We had a fantastic stay for our three generation, Grenada homecoming! The house was perfect with so many different outdoor spaces to enjoy with incredible views. Even with 10 guests in the house, we didn't feel like we were on top of one another at all. Rick was also a wonderful host who made sure we had everything we needed from a rental van, to a chef and groceries, and excursions. He was very responsive. Neighborhood was beautiful, quiet, and safe. We loved it!

We stayed at Villa Beachcliff for 9-days and had an absolutely incredible time. We booked the villa earlier in the year looking for a “no holds barred” kind of vacation with mom as she was recently diagnosed with early-stage Alzheimer’s so want to do as many amazing things with her while we can. The villa and Rick helped us meet that goal and more. There were 9 of us total, 5 adults and 4 kids, ranging in age from 16 to 7. The villa was perfect for us. As noted in other reviews, there was plenty of space for everyone to spread out, especially the older teenagers who unexpectedly even got their own room. The younger kids could also run around on their own without us having to worry about them…same deal for mom with her cognitive issues. We loved everything about the villa. There were so many different places to sit and enjoy different spectacular views. It was neat to have the Atlantic on one side and Caribbean on the others. There was always a great breeze coming off the Atlantic side to keep things cool. Our favorite thing to do while we were in Grenada was watching the evening sunsets from the upper deck balcony. Whatever we were doing during the day, we always made sure to get back each evening for the sunset. Simply amazing. We always felt safe there, as was the case in all of Grenada. The villa is located near the end of a street so traffic was minimal. We walked to dinner down the street a few evenings without issue. It was an easy 10 minute shot to

The property is LOVELY and in an EXCELLENT location. The owner/property manager, Rick, is very responsive which is great because we had several issues arise.When we checked in (per the check-in time), the house keepers where finishing up the kitchen We had gone grocery shopping so we worked around them, but felt bad since they were trying to finish up.We live on our boat all year so having a washer and dryer available is a BIG DEAL. And given the rental rate, you would expect to have a working washer/dryer. We were told upon check-in it wasn't working. Rick had someone come out 3 days later and completely dismantle the washer and repair it.In the meantime, the housekeepers came for their mid-week cleaning and we saw they had a washer/dryer in their storage room. We asked if we could use that one in the meantime and never got a direct answer. We used it once the housekeepers were done. That evening were told the closet was going to be locked-we had laundry in the dryer so we asked if it could please remain unlocked. Against his will he left it unlocked. We brought our own laundry detergent.A kitchen light bulb was burned out (along with others) so we tried to replace it and it popped the breaker which wouldn't reset so we cooked in the dark. The next day Rick came and completely rewired them to get them to work.We NEVER had hot water-told him about this multiple times and he tried to fix it.Overall great time!! But, the house needs some maintenance.

The property was lovely. Rick was available when we had a few issues - one being the power went out. It was the entire street and it was fixed quickly. Rick kept us posted. Our grandchildren loved the two pools. The outside patios had beautiful views that we all enjoyed. We highly recommend Villa Beachcliff.

Family trip

House was very nice and in a great location. Sunrise over the Atlantic in the morning and sunset over the Caribbean in the evening. Both can be viewed from the lookout. Perfect size for the 8 of us.Rick was very good with all communications. The only issue we had was the hot water did not last long enough for the entire shower. Rick had it worked on a few different times while we were there. Thank you for letting us share your home for our family vacation!

The house was amazing, with beautiful bedrooms each with a private bath, plenty of communal space inside and out, two lovely pools, and easy access to the rocky beach. Wonderful week at Villa Beachcliff

Our extended family of 8 enjoyed a wonderful week at Villa Beachcliff. We range in age from 13 to 80 and there was something for everyone. The two pools, private beach and lots of places to curl up with a book, beautiful views and ocean breezes. The villa is located in a wonderful area of Grenada where we could walk/jog and always felt safe. Rick and Karen are great hosts and communication was wonderful. They gave us some great recommendations including lunch at the University Club which is right down the road, the BBC beach which is a truly beautiful spot with lots of shade as well as sun. Breakfast at the West Indies brewery, cocktails at the Umbrella Beach bar. We took an excursion to the 7 sisters waterfalls and hiked down and jumped in the falls which our teenage daughters loved. The list goes on.... Thank you Rick and Karen for having us! We'd love to come back someday!

