This 2 story pet-friendly home sits in a quiet area of St. George Island & boasts some of the BEST views! With a wraparound porch on the top floor, you can enjoy a cool view of the bridge as well as some stellar sunsets over the bay!
On the top floor are 3 bedrooms with: kitchen/dining room & living room, 1 king bed, 1 full/queen bunk, 1 queen bed, & 2 full bathrooms. On the bottom floor/basement is a full bath, screened-in private pool, screened porch with bay views, ping pong, darts & more!
With 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms, there's plenty of space for the whole family. The main living area is located on the top floor. On the east side of the house is a king-sized bedroom as well as a bedroom with a full over queen bunk. These bedrooms share a full bathroom with a shower/tub combo across the hall. Adjacent to these rooms is the open living room, kitchen/bar and dining area. Enjoy the spectacular view from every angle here! On the west side of the main area is a queen bedroom and additional full bath with a shower/tub combo. On the bottom floor of The Salty Snapper is where the fun begins! Enjoy swimming in the private screened-in pool, play cornhole and grill your favorite meal outside, or enjoy foosball, ping pong, and darts in the basement. Downstairs we also offer a shower and full bath along with a washer and dryer and an enclosed patio for additional bay views.
The Salty Snapper is all about location, location, location! Here you are just a 3-minute drive from beach access, or a half mile walk. You are also right down the road from the lighthouse (a great photo spot!) and the island's grocery stores, and just a few minutes away from our favorite restaurants which include Paddy's Raw Bar, The Blue Parrot, and BJ's Pizza & Subs. If you feel like venturing off the Island, we suggest you sit back and enjoy the scenic drive over the bridge and head to Apalachicola! A quick 20-minute drive, Apalachicola is a historic fishing town bustling with fantastic local seafood, bed and breakfasts, boutiques, and it's home to the famous Oyster City Brewing!
There is ample parking for your group at The Salty Snapper. There are 2 car pads in front of the house to accommodate you. We ask that you do not park on the grass. The location is central to lots of things to do on the island, making it easy for you to drive or bike around!
