Beautifully maintained, welcoming hosts

Lovely mini-villa with terrace and direct access to outside. Clean and well-equipped. We were family of 4. Two double beds provided so we asked for a single bed so children could sleep separately and this was done willingly with no trouble. Lovely pool, but you must wear a swim hat which you can buy from owners for 2.50 euros. Delicious breakfasts with home-cooked pastries, fruit, cereals, yoghurt, cheese, meat, bread, bacon/egg on toast (like a bruschetta). Evening meal available on some days, was very nice, good value at 20 euros each for 4 courses and wine. would highly recommend. Only one minor point please provide full fat yoghurts the low fat ones are tasteless and full of sugar. Would highly recommend.

Terra dei Santi

We loved this Bnb. There is a language barrier when talking on the phone... we had to make friends with Italian speakers so that they could communicate for us via phone (due to missing our train and being late.) But in person, talking was much easier and they were very helpful and friendly. Picked us up and dropped us off from the train station which was so nice. Lovely place. Breathtaking backyard with the swimming pool, fields and a pretty view of Spello. The apartment was very clean and nice. We took great walks to and from Spello (15-20 minute walk one way). They provided a huge spread for breakfast and kept trying to make us more hot food... we were so taken care of by the hosts. We couldn't have been happier with our stay. Thank you!

Accoglieza eccellente,posto incantevole e curatissimo. Colazione ottima e abbondante. L'unica nota negativa ma non riguarda il bed and breakfast e' che, essendo arrivati intorno alle 13,30 non abbiamo trovato nessun posto a Spello dove si potesse mangiare qualcosa,neanche pizzerie a taglio o rosticcerie erano tutte chiuse.Abbiamo chiesto a qualche ristorante ma hanno detto che le cucine chiudono alle 13.

Da tornarci, sicuramente!

Spello è una gemma e "Terra dei Santi" è una deliziosa, rilassante sistemazione per partire alla scoperta della meravigliosa Umbria. Immersa nella quiete della campagna, piacevolmente fresca e pulita. E i gestori sono persone squisite che sanno come far star bene i propri ospiti. Ottime e abbondanti le colazioni, impreziosite dai manicaretti della padrona di casa e dagli assaggini delle bontà locali (olio, vino). Il nostro alloggio era comodo e confortevole, ben arredato. Dotato di cucina con ampio frigorifero e forno, che però non abbiamo usato, preferendo gustare la cucina umbra, che val bene quel che si spende. Anche gli altri alloggi sono facilmente accessibili, pure per chi ha difficoltà di deambulazione. Sono disponibili diverse bike, e a pochi kilometri c'è una facile pista ciclabile che procede fino a Spoleto. Abbiamo pedalato fino alle Fonti del Clitunno con le nostre bambine (8 e 10 anni). E per mancanza di tempo abbiamo dovuto concentrare le nostre visite ai borghi principali, ma quanto ci sarebbe ancora da vedere! Anche le nostre figlie sospirano: "Peccato che la vacanza finisca....."