First Grenada trip…in Sept 2024

We traveled to Grenada to celebrate 31st wedding anniversary. My wife and I are usually accompanied by our sister and “aunt” for these trips to the Caribbean. We usually stay at a resort; this was our first time staying at a VRBO. There were pros and cons. The pros-Rick is an excellent host! He arranged a chef for a dip Ed our first joght-food was superb. He helped arrange excursions that were awesome and not offered through Viator. We was responsive when we found ourselves locked out of the unit. The villa is beautiful and in a great location. He arranged a car rental which came in quite handy which was brought to the Villa and picked up as welll which was quite convenient. He arranged out transfer to and from the airport. You could t ask more from a host! The cons-the group’s biggest gripe, not mine but I was the only male, was air conditioning. There is no central air and the individual units in the rooms did not always work well. You won’t have piping hot showers. That was less of an issue. The biggest complaint was the AC and for that reason I can’t say the group would return. I still would highly recommend staying at the Villa as I feel the pros outweighs the cons.

This house is beautiful and is as advertised! Rick was a wonderful host. He met us at the house for check in and showed us around the property. Grenada Paradise

The villa is in a stunning location - the view cannot be beat. Atlantic Ocean morning sunrises, Caribbean Sea evening sunsets. Walk down access to the sea is rustic but idyllic, we searched for shells, floated on the provided paddle boards & just enjoyed swimming in the sea. Definitely pack water shoes as it’s rocky and slippery. The deck landing close to the water was not suitable for hanging out, chairs could be updated and wood needs to be replaced. However, there are plenty of other spaces to sit and enjoy the view up at the main house. My personal favorite was the landing above the pools. Morning coffee, reading, extraordinary breezes - simply the best spot in the house. Suites were cozy and spacious, rustic island vibes. Wish there was air conditioning in the main house, the fans were not enough to stay cool comfortably, especially when the doors had to be closed to avoid the bugs. Not a property issue but the mosquitos are intolerable! Bring repellent, and extra! Half of our family got bit even in the suites despite taking closed door precautions. Pools were refreshing & perfect, hard to walk barefoot on the rocks near the lap pool & preferred the outdoor shower to the cinnamon suite one. Quirks of an island home but our family of 6 LOVED our stay! The owners, Rick and Karen are wonderful hosts with excellent tour/dining suggestions, top notch responsiveness + patience with our many questions/needs - check in with rum punch🍹& overall thoughtful attention to detail.

What a home!!!

This house was amazing! 2 pools, 1 was 9 1/2 deep and the other was 3.5-6.5 feet. Beds were all very comfortable. The views of sunset each night were stunning! The owners were also very very helpful with arranging a person for transportation and very easy to work with. They arranged a dinner to be made for us on the night of arrival and that was amazing as well!!! 6 stars out of 5!!!! We will come back!!

Villa Beachcliff -- Everything you could hope for and more

From the moment we stepped onto the property, we knew we were in for a fantastic week. Rick and Karen are incredibly gracious hosts and were responsive to our every question and need. Villa Beachcliff was the perfect retreat for our crew of 7, ranging in age from mid 40s to 80. It was so perfect that we were content to spend much of our time in one of the pools or curled up in a breezy corner of our own with a good book. The fully equipped kitchen allowed us to create meals with local ingredients and there was a perfect-sized table on the porch for us to enjoy them together and engage in after dinner conversation or games. There is also plenty of space for a random dance party. I especially recommend the upper deck facing the Caribbean for all day breezes and gorgeous sunsets. Water shoes are necessary to fully enjoy the beautiful rocky beach at the base of the property. We took a ride to the Belmont Estate for the chocolate tour and buffet, had a fantastic lunch at the Aquarium Beach Bar, and took in some local beer and breakfast at the West Indies Beer Company. All were worth the trip. We rented cars through Rick and Karen from Parkey -- Ray was so great to work with and the cars were in excellent condition! In sum, Villa Beachcliff is a fantastic location with plenty of space to be together and apart and all the amenities you need. Thank you so much, Rick and Karen, for the obvious care you take to make stays at Villa Beachcliff so special!

