Not a good value for the price. Air conditioner did not work 2-3 days out of seven. Would not go back. There is not enough to do there. Restaurants were pretty good. Really enjoyed the Golden Rock and Turtle Time.
We visited for a family holiday. There are some very good features; the rooms are very high quality, as are the sports facilities. Grounds are very well manicured. Staff are generally very good and highly trained. However, the hotel is very focused on the US conference market and restaurants were sometimes closed for conference activities. The conference guests, fuelled by expense account alcohol, could also be noisy in the pools. The downside of highly trained is that it can all become formulaic - at other luxury hotels we might expect a manager's cocktail party or themed evenings or barbecues - there was nothing like that - unless you were at a conference. What that meant was that you ended up going out of the hotel for dinner almost every night - some variety would keep guests in the hotel. There was a good deal of trying to increase revenue. Our tour of the hotel grounds turned into an attempt to sell us villas. The tennis courts were little used - because the charge for using them was $55 per hour. In a luxury hotel you would normally expect to be able to use them for free or a nominal charge. The golf course looks great - but only billionaires could afford to play on it. Consequently it was almost always completely empty. Concierge services were not hugely efficient - you had to ask at least twice to get anything confirmed. The hotel is certainly the most luxurious option in Nevis but it is expensive.
I recently spent an incredibly relaxing and fun-filled week in Nevis and St. Kitts. The Four Seasons Resort in Nevis is the single greatest vacation destination in the Caribbean. If you have tried other locations, ditch them now. The real deal is in Nevis.
I was at the Four Seasons for a corporate event and everyone was raving about the resort. The staff was friendly, the rooms and facilities were impeccable and no detail was missed throughout the event.
Amazing staff inside and out. Enjoyed a ten night stay. All pleasant and relaxing memories. biked one day and also climbed the Peak! (not so relaxing, but worth it!) breakfast was delightful every morning and did beautiful "Mango" twice for dinner.
Stellar location and amazing service. First class food AND a number of activities make this place truly stellar. The resort's stuff really makes the difference. Definitely recommended. Great experience.
Very relaxing and picturesque resort where no need went unsatisfied. Pools and their proximity to the Ocean were ideal. Never lacking in Customer Service. The view of the lush green Volcano perpetually enveloped in a halo of water vapor was spectacular.
Stayed here with my family of four at the end of May for a week. And although this is far from the nicest Four Seasons Properties at which I've stayed, it is Four Seasons nonetheless meaning top notch customer service attempting at all times to anticipate your expectations. The transfer from the airport to the hotel was seamless. And the boat ride was quite quick. Check-I was quick,as well. Phaedra was our personal coordinator during our stay and she was #thebombdotcom. Pleasant, energetic, professional. Patient, outgoing.....just awesome. We booked a plantation suite. The room was nice, but not typical Four Seasons nice as it is quite worn and in need of updating. Apparently we were a year early as this is in the works. :-( The bed was comfy an the air worked well. The foldout sofa for our 17 year old was horrible as most are, but after a squishy duvet was put on, it was better. The beach was almost always quiet and on the days whe there wasn't a great deal of rain washing silt in to the ocean, the snorkeling just off the beach in the barrier rocks with some new coral formations was really really nice. Not excellent, but for just a swim off the beach, there was abundant and colorful sea life. Uroy, our most frequent beach attendant deserves commendationas he is quite awesome. If you are willing to wake early and walk quietly around the property (and I mean walk around...like I probably walked 5 mikes one morning), you will see monkeys and monkeys and monkey and more monkeys!!, quite fun. The food was quite good, but oftentimes not phenomenally good as you'd expect at Four Seasons especially at lunch. Mangoes was our favorite. The lobster, as it's fresh from the ocean was out of this world. Dodd was reallly expensive, but as this is an island and everything has to be shipped in, it is to be expected. Overall, the Four Seasons Nevis is really a five star Trip Advisor property.....once the updates are completed. For now, it's more like a 4 1/4 or 4 1/2
We enjoyed our trip with much time alone. There were several big groups at the hotel but they did not lessen our experience. The ferry transfer was great, the greet and move to the room was seemless and the small issues we had the staff responded very quickly.
My husband and I spent 4 of a ten day St. Kitts/Nevis trip at the Four Seasons celebrating our 26th wedding anniversary. The service, staff, restaurants and entire visit was outstanding. After a day of travelling, the hotel water taxi service was the perfect way to begin our visit. Estellita, one of the staff members was absolutely lovely and made us delicious drinks both on the beach and in the Library bar. She is a real gem. The entire stay was amazing from start to finish, we never left the property during our four days. We spent the remainder of our 10 day visit in St. Kitts joining family for a large reunion which was fantastic. I'm so pleased we chose to celebrate and kick off our vacation at the Four Seasons. It met all of our expectations. We met another guest named Paul on the water taxi ride to the hotel. I believe he has a friend who is a part of the hotel management team. He spoke so highly of the hotel, gave us great tips and was just an incredible Four Seasons Ambassador. Great guy!
