At first glance the room appeared normal. After spending a few hours in the room I started to itch. Under the mattress had mold and some kind of stains. There were no other rooms available so i ultimately had to get a refund and try to find another hotel at 10pm.

Got into short notice. Done for one night as a business fellow alone. I’d never stay there on my own travels, but done when all you need is a bed. Smelled stale and the air freshener they tried to cover it up with was strong and disgusting.

Palatka is a small town with not very many options. The Best Western is for sure one of the better places to stay. The room could have been cleaner, but I could say that about any hotel room, and it had a moldy smell to the room, not sure if it was coming from the A/C unit or not.
