Everything was perfect. Room and service exceptional and polite. We own a restaurant bar in Paris, Dragon et Phenix, and I did not realize that the staff, partially French imports working the seasonal shift, and turned out to know many in around the island. Small world. The restaurant was diverse and creative. Nothing was wrong here.

We stayed at the Sereno in August of this year, having moved from an initially different hotel, and this hotel is truly magical. The rooms are not particularely large, but very well appointed, amenities are superb and the pool as well as the pool service are top notch. The restaurant is dreamy, although overly quiet and somber in the evening, to the extent that it is uncomfortable and spooky. We chose to go in town after the first evening. They do however serve a very nice breakfast. This is quiet season and we enjoyed the peace and quiet. The access to the ocean is truly wonderful, stepping in a protected part of the bay, where we swam along the turtles. I loved this hotel so very much.

I had one dinner there during my holiday in St. Barth. The location is wunderful, very classy with simple style, the staff is very very polite, italian cuisine at top level, really one of my best dinner experiences in St. Barths. A bientot.

Two weeks later and just now posting on an incredible trip to St. Barth's and another impeccable experience at Le Sereno. My wife and I along with another couple flew down to stay at Le Sereno for a long weekend. As soon as you walk in, the manager, Vincent, greets you with the most authentic smile you could think of. Two nice ladies help acclimate us to our surroundings and the grounds. All efficiently executed. After getting situated in our rooms, we made it straight to the beach/pool area where Martin was impossibly fast at preparing our "lounging station" and asking for a drink order. From there, the next three days were just a lot of the same - great weather, excellent service without being all over you, delicious food and just a generally indulgent feel to the place. We did a good job of exploring the island and frankly there are a lot of fantastic options. The general theme being one of cool, understated elegance with solid food. That said, at the end of our trip we all agreed that Le Sereno stood above the rest for a lot of reasons but primarily for its location and service. We felt at home from the first minute on and cannot wait to return. In fact, we're already checking calendars for when they reopen! Hope these hurricanes leave them alone.

Top Notch Service. They coordinated to have someone meet us at the St Maarten airport and escort us through customs / security. 10minute flight to St Barts. Vincent the manager was exceptional. Staff are all multilingual and eager to please. Beautiful view of the bay with turtles etc swimming. Rooms are private and open, with floor to ceiling views of the bay. Restaurant is open air, and has unbeatable vistas of the bay under a protected awning. Lovely place for breakfast and dinner (with the lights of the island reflecting on the water). Top notch wine selection. Service is incredibly attentive without being overbearing, whether in the restaurants, the beach (towels and water in buckets of ice) or the room. Staff was spot on with dinner recommendations - some of the best food ive had in my life (Japanese / French fusion, Italian, local seafood). Dive shop and good inexpensive seafood next door. Only thing to consider is that taxis are very hard to come by and expensive, so arrange in advance. Kudos to Vincent and the team at Le Sereno

This is a wonderfully quiet property with excellent staff and well kept grounds, fantastic views and spa facilities. The pool is perfectly centered above the ocean for excellent views and. The dinning room has a fantastic collection of entrees and edibles at more reasonable pricing then elsewhere on island and at higher quality. Appropriate for small groups, couples and larger gatherings -- not children--please.

Booking your stay at Le Sereno is a must in St. Barthelemy. The property grounds are excellently maintained, our villa was perfect and the location is convenient for all interests. The staff is wonderfully professional and always ready to assist with a smile. I really enjoyed the pool, beach, quality bar program and excellent cuisine at Le Sereno. Vincent was particularly helpful with our plans leading up to our trip and while on island. Many thanks to the staff at Le Sereno! You made my stay very memorable.

We have stayed at Le Sereno several times over the years, but this time was above and beyond with the level of care and service the staff provided. The concierge services were professional, pleasant and anticipated all of our needs. Prior to our arrival they handled all of our concerns (arranging transportation, reservations, etc.) Anne helped us before our arrival, and then Vincent and crew took over. The restaurant meals were delicious and the setting couldn't be more beautiful! Pool drinks were served with a jovial attitude and the guys were truly hoping we enjoyed ourselves. I'm not sure how housekeeping kept the villas so clean, all while their visits were undetected by us. We had a few tasks for the staff after our departure - and they were just as diligent about following up even though we were no longer on the resort property. Their attention to detail makes us feel like valued guests. I look forward to our next stay at this resort. St. Barth's is a magical place, easy to get around, and a beautiful atmosphere. Make it that much better by staying at Le Sereno!

Le Sereno is situated right off of Grand cul de sac bay, a dreamy and picturesque cove which is part of the natural marine reserve of Saint Barths and offers an array of water sports and snorkeling. This hotel has become one of the leading, go to locations for a serene and relaxing St Barts experience. With its attentive staff, outstanding dinning, innovative room decor and settings, as well as their spa treatments exclusively by Sothys, you will not be disappointed.

We stayed in one of the 3 villas. The hotel is small enough anyway - 36 or so rooms. The villa was wonderful for more than 4 people. The man area has a master with lovely en suit bathroom, another sleeping area with en suit bath, a gourmet kitchen, large deck, and private pool - all overlooking the Grand Cul-de-Sac. St. Barth is know by various "lagoons" or bays. There are Columbie, St. Jean. Shell Beach, Laurient, etc. We loved the Grand Cul-de-Sac because the turquoise water is quiet and only several feet deep - making for perfect kayaking, kite surfing, swimming and snorkeling. But more than all of those things, what made our stay so nice is the staff. Frank, who manages the front desk and rooms, is personable and insightful. Chef Alex made us a wonderful meal in the villa and it was as good as or better than most restaurants on St. Barth. Donatello works the restaurant on site and he was friendly and very attentive. Really. I am leaving out many others who knew our names after a day, knew what we liked to eat and drink, and they almost anticipate every need. They arranged events, cars, reservations, etc. Just simple luxury. What those who have been to St. Barth will tell you is that it is a 10-15 drive from Nikki Beach, Eden Rock, and the port for shopping. But that's what we liked. You can get away from the action when you want and take a cab or drive when you need it. Le Sereno is also close to Le Toiny and Hotel Christopher (both nice places with great views and exclusive feel) when you want to hve a day at the beach or a meal elsewhere. Le Sereno is also next door to the new-ish Le Barthelemy hotel which is worth a visit. My final analysis is that Le Sereno is more old-school charm and sophistication. You can feel that ambiance and presence from the grounds to the staff. The gym is a bit lacking, and you should be sure to pick your room or villa after speaking with staff about potential road noise or location on property. BUT...stay here!
