The little water that was running was brown then in the morning there was No water & no wifi

Hotel is way in the country side. It’s a very tranquil place to stay. The food is excellent. Erica made our meal time extra special. Her hospitality was like being at home. The young lady at the front desk was also very accommodating. Wherever we wanted to go she made sure we had a ride. Only complaint was no wash clothes. That’s so miner but we would definitely stay again. 😉

Just as pictured and described. We went in late July, during the rainy season. It did rain daily on and off again. Still worth the trip. The food was fine for me, however although the Blue Waters Inn staff wrote that the cook would make made to order vegetarian meals quite easily, this was not the case. Beside Caesar and side salad, the only vegetarian lunch option was the Veggie Quesadilla, which was good, but not something you want for days straight. No veggie dinner options at all. When we requested a grilled veggie sandwich with lettuce, tomato, avocado, and cheese, the waitress produced a bun with only one slice of pepper, a bit of onion, and cheese - all for the price of a sandwich that normally contains that plus a chicken breast, bacon, and avocado. Pretty disappointing. Regarding diving, we emailed with our intent to dive on Monday and Tuesday. We arrived Sunday and spoke with the divemaster of the Blue Waters Dive'N and confirmed the dive for the following day. When we arrived at 8:45AM, he was not present. After 10 minutes, he appeared saying that the driver of the boat did not show up for work and was not expected. He suggested diving the following day. When we insisted he call another dive shop to arrange diving for that same day, to his credit he did do so. At the top of the hill, just outside the Blue Waters Inn there is Tobago Dive Experiences. Great, dependable, experienced diving. Highly recommend.

Very friendly staff, excellent location. rooms are spacious. food was good, but it took quite long to get it. restaurant would be well advised to have more staff. service was excellent and very friendly but they lack staff. great views and possibilities for boat trips, snorkelling, bird watching. greta for nature lovers.

The hotel is situated in a cove with the beach right at your doorstep. The view is amazingly beautiful and the waves literally lap at your doorstep. The rooms are comfortable with air conditioning, a ceiling fan and modern bathrooms. A little maintenance - such as replacing light bulbs, worn blinds, and re-painting, etc. would go a long way to make these rooms excellent. There are safes in the rooms which are especially convenient for beach and water activities. The restaurant sits looking towards the beautiful beach cove and has been renovated with open-air shaded tables with ceiling fans; there is also another section of the restaurant with indoor air-conditioned seating. The restaurant has excellent food for the most part, with a varied menu for breakfast, lunch and dinner, as well as appetizers available for the rest of the day. The service is island slow, so be prepared. The waitstaff varies, with some friendly and accommodating while others are just overwhelmed and curt. The bar area is next to the restaurant and has a nice bar with bar seating, shaded cocktail tables and outdoor tables. The bartenders are happier (understandably so -- they don't have to deal with slow food service for the most part) and friendlier, so the bar is a pleasant place to drink, snack, and hang-out. The bartenders need to keep the television tuned to sports for the most part with the volume down, and keep the music playing. The music was not always playing and it is really a nice selection

I wish I were there still, didn't want to leave, and continuously said, " I cannot believe how gorgeous this is", the whole time we were there. We did not bring a car, and honestly, though I could envision wishing I had one after four days or so, there are plenty of drivers, familiar with the roads, who will take you anywhere. Besides, it's nothing short of cathartic to walk these hills. The owners are lovely, welcoming people, who fully recognize the special nature of the place, and hold it as a sacred trust.

Great snorkeling and a beautiful beach. Great price and fantastic food. I would have to say the best part about the entire stay was the friendly staff. They were wonderful and made the stay exceptional!! We will come back

Blue Waters Inn is Awesome!! We stepped out of our motel room each morning, right onto a sunny palm-lined beach... Attentive front desk staff & restaurant employees listened to our needs, and provided immediate service. [...] (property maintanance)was very welcoming & friendly; he showed us the resident Macaw and introduced us to many other birds, crabs, lizards, and native trees. [...]were excellent snorkelling guides. The Friday night entertainers played native steel-drum music.

We relaxed a great deal and went swimming but good diving if that is what you want.Enjoyed bird watching and local experienced bird watchers very keen to take you out for a fee which was sometimes quite high but we all have to live! Blue Waters Inn is an unique place, remote, very quiet and only for people who can live with themselves and enjoy some isolation. It takes 1 and a half hours to reach the airport and Scarborough the capital as the road is narrow, winding with s bends.

Hi John, thanks for your feedback. We are deeply sorry for the frustrations that you experienced during your stay. Due to our remote location, and the fact that the entire island is experiencing record droughts we are unfortunately at the liberty of the government on when and how much water we receive. We have tried everything in our power to control this issue and we are deeply saddened that the guest have to be affected so drastically. As far as the wifi, we were also unfortunately amidst an area wide upgrade to the islands infrastructure which caused our internet to go down. We truly truly apologize that your stay wasn't to the standards that we hope for each guest. We do hope that we get another opportunity to make things as comfortable and relaxing as we know you deserve. Best wishes

Thank you for your feed back, we appreciate this. the restaurant is usually notified and arrangements made for special diets and will look into this. the dive staff being absent was uncontrollable since he would have eventually called in sick and there was nothing we could have done at that point. our deepest apologies for your inconveniences.
