to reach out to me if you have questions on room locations and types as i did tour all the roooms while i was visiting. And I should not forget to mention….I can’t say enough nice things about the people of Nevis, service here is always with a smile. They could not have been more accommodating or nicer.
We wondered many times during the stay if indeed it was a four seasons. We have stayed at many other four seasons resorts in the past and this hotel does not come close. The house we rented For a small fortune was beautiful but and that’s where it ended. Service at the resort is mediocre at all levels. Food is average at best. The main pool area , spa, water sports , kids club is all run down. There is a certain expectation that comes when you book a four seasons and this did not come close. Most of the staff was very nice but not the service you would expect. We rented a $500 beach cabana a few days and again service was not good. There are only 4 cabanas and 1-2 attendants and even that was not attentive service. The food choices were uninteresting. The island and property and beautiful. They need a major over haul of the outdated buildings and to retrain all staff. Sadly we will not be returning.
We stayed 9 nights at the end of March, 2018 as a family of four with children aged 7 and 12. There are direct flights from NYC, MIA and some other cities on most days. Transfer to the Hotel form the airport is not cheap but effective. Weather has been good with occasional clouding and drop of rain. Nevis has a warm and back to basics local culture which we quite liked. Definitely try the bars a little walk away on the beach just outside the Hotel. If you can get a good price, which fluctuates a lot, it might still worth staying at this Hotel. Otherwise the indifference and attitude might get to you if you keep your hopes too high. Our hopes were high as frequent Four Seasons guests having stayed in properties form Maldives and Istanbul to Orlando, as Vegas and Vail. Pay the extra and get an oceanside ground floor room in the 300s for the best views and easy access to pool and beach area. Ask for a mosquito screen door and daily spraying of your room during turn down otherwise your children will get bitten multiple times every day. This was our first time in Nevis and this Hotel and I wish the check in agent was also keen on warning us about these issues rather than trying to sell us experiences such as Beach Cabanas or Catamaran Sail. Also avoid room 527. We were told there were no other ocean side rooms available. The two nights we stayed in this room until a really nice room (315) became available was horrible. You can't open your door to the balcony due to noise from restaurant AC unit and mosquitos, and despite killing at least 5 to 10 on a daily basis before going to bed, we did not get much sleep. You would expect Four Seasons to be caring a little bit more about your comfort. There are two other main issues with the hotel, apart from the general level of indifference displayed by all staff members. Restaurants and Watersports Centre. Food is mostly good but there are only two full time restaurants, Neve and Coral with short and static menus and you have to book in advance. Watersports Centre is full of dilapidated equipment and inattentive staff making it really hard to do much sports. We wanted to do windsurfing and diving but the disorganized staff and lack of equipment and then an ear infection at the end of Holiday made it impossible. Tennis is good, we had a very good coach for the girls during the stay and it is not cheap. We did a hike in the Jungle and also attended the Nevis Kite Festival and rented bikes, all recommended.
Four Seasons Nevis delivered on a truly memorable spring break. The service is top notch. Arrival from the airport was seamless, helpful and friendly. It was a nice touch to be welcomed by staff on the dock and to skip the "check-in process." We stayed in a beautiful villa complete with pool and golf cart. I highly recommend ordering provisions if staying in a villa. Housekeeping serviced the villa twice daily, and it was so nice to be able to indicate the desired time for this. They were exceptional. We truly enjoyed our time on the beach near the reflection pool. Beach staff was the kindest I've encountered on any vacation. They offered much appreciated flavored water and little snacks that helped make us feel special. Snorkeling was better than expected, and we were glad to have taken the tour offered by staff on our first day. We dined at Mango, Coral Grill and Neve. Mango offered flavorful dishes with a beautiful setting right on the beach. Coral Grill was also excellent with great servers. This is one of the most beautiful resorts with the best service that we have experienced in the Caribbean. We look forward to returning without hesitation!
The staff really set this place apart. They are so wonderful and kind. It was very relaxing, not over crowded and never rushed. We really rested and enjoyed the kind attention to whatever we needed. The room was very spacious and well designed. Plenty of storage and the bed was very comfortable. The pool areas available include an adult only pool that is designed for relaxing. No loud talking, music or smoking allowed. Just peaceful time and calm atmosphere. You can request food and drinks from the staff that are literally everywhere and continually ask you if you need anything. And they are always nice and super friendly.
Great staff. Gorgeous resort. Activities and meals are excellent. Particularly enjoyed the pools, tennis and golf. Looking forward to a fourth visit. Should something come up...advise the staff they will work hard to find a solution. Looking forward to the renovations and a refresh!
