WE booked this hotel 3 months ago to come to Cottbus and celebrate the birthday from my wife , myself and our best friend. After making the booking I rang the hotel and told that my wife is in a wheelchair. We are having special room for people with wheelchair and I will reserve this for you. What if I could not bring my own wheelchair. No problem next door is medical center and we could arrange one from there. Arriving at the hotel and checking in. Then to the room !!!! VERY VERY SMALL. No room for the wheelchair to go, just enter and stop. Not possible to go to the bathroom, this is so small - 1.70 x 1.70 mtr with 70 cm. shower in the corner. So I went to reception and was told that special room for the wheelchair was not available because other guests. Then they send some person with for me other rooms, but all where the same, very small and smaller. I had also booked the Bistro !!!! from the hotel for a dinner for 4 persons. They did not told me that the Bistro has been in the hotel but removed several years ago. Now you just order meal and get it from the kitchen. So another disappointment. But we ordered the meals anyway. After waiting about 40 minutes only 3 meals came and the waitress told that a college of her had taken the meal from my wife and given it to another table. Please wait little and I will bring it shortly. They were serving all other tables and after another 30 minutes we did asked, where is the meal for my wife. Answer; Can`t you see we are very busy !!! I was shocked with this answer, and wanted to test if our meals where still warm. Tasting piece of vegetables second shock. SO SALTY never eaten this before. So again asking the waitress after 10 minutes where is the meal and also that she could take this meal back because of the Salt. ANSWER; You should have told me how much salt you want, nothing I can do now. So I told her that I will not eat this and gave the plate to her. Our friend had ordered fish dish, and this came in a paper bag with plane rice. The British serve it on the street and difference is that fish is rolled in news pàper. ONE HOUR later waitress came, and asked in a very ...... voice, do you want now the meal for your wife or not. 3rd shock of this behaviour. My wife needed to take medicine and said yeas I take a steak, medium please. Within 10 minutes came the steak, but this only had seen the frypan and was completely row inside. So we walked out. Next morning we left and reception asked me; how was your stay ??? So I told briefly what kind of a dump this is. Oh, sorry to hear, and sorry but our manager is busy to talk to, but you can send him a Email. Have a nice day.

We booked this hotel as a stopover for two adults and three children. The hotel is well located opposite the station and within reasonable distance of old town Cottbus. However the hotel is very dated, almost to the point of having retro charm...but not quite. The whole place, including the wood panelled rooms and peach end throws on the beds, feels very faded and of the 1990s. We checked in to a friendly welcome but had to prompt a lot of info out of the receptionist...breakfast? Parking? To the hotels credit parking was free and secure. Despite booking for five we had two double beds. My husband addressed this and was told that sometimes children share. Well, not ours. Hotel tried to charge us a further 25 euros for a camp bed that I didn't pay. Again, to their credit , the hotel waived the fee. I do feel the pricing policy needs clarity though, we believed we had booked rooms with complimentary snacks and drinks but everything had a price attached and in room info wasn't helpful so we ended up not using much. We disliked the lack of clear information. We also found, as we had two rooms, that each room seemed to be missing something. For example, I had teabags but the other room didn't. Also no inroom kettle, just a very noisy coffee machine. Other room had stuff in the bathroom that we didn't. Bathrooms were good and seemed pretty modern, lots of clean towels and good lighting. Loved the This Works toiletries BUT went to use mine to find a couple of items had been opened. Breakfast wasn't the best, not of the standard we are used to in Germany. We also had to clarify the age of our youngest child and sign something at breakfast and we didn't like that...it isn't very welcoming. I know we could have requested a kettle, fresh toiletries etc but there is a limit to how much Im prepared to chase up on a one night stay. It seems a shame that this hotel has so many issues that could be easily resolved with clearer pricing and better housekeeping. We travel to or through this area fairly regularly but I cant recommend and wont be staying again.

Pleasant business hotel with all necessary services fully provided. All common business traveller's need are satiated by kind and helpful staff. Hotel provides parking and restaurant within its premise, both of satisfactory quality.

Our stay at the hotel was good, but this same as in any other hotels of this type. Tips: improve quality of coffee served with the breakfast and please add some more lightening to the rooms (under the ceiling), so it is possible to work there.

I have been here a couple of times, and too date not been negatively influenced. I can readily recommend this place to anyone for a stopover, although very close to the Main Station it is a very quiet Hotel, Great Breakfast and a good Bar.

This hotel is just across the train station and the trams right outside are a good service to the old city (5-10 minutes). The receptionists are warmly welcoming and glad to answer all the questions you have. I was granted a late checkout and I managed to use the pool and the sauna. Very clean and accurate in all the services. Not tried the breakfast as the cost was not worth my needs. Water in rooms way too expensive, but this is quite common anywhere. Highly suggested for business and pleasure stays.

We got a room on executive level (some nice refreshment at elevators) as an upgrade as a Concierge member of Club Carlson, and got nice welcome gift too. The hotel was very busy with a wedding and several tourist groups, but services was still very fine, the staff was very nice, even when got to the restaurant some minutes before closing. The food was very nice, also for breakfast. The hotel is close to the train station, but is not an easy walking to get to the city centre, we used our cars. It was not to easy to find the way to the car park, and the way to the hotel, but it was good to have.

Very good services, breakfast, confortably rooms. They also provided a ticket for the public transport to use in location during my stay - nice and helpful! The location of the hotel, next to the train station, is an important thing to consider, specially in european area and/or countries. Inside the hotel, there was a good options for dinner/restaurants, but the hotel its not far away from the center of Cottbus. So, it could be possible to find another places easily for lunch or dinner - yes, you can use your free public transport ticket provided by the hotel to do this ;)

A high quality Radisson Blu Hotel, Nice friendly staff, Good size room with the room looking over the inner courtyard, easy to find and a Great Breakfast Buffet. I found the value to be okay, standard was good.

The hotel offers a peaceful atmosphere, room was comfortable and clean. The room was cozy, our room had a separate bedroom which was nice. The breakfast was good. Parking garage available. Location in the center next to the excellent transport connections. Price was reasonably good value for money.
