Have fun with the whole family at this spacious 2200 sq ft single family ranch home with workout basement located right across from the Fox river, walking/bike path and park and our gigantic water playground pool complex with arcade, mini golf paddle boats, and regular golf ! The Fox River walking path is just steps away from my driveway and will take you to both downtown Saint Charles or downtown Geneva where there is an abundance of dining shops and parks. This Home features 36 inch wide front door along with wheelchair ramp to get up to two small stairs to the front door ! If you’re looking for luxury yet, Cozy this is your place ! From the chef’s kitchen to the hotel quality linens, and towels and alpaca/wool hypoallergenic bedding you you won’t be disappointed ! For the kids, I provide a giant connect 4, dartboard, cornhole, games, and a fun ping-pong table ! For you equestrian folks - we are straight down the road from the equestrian center HITS and five minutes from Northwest medicine Field. For our guests that have mobility issues, I provide a wheelchair ramp, walker, shower, seats, and wheelchair upon request A full gut rehab in 2022 transformed this family friendly ranch into a luxurious yet cozy blend of Farmhouse style decor complete with Maple wood floors, marble and iron fixtures throughout. All reservations come with complementary fresh bread and homemade canned jelly from our local farmer! Reservations over five nights include eight tickets to the local pool or golf course or our famous paddle wheel Boat - the Bell of the Fox River.
The home has a beautiful large walkout basement complete with full size washer and dryer and children's play mat and darts with Weights for adults and opens up onto a beautiful stone patio complete with fire pit and grill. Walk to restaurants, bars, Pool complex, splash Park and close to both iconic downtown Saint Charles AND Geneva!!!

The space
Welcome to our beautiful Farmhouse home! We fully rehabbed this home in 2021 and put in beautiful maple floors with marble and stainless touches throughout! it consists of three bedrooms and three full bathrooms Plus a garage for your use. The upstairs consists of two spacious bedrooms with queen size beds and two full bathrooms with one attached master bath.
The beautiful spacious fully remodeled walkout basement consist of a bedroom with two twin size beds, a plush movable, single bed with a brand new foam pullout on the basement couch and an additional full-size bathroom and desk area with monitor and printer upon request for the business traveler. There is a giant soft play mat area for kids with toys and for adults I provide dumbbells and handweights for people who do not want to miss a work out. I also provide games such as connect 4, darts and a card table for the adults to have some fun as well!
Guest access
The guest has full access to the entire home including garage walkout basement and full-size washer and dryer!
Other things to note -
This home is located across from the trailhead overlooking the Fox River. We are right by walking/biking paths that go straight to the town of Saint Charles and Geneva. There are numerous bike rental places available in season for your use. There's an abundance of parks nearby and wildlife to enjoy. Don't miss out on the five star restaurants in Geneva and Saint Charles you will not be disappointed!

Great St Charles location

We rented the house for my son’s wedding in St Charles, bedrooms and bathrooms were great. Kitchen was well stocked and basement was a great place for the groomsman to get ready for the wedding. The wood floors do creek if you are in the basement. Road noise is also an issue, and very Limited view of the river.

Great house and location near the Fox River

This is a very recently updated house and is in great shape with nice furniture, hang-out space and new appliances. You have really easy access to both downtown St. Charles and Geneva. The Fox River bike path/ trail is right across highway 25 and there is a trail head right there. We rented bikes from Mill Race Cyclery end enjoyed the ride along the river to Batavia and back. Both Geneva and St. Charles have nice downtown areas with shops, restaurants, bars and bridges to cross to see the river. Our group included two married couples and two adult children. The six of us easily fit in the 3 BR set up. There is a nice little patio outside that is nice place to relax. We want to give a lot of credit to the owner, Stephanie, for her responsiveness. We had an unexpected maintenance issue. This is a house after all and just like any home, sometimes things have to be dealt with. Stephanie immediately jumped on it and got the situation resolved very quickly on a weekend. She was very communicative through the process. We would definitely stay at this property again when we are in the area!

Fantastic Place!

We were in town for a family wedding the same weekend as a dance/cheer competition. Since it was a small wedding, no hotel blocks had been set aside, and by the time I got around to booking, they were either full or super expensive. Then I found this place, and it was better than a hotel! We had three couples, so the three bedrooms and three bathrooms were ideal. The house was immaculate and well stocked with everything we needed. Every surface is new, and we loved the open kitchen and living room. The location was close to downtown Geneva where the venue was. It's across the street from the river and a walking path, which we took advantage of. Though the street is busy, we heard no noise from the inside. Communication was smooth and easy and check-out was a breeze. We chose this because it was a ranch-style home, and we had our elderly parents with us. There were three steps from the driveway to the house that we had to help them navigate, but they are mobile enough to do that with a hand. The walk-in shower curb was low enough for them to manage. They both really appreciated the shower chair. Thank you for the great stay. We really enjoyed it!
