We stayed at Traveler Spirit last night and it was our second Earthship experience. Every time we do this, we fall a little more in love with the lifestyle.The living area and kitchen were our favorite spaces. They felt incredibly cozy, yet the high ceilings made everything feel open and roomy at the same time. It struck that perfect balance between grounded and expansive.The vigas are beautiful and add so much warmth and character to the space. You can feel the intention in the design. It is simple, sustainable and peaceful without feeling sparse.If you are curious about Earthship living, this is a wonderful place to experience it. We left inspired and already talking about when we can come back.

An incredible experience

Staying in this earthship was a truly great experience. It’s such a unique place. We went at the end of June and it was very cool and comfortable inside. Our hostess was very responsive and concerned about our comfort. I highly recommend staying here. We will be coming back next time we are out this way.

Family trip August 2024

Property was very clean, well appointed and exactly as described. I was curious about earthships so we booked. It was an interesting experience, in a good way! Everything was nicely appointed, the main bed was super comfy and the coffee set up was a very nice touch! Property might be a little tight for four fully grown adults but my two daughters were fine on the sofa bed.Lora was really responsive and kind too. A great experience.

Wonderful Experience

I have been interested in Earthships for over 10 years and finally got the chance to experience staying in onw for a few days. It was perfect for us. Only wished the bed was a Kingsize, but other than that it was very enjoyable. I hope to visit again someday.

Milky Way nights

This area should be designated a Dark Sky area because I've never seen such a wonderful display of stars, complete with a vivid milky way. No one in the community has outside lights shining at night, so everyone contributes to this spectacular show. The house is beautifully furnished with lovely art and every convenience. What makes it special is the opportunity to experience a more mindful existence in our world. I was conscious to close and open doors to the solarium to preserve the cool air in the living quarters. And while there is plentiful water, I was more attuned to not wasting this precious desert resource.
