Host was really communicative and made checkin really easy. They guided us from the car ferry to the property as it is on a steep incline. I'd say a 4WD/AWD car is pretty required to stay here, but it was no issue. The view and porch was beautiful. The porch was actually bigger than expected. Kitchen stocked, everything working well and in good condition. Great stay and would definitely stay again!

The Happy Place was wonderful. It was clean, well stocked, and had a beautiful view. Although it is up in the hills, getting there was not difficult after we were shown the way. We were met at Cruze Bay upon arrival. One evening there was a road closure at the road on our familiar route. We called Dennis and he navigated us home. The bed was comfortable, and the TV worked well. We watched a Kansas University basketball game and the winter olympics. Hopefully we can return someday.

The host was very welcoming. He met us at our jeep rental facility and we followed him to Happy Place. He showed us around and explained how everything worked and where it was. The amenities are excellent and we had everything we needed. But the most amazing aspect of being at Happy Place is the view! It is breathtaking. Well worth the harrowing drive to it. You definitely need a vehicle if you choose this amazing place to stay. I would 100% stay there again.

Wonderful Week Away

We enjoyed being so close to Cruz Bay and the villa had everything we needed and the bed was very comfy. Would love to stay here again next time we visit!

We Love Happy Place

We had such an excellent stay. It was perfect for us. The views were even more magnificent in real life. The unit was well appointed with quality appliances and cookware, towels, etc. Henry and Dennis were terrific answering any questions we had.

Amazing getaway

My husband and I stayed at Happy Place to celebrate our 10th wedding anniversary. What a wonderful villa for two people! Dennis was very helpful with getting us to our jeep and to show us around the villa. Thank you for sharing your property with us, we will never forget the memories!

Happy Place

This was our 2nd trip to STJ but our 1st time staying in Cruz Bay. Happy Place is located in a perfect location, easy access to the all that Cruz Bay offers as well as being removed from the noise and " traffic". The bed was comfortable and the unit had everything we needed. Henry, the property manager, met us at our Jeep rental location so that we could follow him to the property. Overall a great place to stay!

Stayed at Happy Place for our 20th anniversary. It's location is great, the views are beautiful and the villa is nicely updated. We thoroughly enjoyed our week there and would recommend it to anyone who wanted a one bedroom villa.

We had the most perfect VRBO experience ever !

Happy Place was just Gorgeous! In the perfect location for breakfast , lunch and wonderful dinners ! We explored different spectacular beaches everyday ! The views from our private deck were breathtaking! From our morning Sunrise Coffee to glimpses of an incredible sunset

Ideal couples getaway on the outskirts of Cruz Bay.

Happy Place is wonderful! This is our second time staying here. It is a lovely, new, well-maintained one bedroom apartment with scenic views overlooking Great Cruise Bay and Chocolate Hole. With a full kitchen, washer and dryer, beach towels and chairs it has everything you need for a great vacation.
