We recently stayed at this property on St. George Island. The house was comfortable — a bit older but well-kept — and check-in and check-out were smooth. The location is fantastic, just a short 5-minute walk to the beach, with plenty of fun things to do nearby.However, I did face some challenges with communication. My messages to the owner weren’t responded to despite a few follow-ups, which was a bit disappointing since I had read many positive reviews about their responsiveness. It might have just been an unusual situation, but the “If you see it, say it” concept didn’t seem to work in our case.Overall, it’s a nice property in a great location, but I hope communication improves for future guests.

Great house

Very clean with plenty of room!! Hot tub did not work as advertised, contacted owner, no response but I’ll check on it. Did not fix issue during the stay! Overall good house, clean and in a good location.

House is amazing. Small little blip checking in but property manager took care of it immediately. Couldn’t be happier with the property. Absolute gem of a place. Close to everything! Second time we have stayed here and we will be back. Love, love, love it.

Good location, not spic and span

It is a nice house within a short walk from the beach. The kitchen was lovely and had needed cooking utensils for meals. We enjoyed the amount of space and the beds were really comfortable. The elevator was convenient for loading and unloading. The advertised hot tub, a selling feature, did not work. The host sent emails before arriving about “see something, say something.” We did upon arrival and 2 days later we got a reply that it was broken. Then nothing more was mentioned. The house has a musty odor, likely from water damage. It was tidy but not clean. Overall it’s a decent property but we will not stay here again.

Most definitely will stay again at the property. Weather wasnt the most pleasant but we were able to take our boat out to sea and fish. Rooms were comfortable and clean.

Long Weekend Family Getaway

Our family enjoyed this property. We ranged in ages from 88-6. The elevator was extremely helpful with the check-in and check-out process. Everything was just as listed on the VRBO website. Communication with the owner was great!

Spacious House for Large Group

Great house and location! Plenty of bedrooms, beds, and lounging areas inside and on the screened-in porches. Large kitchen with all necessities. Elevator was a welcome blessing! We did have a couple of issues while there. The cleaning crew didn’t do a thorough job before our arrival, but host Daniel was very responsive and apologetic about it. That’s why I only give 3 stars for cleanliness. Don’t let that stop you from renting. He addressed it swiftly! Very comfortable property.

Wonderful Vacation!

We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful and spacious house! Everything was perfect. The two large screened in porches are fantastic. The surrounding trees provide a lot of privacy and character. We could not have asked for a better stay.

Great place for a large group

This was a perfect place for our family. It's a terrific space for a large family or friend gathering. Elevator is a huge bonus for getting stuff upstairs and making it possible for elderly / less mobile family members. Multiple comfy King beds makes sleeping adult couples much less of a challenge. Kitchen is well equipped, and pantry is huge! Extra 'fridge is a godsend when feeding a crowd. Walk to the beach is a breeze. Screened porch is really lovely, especially in the evening. Owner is accommodating and communicates well. Highly recommended.

St George Island get together

Four couples enjoyed this spacious house on the island. We each had our own bedroom and bathroom. Some issues with the hot water were addressed promptly. As with many rentals, this house could use some updating, but our stay was very enjoyable.