Great Holiday In Grenada

What a wonderful holiday we had in Grenada and especially staying at Villa Beachcliff. My wife and I, two children and their spouses and three grandchildren (ages 20, 17 and 15), just spent 11 great days at Villa Beachcliff. The property is what is advertised, no doctored photos. It is great. We especially enjoyed the two pools and the great views. The facility was first rate and Rick and Karen were great hosts. If we had questions or issues they responded promptly, not only about the property but attractions and dining options. Though I never really got use to the stones on the shower floor (you have to rent the place to find out what I am referring to). As for Grenada, the people were wonderful, the food was great and we especially enjoyed the all day island tour and an all day snorkel tour. We also spent a lot of time just touring the island by ourselves and also a lot of beach time. If you have never been to Grenada....GO. It is safe, inviting and friendly. And if you want to stay in a great Villa with plenty of space, not a cramped hotel. You will not go wrong by staying at Villa Beachcliff.

Family Vacation back to Grenada

We stayed at Villa Beach Cliff with our adult kids for a trip back to Grenada. We had gone to school and lived there 28 years ago. Rick and Kathy were gracious hosts and met us when we checked in. Their home was perfect for our family of 6. we enjoyed the pools in the afternoon after a day out around Grenada. Our favorite family hang out was the top deck. The breezes from the Atlantic were refreshing for morning coffee or evening wine. The sunset views were stunning. With the help of Rick and Kathy we brought Chef Kim and his wife Stacey in for 2 dinners. The meals were delicious and they were so professional. They cooked, served and cleaned which was much appreciated. The bedrooms have AC but the living area does not. They have fans but we spent most of our time on the top deck for the views and ocean breezes. The house has beach access to a more rocky beach. We went to the University Club and kayaked around the bay to more sandy beaches. We also liked the neighborhood feel and took lots of walks in the mornings. Rick and Kathy also help us secure a rental car which was convenient for trips to the beaches and diving around island. We also had a masseuse come to the house which we got the recommendation from Rick and Kathy. She was excellent and did a wonderful massage. All in all it was the most perfect backdrop to a family vacation and reunion back to Grenada.

Mini vaca

Our daughter is a student at SGU & we were moving her home.She was coming from the college & us from NYS. It was conveinent for her, easy for us-airport is close,grocery delivery was right on time as was our airport pickup which both were coordinated with Rick. Our party came in batches of 3 so Rick had 3 rounds of Rum Punch prepared! He gave us a tour of the place & how it all worked. It was just GREAT! We enjoyed the pools,a chef's dinner, beds were comfy cozy & rooms cool for sleeping. It was wonderful - can't wait to go back!! Della L

You don't want to miss this place!

This place is basically a private resort with something for everyone! Rick arranged to have us picked up from the airport and had our rental cars waiting for us at the house. He greeted us at the house to show us around and welcome us with a cocktail! There were nine of us ranging in age from 12-50 there was plenty of room for everyone to spread out and have privacy when needed. The place itself was beautiful, we spent many mornings on the upper patio having coffee and watching rainbows form in the distance. Rick and Karen were the ultimate hosts arranging for everything we needed from a chef bringing in fresh fish and preparing it for us to cook to a tour of the local sites, a private catamaran tour and even a van to take us to dinner one night. They were always available and friendly when we interacted with them. So glad we got the opportunity to stay here, it's certainly a vacation that will last a lifetime!

Wonderful stay

Rick was the most helpful and communicative- making the traveling and planning process as convenient and easy as possible. He had all of our excursions set up for us with excellent recommendations. The Villa accommodated our group of 8 (4 couples) perfectly with individual suites. The sunsets were our favorite- especially when we had Chef Kim preparing dinner for us. Snorkeling excursion was a blast- we saw turtles, eagle ray, underwater sculpture park, eels, and plenty more. The day trip around Grenada with Andy was an unforgettable experience and helped us appreciate the island culture even more. Our favorite beach was BBC- the fish tacos & fries at Plywood were so yummy! The Villa manager was very responsive and assisted with our power issues promptly. Would recommend Villa Beachcliff to everyone!

Beautiful Grenada Villa

Rick was a wonderful host. We requested a last minute change to the nights we were staying and he was able to accommodate. Great communication from the host and the house manager Cheryl. She was able to secure our party a rental car and gave many great recommendations. We would definitely come back if we return to Grenada.

Amazing property. Rick and Karen were extremely helpful.

Beautiful home. Rick and Karen arranged our rental cars, provided transportation to and from the airport. They also had provisions we asked for waiting for us and arranged a chef. It was very easy and relaxing. Highly recommend Villa Beachcliff.
