Wonderful getaway spot!!!

Loved everything about this cabin!! Immaculate, very well decorated, updated kitchen and shower. Porch rockers, swing, and outside fire set yo. Owners took me on their tv to shown where the walking tails were as well as a beautiful lookout point. We definitely will come back! The owners were very helpful and quickly responded.

Fantastic experience!

Our cabin was just perfect - clean, comfortable, well-equipped. The property is beautiful. We love to go to the mountains every fall to hike, and there is a mile+ hike to a beautiful overlook site on the property. We were close to Rock Island State Park, Savage Gulf State Park, and Fall Creek Falls, so there were lots of options for hiking and beautiful scenery. The hosts were fantastic, available for any issues that arose (the gate malfunctioned one day). Highly recommend this property!

Peaceful retreat

We enjoyed staying at the cabin. It was so nice to come back to after spending time in the State Parks. The Lookout was an added bonus! Beautiful view!

Perfect Respite

Fantastic stay - cabin was exactly as described and pictured, immaculately clean, and very easy to find. Hosts were top-notch hospitable and have done an amazing job tailoring their property to create a wonderful experience. The property is far enough out to get away from light and noise pollution, enjoy watching the stars from the fire pit! Close drive to Fall Creek Falls. Be sure to stop at Publix in Cookeville on your way in to stock up so you can fully enjoy a time of rest and respite.

Beautiful cabin in the woods

The property is absolutely amazing! It sits on private land that has tons of trails to hike on. The host gave us a private tour on his ATV of the trails and how he built the property. They communicated very quickly with us and always making sure we had what we needed. They even helped us start our fire pit since we couldn't get it started ourselves and the wood was wet from a small rain shower. The cabin was perfect with everything we needed. The beds were amazingly soft and comfortable. We would recommend this cabin to anyone looking to stay in the Fall Creek Falls state park area. Perfectly wonderful cabin in the woods!

Beautiful Tennessee Cabin in Nature

My husband, 5 month old baby and I had a wonderful time in the cabin and exploring the property. It was a perfect weekend getaway and we absolutely loved the nature cabin vibe. It was very clean and cozy. We hiked to the lookout and the view is incredible! I would recommend planning a day to stay to explore the property. The main bed is very comfy and we were able to set up our baby’s pack and play in the same room. The bathtub was definitely nice after a long day of hiking. If it wasn’t so rainy we would’ve loved to use the fire pit. Bill and Erin were responsive and very kind! They provided a lot of information ahead of time so finding the location and checking in was very easy. We are for sure going to return when we plan another trip up to Tennessee!

Much needed getaway

This cabin and the scenery is absolutely wonderful. If you are looking for a quiet place to relax and take in nature this place is for you. It's obvious the owners have spared no expense to make their property nothing short of spectacular. Very clean, and neat and if you are a porch sitter like I am you have a wrap around porch for your enjoyment day or night. Would highly recommend and I will definitely be going back

Perfect weekend getaway!

We enjoyed our weekend so much!! The cabin was perfect, very clean and everything we needed was there. Erin and Bill are the best hosts! They gave us the grand tour of their 300 acre property and checked on us during our stay to make sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed. She even texted us from the grocery and asked if we needed anything!! How thoughtful is that!! Will definitely be back! Wonderful location for exploring FCF and Burgess Falls.

Exceptional!

This is by far the best experience we've had! The accommodations and hospitality is simply world class. We were looking for a quite get away in the TN mountains and are grateful to have found this gem! The hosts made sure we had anything we needed and had a wealth of information of the area. We certainty surprised our friends with the beautiful cabin. Kitchen, bathrooms and bedrooms were stocked with everything we needed. Words can't express how beautiful the lookout is both during the day and at sunset. Don't miss out on this secluded, beautiful wooded retreat.

Perfect Setting

We can’t say enough about this property & the hosts. It is super clean, well-appointed, and inviting. Bed & furniture was comfortable, good lighting throughout, strong WiFi & the kitchen had everything needed. Appliances are new & the hosts did a fantastic job putting the house & property together. We had the pleasure of meeting hosts Bill & Erin and pride in their property is apparent & well-deserved. Location is remote but close enough to the state park & waterfalls. If you’re looking for a place to kick back, relax & not worry about much of anything, this property is it! We also appreciated that the property & house weren’t surrounded by cameras like many other VRBO locations. Thanks to our hosts for helping to make our 3-day get-away perfect.

