The Lodge is nestled in a quiet corner in the former mining village of Polgooth and has outstanding views across the valley.
This stunning property has been finished to a very high standard and provides all the comforts you will need for a relaxing break, deep in the Cornish countryside.
The property boasts open plan living accommodation with south facing conservatory. It has excellent facilities including fully fitted kitchen with integrated appliances including dishwasher and washing machine with granite work surfaces. The comfortable lounge area includes electric leather reclining sofa and separate ‘easy boy’ chair with the dining table set in the conservatory. There is a 40” smart TV with Netflix and all other players available.
The bedroom has a luxurious super king sized bed which can be easily transformed to two single beds if required.
The fully tiled shower room has been beautifully finished with an extra large walk in rainfall shower and large chrome towel rail.
Throughout the whole of the accommodation there is a piped Bluetooth system to all rooms including the shower room allowing for connection with any smart device.
Outside there is a private, south facing patio area for al fresco dining complete with table, chairs and parasol.

Relaxing & pleasant week
The Lodge is a lovely accommodation and ideal for a couple wishing for a quiet base in central Cornwall. It was spotless with all the essentials, including decent wifi. Also in easy driving distance to both coasts with a local shop for essentials with larger shops just a short drive away., including St Austels Brewery :)

The Lodge, Polgooth
We would definitely recommend this property.
Opened in April 2018 the owners have created a contemporary space ideal for a self catering holiday in Cornwall.
The Lodge is in a quiet location ( we visited early June) and comfortable with all amenities that you would expect.
The Lodge is well located for sightseeing on both Cornish coastlines. Host Sue and husband Pete are very knowledgeable about the area and places that may be of interest off the beaten track.

Fabulous stay at The Lodge
Wonderful Easter break at The Lodge. Sue and Pete took great care to ensure we had everything we needed for the perfect holiday! The accommodation was spotless and beautifully furnished with the latest technology. We will absolutely be back!!!
