Patrudys place 200 E Gurrie
Overall the property is nice but could use some maintenance. Upon arrival we noticed black hair on all the sheets, dressers and sinks. There was 2 bulbs out and 2 remotes with dead batteries. We rented Sunday to Sunday. On Monday we realized the washing machine was broke. It got replaced on Wednesday during lunch. The people replacing it did leave a big mess. I contacted Collins and they sent someone out to clean up around 5. I did have to go up to the house from the beach several times due to this. They gave me back $121 for my trouble. They also sent new bulbs and batteries. The internet here is TERRIBLE. It is not password protected and I assume people around us it. It was basically useless. My sister stayed couple houses down and there’s worked. On the walk way going to the beach there is several screws that have come up that you will stub your foot on and some rotten boards. The 2nd bedroom the bed is really loud everytime you move. If your a lite sleeper you will wake up when you move. I am 6’1” and my feet hung off the end of it. 2 of the chairs on the back porch are broken. The breaker tripped a couple of times for the main bathroom while people was getting ready.
On a good note though house is in a great location. You are within a comfortable walking distance to restaurants, shops and the park. You have a great view of the ocean and direct access onto the beach. It’s a shared walk way with one other house. The A/C works great. The outside shower area has warm water and my family loved that. With all the issues I had Collins (the property manager) was easy to deal with.
