The place was literally a perfect getaway for our girls trip. It was so nice, everybody had their own private areas, and also a nice sitting area for the group to get together. Both kitchens were equipped with everything you needed, appliances were up-to-date. The place was pristine clean. We love the privacy of the area, and the pool was perfect after a long day at the beach. The outside entertainment had everything that you needed, two decks with comfortable deck, furniture, a great grill.I have stayed at many places and the owners have thought of everything. There were plenty of chairs that were brand new. It was nice to have a washing machine and dryer on the site to wash a few items of clothing.I can't say enough nice things about this place. I plan on coming here with my family for a week. I highly recommend this place for a larger group. It was the perfect stay for us.

We stayed for a week with two teenage kids. They lived downstairs and had their own bedrooms. bathroom, kitchen and living room areas. We cooked meals most nights and the kitchen had everything we needed to do so comfortably. The decks were great for coffee with the birds and lizards in the mornings. The pool was fabulous for cooling off at night. Everything was clean, safe and very comfortable.

Everything was wonderful. I really appreciated how easy it was to access and for the help that we had if we needed any. This host has someone on St John that is available to help when needed and even helped us find the place the first time and walked us through the house sharing all the ins and outs. Great location with very little noise from neighbors. We loved it!

Besides being immaculately clean and private, what really stood out to me was the attention to detail in matters of convenience and comfort. For example: Two washers and dryers- an entire day isn’t wasted doing the whole family’s laundry. A few snacks and beverages in the fridge from the deli after a long day of traveling to the island- saving you from being hangry while getting settled in before you can make it to the market or a restaurant. Outlets in the nightstands that are easily accessible, toiletries, spices available for meals cooked at ‘home’. Plenty of towels and extra linens. I could keep going! It’s the little things that make big differences.Though we didn’t need any additional assistance while we were there, we communicated with JP to get checked in, who was polite and quick to respond. The price was very reasonable for the accommodations. Everyone in our party was pleasantly surprised to see how far our dollar went with this trip. We’ve been coming to St. John 1-2x a year for about 9 years. This has been one of our favorite and most relaxing stays so far.

Everything was wonderful, except the driveway. It was a bit of a shock and it was difficult to get out of the driveway on a daily basis and it grew increasingly so as the days went on. That being said, the hosts were wonderful and the house was well stocked. The views are beautiful and the drive there is very scenic. It’s a bit off the beaten path, but if you like privacy, this is a good place. Cruz is only about 12 minutes away, so it’s not that far if you like going into town on a regular basis or if you have to make a trip for groceries.Having two washers and dryers made packing and going home with clean clothes a breeze. There is more than enough supplies at the house to get you through whether it be towels, kitchen, stuff, bedding, etc. It’s a wonderful walk down to the pool and the local wildlife likes to come and visit as well. The beds were comfortable, the house stayed cool, and the fact that the house has a generator made me feel more comfortable in case of power outage. Be sure to ask about the private beaches that are available. JP was wonderful at explaining all of the options we had when we got there, even though it was later than anybody had anticipated. We brought our kids and my mother with us, but having a second floor with a whole separate living situation was a bonus. They had a place to themselves that they could go and hide if they needed to. Separate kitchen was also nice so they could get up and make breakfast in the morning and not wake anybody up.

Comfortable property

This is a well appointed property with comfortable space both inside and outside. After we got our car JP met us at the grocery store and then lead us to the house and explained everything. Very helpful. The hosts had left prepared food for us, which was lovely.A few things:The second bedroom on the bottom floor is through a bedroom. There's no direct access to the bathroom or living area.The property borders the National Park, but there's no access into the park, no trails near the house. The driveway is scary steep (as are many driveways on St. T).

Cozy Gem in the Hills

We stayed for 8 days here with 6 people. Plenty of space to spread out and not feel cramped. Nice pool area. Big patio for grilling and enjoying the day. Not too far out of Cruz Bay or beaches. Great location!

Perfect

Villa De Paz was the perfect place for our family vacation. The villa is 2 separate villas sharing a common pool rented as one unit. This worked out great! My son and his wife had one unit and my wife and my other son shared the other. Everyone had privacy and we were still all together. Everything in the villa was outstanding and well equipped. JP was a wealth of knowledge and always answered any questions we had about places to see and how to get there. I hope we can go back regularly and stay at Villa De Paz. Outstanding in every regard.

Great place, beautiful house

The house was beautiful (my daughter said it should be on Pinterest), was in a quiet location and had plenty of room for our family (4 total). The house has a nice pool, good furnishings and they went with a really cool idea with the try and replace bar. The driveway is steep (needed 4WD to get out) but is standard for the island and JP was fantastic as he answered all of our questions and directed us to a some nice beaches. Will definitely look at this rental next time we come back!
