We stayed here for 2 nights this week. The people at reception spoke good english and were very happy to give us advice on getting boats to trogir and booking a taxi. Our tours in the morning were very early but we did get a chance on the last day for breakfast. The selection was minimal but what you expect for a 3 star continental. The room had a lot of ants on the floor which we weren't sure where from but despite this the room was fairly clean and well tidied each day. The bathroom was nice and the view from the balcony was stunning! One of the main concerns was the fact there was no lifts. We were on floor 3 and the staircase was fine as we are young students. I know my grandparents or disabled people would not be able to get up the amount of stairs. Another problem was the distance form trogir and split, cars caused a lot of traffic at the bridge from our island to trogir but thats a matter of location not the hotel itself. On the contrary, because the location was off the main island, the restaurants nearby were cheap and o good quality! So were the local beach bars. I would certainly recommend for a short stay on a budget :)
Family run Hotel close to beach and several restaurants. Fantastic small Pool to cool down after day in the heat.Lovely breakfast.Helpful and friendly staff. We ate 2 evening meals here and would recommend the food here.
Good view from our room on the 4th floor. Room was clean but a little outdated. Breakfast buffet was mediocre, I had a fruit salad that had turned and would make good sangria in the future. Nice beach at the campground close by, and you can buy some good liquor from Martin there.
Very friendly staff in all areas! Great breakfast in the morning and dinner in the restaurant in the evening with a varied meny. We stayed in a tidy room with a refridgerator and air condition, the bathroom had a shower and the balcony table and chairs. Sadly smoking was allowed at tables underneath the roof in the breakfast/dinner area outside. It's located very close to the lovely beach (with lots of places to eat/go for shopping) so we never tried the pool but it looked nice. (To small for swinning but great to cool down I guess.)
Clean rooms, almost every room with seaview. Quiet area one block from a small beach.10 minutes walk from a bigger beach with lots of bars resturants.Taxit boats to Trogir and islands tours. Exellent service and very friendy staff! We vill bee back!
We stayed 2 weeks in the hotel. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Food was good to breakfast with anything you expect in a hotel that size. Pool is a plus if you want to chill after a beach day. 10 minutes from the beach which is the less touristy beach with two restaurants and good food, boat rental snd a tiny port
We just spent 2 weeks here and couldn't fault anything ,lovely and clean , close to all amenities, lovely friendly people . This is the most relaxing holiday ever ,we didn't want to come home ,we will certainly go back :-)
Super place to stay thoroughly enjoyed our 10 day stay here staff so welcoming and helpful lovely breakfast every morning and plenty of variety to choose from thanks to all for making our fast stay in Croatia most enjoyable
We stayed here for 4 nights in May and had a great time. Simon warmly welcomed us and our room was ready though we arrived around 10am due to an early flight. He was extremely helpful and gave us all sorts of useful information and even organised for us to hire a scooter from the hotel one day. We did have a bit of a problem with communication - although Simon's English is very good, I don't think we always got the answer to the question we had asked! The room itself was very clean and comfortable. We asked for a sea view and got one - definitely worth it! There is free Wifi in the rooms which seemed to work very well throughout our stay. There were no tea and coffee facilities in the rooms, and minimum toiletries - small bar of soap and shampoo sachet, but we took our own anyway. There is a hair-drier which is available to borrow from reception. There is plenty of storage in the room with enough shelves in the wardrobe for everything to have its place, without having to pile things high. We stayed Bed and Breakfast - indeed the restaurant wasn't open until our last night and enjoyed the selection The hotel would benefit from an information board with a bus timetable and local amenities. There is a long beach in Okrug Gornji- a good 10-15 min walk down the hill. in season this would be regularly interspersed with food and drink establishments, but these were mostly closed in May. The closer beach is down a short hill and has no amenities but it does have some shade, so is better for relaxing on. See also my review of Ciovo Caves (we didn't find any caves, but I can't find where else to put useful info on transport and general island info)
We stayed here for seven nights in June 2014 and would highly recommend it. Our room had a great view of the sea and was immaculately clean. The small pool is perfect for cooling off after basking in the sun, and all of the staff are incredibly helpful. They booked an excursion to Krka National Park for us and arranged for our airport transfer to be rescheduled when we realised we wouldn't need to leave so early. Nothing was too much trouble. The beach is only a short walk away, as are restaurants and a couple of supermarkets and bakeries if you want to pick up snack supplies. Breakfast was delicious, with a wide choice even for vegetarians, the lunch salads were delightful and the beers nice and cold. A great base from which to explore the Adriatic Coast.
