This bright and airy 2 bedroom cottage makes a wonderful base for anyone wishing to tour the West, hill walking, fishing, golfing, and horse riding as you are very centrally located.Enjoy an evening BBQ on the small front/side lawn. There is free wifi & the cottage is pet-friendly.Spiddal is a charming village with many excellent bars and restaurants as well as wonderful scenic walks and beaches. Perfect Location

The location of this property was ideal from quick access to Galway to the very good restaurants and pubs within a 10 min walk. The property is on the smaller size, perfect for my wife and I, but would also be ok with adding 2 children. Yvonne was fantastic! We would definitely recommend!

Quaint village

Compact cottage, clean and comfortable although a little dated and Patsy our host was very welcoming and helpful. You would need a car if visiting Galway as 30 mins away but well worth it as the journey very picturesque and Galway a fabulous city. Spiddal is a lovely village and the craft village well worth a visit.

Charming cottage

Spiddal Cottage was delightful! Both rooms were spacious, the living room was lovely, the kitchen small but with all the necessary appliances. We didn't ever cook there, so I can't say anything about the pots, pans, spices, etc. The mattresses were quite firm. Bring your own entertainment if you want to watch something. The wifi worked great and we had access to the washing machine, which was very nice. Patsy was accommodating and super nice! The area was stunning, and a great place for a ferry to the Aran Islands or a drive along the Wild Atlantic Way. Highly recommend.

Quaint and compact

The cottage is lovely. More compact than the pictures show. The bed was comfortable and we had everything we needed. Would be nice to have a shower caddy so you can have easier access to your soaps and shampoo. Easy walk to the village and nice options for food. Patsy did a great job of settling us in.

The cottage is great. Advertised as having wifi, but it does not work consistently.

The cottage is located close enough to Spiddal to walk and view the area. It is a lovely place to stay. Lots of room and has a wonderful set up of the necessary amenities. The owner is wonderful and helpful. If you need wifi then it can be inconvenient. It is sporadic at best.

So Lovely!

This little cottage was lovely, so cozy. Patsy was equally a delight. She had everything I needed for a peat fire, which I loved every evening! The cottage is exceptionally clean and very comfortable. It was the perfect home base after my adventures in Connamara!

Good location to explore around Galway

House has all you need. Clean and tidy. Slightly dated but thats part of its charm. However the beds are not very comfy. A bit tired now bit lumpy. We got over it by laying on top of the quilts. Brilliant location for exploring Galway and Connemara. Pasty is lovely and friendly. Loved our stay.

The cottage is well maintained and very comfortable. There is also a washer and dryer which we used. We loved staying in Spiddel which is a cute little village and is centrally located. It is not far from the Aran Islands ferry and a great jumping off point for a drive around the Connemara region.

Comfy and perfect location

Everything we needed for a week away. Two adults and a small dog fitted very comfortably. Ideal location, 10 minute walk to centre of Spiddal and sandy beaches. All the lovely beauty spots within an easy drive. Patsy (owner) was delightful. Would love to return.

We loved our stay. Perfect cottage near the sea

Cottage was exactly as advertised perfectly clean wonderfully located just a walk to the sea and the beach and the pub 25 min easy drive to Galway and only 25 min drive west to rossaveal where a ferry hits to all the Aran islands which you must so on a trip. Patsy was wonderful. Cottage was clean and sunny. A great peat fireplace for ambiance. We will definitely come back again.

Perfect location but cottage does need a refurbishment / update

Great location for beach and little town. Property satisfactorily equipped . Not spotlessly clean overall and rather tired looking but did not let this spoil our stay. Patsy the owner / housekeeper was pleasant and helpful.

Excellent location and cosy little house. We loved our stay here.

We stayed for a week and were made to feel very welcome. The location was ideal and very close to the local village, where we enjoyed drinks and live music in local bars. During the day, we made the short journey into Galway for shopping and also boarded the boat to Inis Mor, which is also nearby. Patsy made sure we were stocked up with peat for the fire and treated us very well. The only problem is that our stay had to end. If we can get the time off work again, we intend to revisit this cottage.

A perfect little cottage! Nothing fancy but clean and fairly spacious, it was perfect!

I was a little confused by the real estate company communicating with me at first but it actually made it really easy! Patsy (the owner of the house) was so amazing and helpful and gave great advice! We felt very much taken care of!
