Sisters trip
Our trip was an annual getaway for four sisters and their husbands. For the most part, we really enjoyed this property. The views from the balconies were great--we could see the beach and the lighthouse. The beds were comfortable and baths were sufficient to our needs. The kitchen was good-sized and appliances were nice--it could have used a few more dishcloths and utensils. We had a really hard time getting the living room TV working, but finally did. There were a few items that needed improvement--the outside stairs leading to the pool are warped and could be a tripping hazard. Also, a piece of the stair railing going down to the pool is missing. The sliding doors going out to the 2nd floor balcony are very hard to open and close and get stuck easily. There were no shelves in the pantry so we could not store anything in there. As far as location, we were very close to the beach, although the beach in front of the property was very wide and lots of vehicles were parked haphazardly there and were coming and going a lot. We preferred the quieter beach to the left of the property. The pool was small, but very nice and the perfect way to cool off. There are a good number of parking spaces, and the elevator was definitely a plus. All in all, it was a very enjoyable weekend with beautiful surroundings. Thank you.

It was all we hoped for.
The elevator is a must for luggage, groceries, and a daughter with a broken foot. It had some hiccups and we needed two different crews to work on it.The main floor water heater was broken and we couldn't get anyone out to fix it for three days. The refrigerator door ice and water dispenser does not work. There was a miscommunication about laundry. We were emailed directions to leave only one day's worth of laundry. After doing several loads, we spotted a not on the wall by the door stating that they have a laundry service and we were not to do any house laundry. The package of powdered dish washer soap supplied left a white residue on the glassware and dishes. Washing a second time with my Finish pellet did not remove it. The house was extremely comfortable for our family's needs and we appreciated how clean it was.

Nice floor plan!
Conveniently located quiet neighborhood steps from the beach. Publix was a short walk. Elevator was a plus for the seniors. Having two front porches looking at the ocean was a plus for our morning coffee. Property needs some cosmetic updates but 5 stars for cleanliness. Our family had an enjoyable Thanksgiving stay. Thank you.

This home is absolutely gorgeous. I loved the spacious rooms, 2 balconies, and the elevator for convenience. I also loved that we were steps away from the beach. I would highly recommend this place.

Great house with poor management company.
House is in a great location and beach was fantastic. The house was in need of repair in many areas. Inside and out The Siding on the deck ceiling and on the front of the house was falling off and tripping hazard until we moved it. Management company Vacasa was horrible and not helpful. Elevator was very nice since there are three levels but it stopped working on the third day. I would rent this house again if the management company Vacasa was replaced and the house updated.

Our home away from home
This home is perfect. Great location right on Vilano Beach with a Publix right around the corner, beach access right in front of the house, and a nice place to eat by the pier. The house itself house a great layout where the whole family can lounge around in the living room with lots of natural light and a great view to the beach. Any stress you have just melts away here. I checked out and I miss every minute. Can't wait to stay here again.

Excellent location!
We really enjoyed this home! We have a family of 6 so it had a great layout for us. The kitchen was fully stocked for ease of meal prep. And the location right on the beach could not be beat! The home was at the end of the street so pretty quiet, just the way we like it! Yet it is close to St. Augustine so it was an easy drive to this cute historical town.
I only rated it 4 stars because the communication with the property management team was inconsistent so it made us feel as though we were working with a call center.
We discovered a problem with the refrigerator on our first day (ice maker was leaking) and the first person said someone would come out to look at it. I waited a couple of days and texted back and communicated with a new person who didn't have a record of the issue. This continued over the course of our stay (new person, repeating the issue). So, when we checked out, I simply sent another text to remind them of the problem so that they could address it before their next check in.
All in all, it was our first time to the St. Augustine area, and it was a truly wonderful stay for our family!

Wonderful Property
We had a wonderful time staying at this home in Vilano Beach. The home was large enough for us all to spread out and have our own spaces. We saw dolphins swimming daily and loved the location. The pool was smaller than we thought it would be, but our kids still loved it. We would love to stay here again.

We had a small family reunion the elevator was key to some of our elderly family members. Bathrooms were never an issue as each family had their own and the VIEWs, were simply amazing.
Loved having three tables to be able to eat and game play.

Great Location
This was a beautiful property and an excellent location. We all thoroughly enjoyed it, and would definitely return. The reason why I did not rate it five stars across-the-board is because there were some issues with cleanliness and management of the property. They did not provide any dishwasher detergent, so I guess we shouldn’t have been surprised that several of the dishes in the cabinet had crusted food all over them. We also had to request a propane tank for the grill. The Wi-Fi access is listed incorrectly on the website versus the text message sent to me by management. However, the views were amazing, the rooms and beds were comfortable, and the space was excellent.

Great house, amazing location, TERRIBLE customer support experience
A great beach house in a fantastic location, tarnished by awful and non-existent customer support.
Pros: big, bright house with high ceilings, on a quiet, dead-end street, right on the beach. Short trip to downtown, close to a grocery store, excellent location overall. Big lovely balcony with an amazing view and rocking chairs, enough bathrooms for a big group. Very clean when we arrived.
Cons: Beyond past critiques of the tiny pool, somewhat tired appearance of the house, and silly setup with too many twin beds, the vacation management experience with Vacasa was very unpleasant. Check-in is at 4 pm and, though there was no one staying at the house for 2 days before we arrived, we could not confirm early check-in in advance, even when we offered to pay for it (very inconvenient when you're coming from out of state). The house lacked several basics that would have made for an easier stay: no laundry detergent, no additional trash bags, no tupperware or saran wrap, no cooking oil, no beach gear (there are a few leftover beach toys presumably from past guests, that's it). And, it is truly impossible to get help or answers from Vacasa. We were traveling with small children and had a few questions in advance to ensure we were set up for their stay—I sent several messages through the booking platform and never received a response, spent nearly 2 hours on the phone, talked to 5 different customer support agents, and still could not confirm any details or get meaningful help. In one of these conversations, I was told there are no beach towels provided for guest use and was sent the contact info for a vendor in Miami to rent them (FYI: there actually are plenty of beach towels at the house). The Vacasa customer support agents were clearly not local—likely an offshore service—and were not empowered (perhaps even punished?) if they connected me to local support.
To the homeowner: I understand the benefits of using a property management service like Vacasa, but strongly urge you to reconsider. What would have been a 5-star experience at your beautiful house was unfortunately ruined by our experience with them.

For big families
It would have been better to have a larger bed in the larger room instead of three more twin beds. Seems 4 twin beds should be enough.