Remarkable Retreat!!

Wonderful cabin in a great location with all of the amenities you could possibly need. Very well kept and updated as well as very clean. This was the cleanest rental we have ever stayed in! Fire pits are always a must for us and this one was awesome and spacious with a well lit path leading to it with comfortable seating as well. The owners Bill and Erin were very friendly and gracious hosts offering to give us a tour of the beautiful property. The one mile hiking trail through the woods to the deck that overlooks the mountains is easy with gentle slopes and very well worth the walk. Gorgeous view!! We will definitely be making a return visit in the near future. Thank you Bill and Erin for sharing such a wonderful place. Our stay was relaxing and much needed.

Lovely, well maintained property

We found the cabin very comfortable and nice. It was spacious and great for our family. They provide plenty of toilet paper for a short stay and plenty of towels for whatever length your stay is. It was really relaxing and nice.

Erin and Bill are fantastic people and super attentive to our requests. The cabin was spotless, comfy and all the technology you may need. Perfect location to see many of the State Parks and enjoy the waterfalls. The lookout on the property is breathtaking. We'll be back!!

Wonderful Stay!

I will start out by saying that this rental was the cleanest VRBO that we have ever stayed in! The hosts went above and beyond to make our stay the wonderful!! The cabin had everything we needed and it was close proximity to several state parks which were beautiful! Erin and Bill treated us as if we were old friends. We felt extremely welcomed! They took us on a couple of UTV rides to familiarize us with the property and to allow us to experience a beautiful sunset!! One day, we never left the property and were able to hike 4 miles just walking on their trails! This was one of the most relaxing yet adventurous vacations we have had. I almost forget, we were able to be the first to try out their new and beautiful firepit! We do hope that we will be able to visit again sometime! I highly recommend this rental!!!

300 acres of WOW

The property was gorgeous and well maintained. The owners are welcoming and kind. There is trail that leads to an overlook with stunning views .our cabin was perfectly clean tucked away among cool shady trees. Spencer Tn is gorgeous. Thank you Bill and Erin for our few days of rest!

Perfect getaway

The property was very clean and inviting. The property is very spacious and the property owners were very nice and give you free access to all of the surrounding property for hiking trails. We loved the wrap around porch and there were no shortage of seating inside or out. This cabin is set up and decorated the way you would do it yourself not just thrown together to make a rental property and we loved it. The only thing that could have made it better would have been a hot tub but aside from that it was a 10 out of 10. We will be staying here again next time

Terrific cabin in the forest

This lovely cabin is absolutely terrific. The surrounding forest is quiet and serene with paths to hike around the property. There is a beautiful porch with rocking chairs and a porch swing for relaxing outside. The cabin is very clean and all the furnishings are comfortable. We cooked several meals in the kitchen which had nice cookware and dishes. There are multiple parks and waterfalls within easy driving distance and on top of all that, the hostess was very nice.

Perfection -

Well, how does one leave a review for the most magical place you've ever stayed state side, without letting the secret of this place out? Dilemma isn't it? I've been in the hospitality (hotels and resorts) industry for 26 years. I've worked for all the major brands. When people like myself, who are unfairly critical of everything they notice after all the years in the hotel business, I assure you, I don't use the word perfection lightly. Everything about this cabin/rental shows a caring of ownership and caring for people that is the absolute gold standard in my world. Sadly, even the most expensive of the resorts still fail to reach this level. But here.....yes, that level is achieved.... and even exceeded for some :-) The private hiking trails are something to behold. There are many things to do in the area that are top of class in their categories also. Summary: perfect location perfect cleanliness perfect amenities perfect housewares perfect furniture perfect (new) beds perfect hosts don't tell anyone.

The Perfect Place to Relax

This property is everything that's listed and much more. Communication was prompt and always helpful. The cleanliness of the entire property and cabin was exceptionable, and the kitchen is nicely stocked with more than what the average host provides. Erin and Bill live very close, so it's a great place for a single person to get away in nature without worrying about safety. If you're given the opportunity to view the overlook, don't miss it! We saw deer, turkey and 2 owls. We plan to return in the fall with more time to enjoy nature.
