The hotel is a little peaceful oasis with lovely swimming pool and garden even is placed on a main beach road.Rooms and all facilities are very clean and tidy. Only what I missed was more hooks, hangers or rails in bathroom. One hook on the door is not enough for more towels, bathrobe and to dry a bathing suit. Staff is always there to assist you with a smile. Ayurveda treatments are relaxing and doctors and therapists are professional and helpful. Especially my therapist Romen was amazing. My 3 weeks stay in Jetwing Ayurveda Pavilion was planned as an experience of Ayurveda treatment and relax and I was really pampered all the time.Morning Yoga lessons as a start of the day are great and yoga trainer Dananja leads classes very professionally. The restaurant serve vegetarian food according your Dosha ,food is delicious and nicely presented on a plate.Menu is not known before so every meal is a bit surprise.I would definitely recomend this place to stay if you are aiming for this type of holiday.
My stay in Jetwing Ayurveda Pavillion was amazing. It was a last minute decision, I didn't have too much time to evaluate and reseach but I believed that I was led to it for a reason. And I was! Serenity and peace, beautiful place, ambiance is so calming, clean, staff so friendly and always smiling... what more to ask for?! Location is great as it is only some 20 mins from the airport, beach is just across the road. Even though there is a pool in the hotel, guests can use the beach and the pool of the sister hotel, 450m down the road. That same road has restaurants and shops to stroll around. Ayurveda treatments are amazing. Doctors are knowledgeable and helpful, assisting you in solving your issues, therapists so professional, always with a smile on their face. Medicine is being brought to you regularly. You are really being pampered. The hotel and its facilities are extremely clean. Rooms are cleaned twice a day, towels changed, bottled water provided, umbrellas, flip flops, in the room, some interesting books to read are also available in each room... it is really well taken care of and maintained. Staff is always there to assist you with a smile. I had a problem with my back due the matress, and it was immediately changed and I was given a matress that fit me better. Within no time it was replaced and the staff asked me several times if it was better or not. They actually showed they cared. There were some extra activities, such as morning yoga which was so relaxing, cooking classes, pool exercises, music therapy with sitar, which was a whole new experience for me! Beautiful! And now the best part of my stay... The food! That was some culinary treat! Three meals a day, according to your dosha and requirements (I was detoxing) were never the same! That was a surprise game every time I would go for a meal... I never knew what delicatesse I was to be served because every single meal I was served was amazingly delicious and tasty. We also had cooking classes where we actually got the recipes and were shown how to do some dishes at home... Shame I was detoxing, and didn't get to enjoy the culinary experience to the max, as my portions were restricted due to the detox (but largely sufficient!). Overall experience was great! I would definitely recommend this place and this package: the stay with ayurvedic treatments, to anyone looking for some peaceful, re-setting holiday that will be a great boost to your healthy lifestyle and an amazing experience! Also, the location is great and you can book one day trips to discover the country, like I did. Amazing & beautiful!
My partner and I loved our massage. All the lovely oils and smells put me to sleep and I'm still floating on cloud 9 hours later :) Body and mind feels great. Ask for Ruwan or Madu they're awesome! Approx $40 US for an hour long treatment. Well worth it
We stayed at this hotel for few days as it was near the airport . Worst check in experience as we were kept waiting without any explanation and new guest who came after us got their rooms. No TV in the room. And ayuvedic treatment were charged at dollar rate to disguise the high amount. Food was disgusting . Food at breakfast was very limited. No bread of any kind . It was just a so so hotel
Of all Jetwing chians hotels in Negombo, this hotel is not better than others. Room is good and clean, but the supplies is not enough, no comb in the bathroom. Here's swimming pool is very small, and breakfast is so simple, and Yoga is so easy. but price is not low. service is not warm.
We went to this place with friends we booked through booking.com we booked rooms of same category but when we checked in my friend got a massive room where the Ac hardly worked and we got a room which Ac worked and nice but very very small The hotel seems to be frequented by people from Eastern Europe a lot the day we where there they had one male masseur and two female masseur for the entire hotel and they come in only at 11 am ! They had a set breakfast which was balanced traditional not a buffet which was served by an eversmiling sweet old lady to everybody who we felt was the best asset the hotel had !
We booked two massages, confirmed.two Hours later the lady called is. - we have issues with our doctor your massages are cancelled ! We do not need a doctor for back massage ! - In fact we have top vip clients coming and you are not welcome anymore ! Liars and unfair, vip clients are for sure more important than two swiss tourists. Hope you will think about it twice Before booking .. Try The Jasmine villa cheers
I stayed here only one night but enough to say that it is very quiet, clean, good service. People mostly come here to experience the Ayurveda treatments and relax, but even for a traveler who is stoping by can be a very nice experience. Ayurvedic salutation and Welcome drink on arrival. Staff is very kind and efficient. The room was amazing, simple but somehow different than the rest of the hotel rooms, and all the rooms are located in pavilions, so when you walk thru you have a feeling you are in a small village. Good speed wi fi. And it is so close to the beach, just across the street, and bars and restaurants, shops. The pool iz great, and breakfast also...That omelette was so delicious 😊 If I go back to Negombo I will definitely stay here again.
Firstly, I booked for the last day here for my wife and I along with a few friends with the idea of having a few Ayurveda therapies before we head back.. Pros: - Location - across frm the beach, restaurants on either side - Lots of green inside the resort - The architecture of the resort is very pleasant and welcoming Cons: - 1 male Ayurvedic masseur for the entire resort !!! I didn't get my chance in the 2 days ! - The villa category accommodation which we were upgraded to had air conditioners which would be atleast 10+ yrs old, we sweated throughout our stay. - The service is almost non existant, the high tea my wife had on day 1 was left in the garden till we vacated late on day 2 - The reception staff are total rip offs, I requested for an airport drop off van ( being 4 of us with baggages), I was informed that it would cost me LKR 6000+ for a 20 min ride. We paid that much to come from Colombo to Negombo which was 1.15 hrs. We stepped out and walked into a shop with a board 'Taxi', he charged us LKR 2500 for the drop ! - At the time of check out the staff at the front desk was smelling of alcohol - The breakfast though was totally healthy (being the theme of the resort), service was pathetic. The saving grace was this lady who did the service with a real broad and genuine smile. Overall I would surely recommend to avoid at all costs, there are much better properties around, this is a total spoiler.
The facilities well maintained. Peaceful at all times. Staff very helpful. The team of doctors and therapists highly proffesional. Detox and healing programs well designed. This is the place to visit if you are aiming for a wellness type of holiday!
