It was very well maintained and we really liked our stay. The condo was spacious and we all had a good time. The one negative I do want to highlight was the Mountain Grill Restaurant. The wait time was terrible. We gave 2 cards to the server to split the bill and both parts were on the same card. I wanted my leftover packed and he said he will do it but I never got the food back.
Great time skiing! They never put us in the computer as being in our room and security tried to open our door in the middle of the night. It was really hard to sleep after something like that!
ski on/off was great, new carpet had a really strong chemical odor & should have been aired out, there was no television remote so while watching tv in bed at the end of the day, we had to get up to shut the tv off which was really inconvenient. Overall place was clean & convenient
We stay in a nice studio near to the welcome center love the mini supermarket it has everything dont have to go out love the pools i went to 3 of them we rent a golf car and we when all around the mountain beautiful we had an awesome time in the resort My kids love it ! It was a beautiful experience !
It was early season so unable to ski in ski out but the shuttles are constantly running up and down to the main base lodge. The village is so much fun. Everything was within walking distance.
Nice locations and lots to do at the resort but our room was very dated. Looks like it has not had any updated in decades. it it was clean.
Rather confusing when arriveing late at night and leaving early in the morning.
The motel was very nice although there were a lot of amenities closed for the season. There was a big mix up with my reservation thru this company and no one could seem to resolve the problem. So I left very disappointed with management. Again "this Company"pretty much said though luck and said you deal with it it's not my problem. so would never recommend them ever. After returning home I called the motel directly and spoke to Jessica who was great and fixed my problem immediately. I'm sure this place would be great at peak season, there is lots to do if you are a nature lover.
Had a lovely break at the Smuggler's Notch resort. Were upgraded into a huge apartment with very comfortable furnishings. Pool was not functioning but the rest of the facilities were great. Will definitely like to go back.
The place was fairly pricey and there was not a lot of handicap accessibility for the rooms. Nonetheless though, the staff was very friendly. Everyone of them. I did not meet a rude person there and that can be rare. There were restaurants and awesome pools along with lots of activities for kids.It was a very safe place and absolutely beautiful scenery. It was very peaceful and relaxing. In each room there are cooking utensils and dishware. Also make sure you schedule a day in advance so that they dont have to charge your card and then refund it after they receive the payment. Wish we could have stayed longer. I personally look forward to going back there once we save some more money up.
Smuggs rooms are small condos, fridge, stove, fireplace, very nice! Stayed in mid fall there are lots of hiking and biking trails, 20 minutes to Stow (until snow falls because they close the "notch") where there are lots of places to shop and always things to do.
We went on what was apparently the busiest weekend of the year in the Burlington area. Bthis place had a 2 bedroom suite available, so we booked it and werent disappointed. We really only slept there however. The resort seemed wonderful. The staff was always friendly as were all the local residents while we were visiting. I would definitely go back here during ski season.
We arrived to find out we were "upgraded" but when we saw the room we truly wondered what we were upgraded from! It looked and smelled like a remodeled musty cellar. The place was very worn and the furniture was so small it looked like it should have been in a childs room! Our last morning we awoke to evidence of a mouse on the kitchen counters, it wasn't a total surprise considerning the amount of spiders that were there. We paid "resort" prices for a cellar, go figure! We did walk around the resort and there were many ammenities, but there were all "worn" and tired looking. Unfortunately the place a very weird vibe and just wasn't overly welcoming......sorry :(
facing the mountain on one side and the valley on the other, very nice condo-suite and good to very-good restaurant about 7.0 to 7.5 rating
Our suite was fabulous! We were very pleased. Everything was clean and the fireplace added the perfect touch to complete the ski vacation feel We will go back with our kids on our next visit.
