Gothic revival home built circa 1867 by the Reverend Cornelius VanDeventer. Peaceful place to wake up, have coffee on the outer brick patio, and do some bird watching.
Home is located in historic Museum Hill Area. Centrally located to downtown attractions. The Missouri Theater, restaurants, antique shops, and museums. We really enjoyed our stay. The house is very well taken care of, the beds were comfortable. The bedroom upstairs was perfect and the antiques were well chosen. I would definitely stay here again.

Awesome property
We really enjoyed our stay at this property. My elderly mom was with us and we had a wonderful time and enjoyed looking at all the antiques and the detail in this home. Anything you could ever need is provided for you and everything is so neat and clean. My mom didn’t want to leave. It was close to everything we did in Saint Joseph.

Beautiful home in St. Joseph
Our family really enjoyed the stay! The house is extremely well kept, the bathrooms are clean, the kitchen was excellent, and the beds were comfortable. Host is very easy to communicate with. The house is very secure and there is a good alarm system--not their fault, but house is not situated in the best part of town.

Great little house
We were visiting St. Joe for a week and the house was the right size for everything we needed. The interior was nicely furnished and had a few extras, such as laundry detergent, coffee, etc. The location is closer to downtown, but nothing is too far in St. Joe. The owner has control of the heating and cooling, but was very responsive when we asked for it to be adjusted.
