Just a short 3-minute walk to hiking trails, beaches, National Park, and Cruz Bay Town's restaurants and shopping. The walk back is uphill but not unbearable. Snorkel gear for 2, beach chairs, & coolers included. Ideal for two guests, we do allow three with a rollaway twin bed provided. Our lower level unit offers a variety of amenities that will surely make your island stay enjoyable. A smart TV is provided for your entertainment needs, so you can unwind in the AC and catch up on your favorite shows or movies after a long day of exploring. For those who enjoy cooking or simply prefer to prepare their own meals, our suite offers a full kitchen. Equipped with all the necessary appliances and utensils, you can indulge in home-cooked meals and savor the flavors of your choice. Moreover, there's no need to worry about missing out on the stunning surroundings, as you'll have access to our charming garden, where you can enjoy sunset views and relax in our gazebo under the stars. While this unit does not boast a huge water view, it compensates with its spaciousness. Cruz bay paradise ❤️
The apartment was clean and location is walkable to Cruz bay. The neighborhood is beautiful and peacocks visit. We had some concern of shower water temp and this unit is brand new so a few tweaks but the owners are so accommodating they actually came and fixed the plumbing issue immediately. They aim to please. The bed is comfortable and brand new and apartment was everything we needed. Ac in bedroom was all we needed but owners have ordered another ac unit for living room though the fans were enough. The Garden area was nice and peaceful and area for dinner on Deck with views of Cruz bay. Decor was pretty. Has backpack and chairs to go. At night you can hear music from local restaurants but inside it was quiet and cozy. Loved our stay ❤️ St. John
Unfortunately, we did not find the listing to accurately describe the property. The listing mentioned “AC” several times, but failed to mention that there is just one AC unit in the bedroom, not the rest of the apartment, leaving the rest of the apartment too hot to enjoy. Although close to downtown Cruz Bay, the listing also did not accurately describe the *extremely* steep hills on either side of the apartment. “Within walking distance” is more like a sweaty, hilly workout. Downtown does not have much parking for rental vehicles, leaving us the options of paying $14 one way for a taxi from the house to Cruz Bay, or trekking up and down the steep hills in miserable heat. These inaccuracies, combined with a super firm bed, forced us to leave our stay two nights early because it was too uncomfortable of an experience to stay. To the property’s credit, it was very clean, well decorated, had a cute courtyard, and has several amenities contributing to convenience (snorkel gear, shampoo/conditioner, kitchen). I just think the listing could better reflect the actual experience at the Moon Suite.
