What a fantastic place to experience Scotland. The view from the terrace is indescribable. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and can highly recommend the holiday home.

A week in the Highlands

Hunter's Lodge was peaceful and comfortable. The view was lovely, and the patio was a nice perk. The kitchen had everything we required. Check was simple, and the location was a great base for visiting multiple sites around the Highlands.

Wonderful place

This was the most quiet and beautiful place we stayed in our 2 week travel through Scotland. Communication with Gary was effortless. It is a perfect place to stay while exploring the highlands.

We enjoyed our time at hunters lodge. Just a magnificent nature in a very comfortable home. Only some more plates, glasses and stuff for kitchen would be good .

Great stay

We had a great stay at Hunter's Lodge, which was in a fantastic location (superb views across Loch Lochy) with so many mountains to walk nearby. The place was clean and welcoming. A couple of minor issues were resolved without fuss and promptly by the property manager. I would definitely stay here again and would recommend it to others/

Love loch Lochy

We spent three nights here and it was a lovely setting. The property was perfectly placed for the things we wanted to visit. It is close to Fort William, The Ben Nevis range and loch Ness to name just a few. The property had stunning views of Loch Lochy and was very tranquil and relaxing. We would recommend anyone to stay here.

Travelling with my young adult children, this was a very comfortable apartment in the larger building: one among several apartments. Very quiet while we were staying, well off the road and with an outstanding view of the loch. My son took a cold plunge in the loch one morning! The kitchen was well-equipped for our needs. Good location for day trips to Urquhart Castle and Skye.

Best place I’ve ever stayed in!

This accommodation far exceeded my expectations, the quality of the rooms, the incredible views, the ease of access and the decent parking all made this place the best place we have ever been. I was stunned by how good this holiday was, and for such a reasonable price too! We will definitely book again, and I will make sure all my friends and family are made aware of this gorgeous holiday location. Thank you for sharing your beautiful house with us.

Great place to stay, clean and modern

Very good location for seeing the sights of the Highlands Only one very minor suggestion and that is to change the smoke alarm nearest the kitchen, it would trigger even with lightly done toast, no smoke or burning, I'm guessing someone has had an issue with this before as I pushed the button on the detector trying to reset/quiten it but the whole thing fell away from the ceiling, it is held in there with tissue paper wrapped around the screws, not great for safety as it runs on mains power, no big deal and nothing to complain about, typing it here as I had no response to and email I had sent with another question so not sure the email address in the details is monitored

Magical

This property is magical! There's not a better word for it! The property itself is located right on Loch Lochy, which is a quick drive to Fort William, Spean Bridge, the Ben Nevis gondola ride area. The views from the property are spectacular!! I could have sat in the living room (it was cold outside) and looked at the loch and mountain right across for days! Everytime you looked at the mountain, there were different colors to see .. it was ever changing! From the snow at the top to the rainbow further down the loch. There were pheasants that came right up to the sliding door, and various other birds that we loved to watch everyday! Took the walk down to the water, which was lovely! The property itself was clean, spacious, and comfortable. Other guests were quiet and friendly. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone with a group of 1 - 4 looking for a wonderful place to stay!

Problems

Lovely property had everything we needed and fabulous view,however the website states it has a kind size bed which is infact a double we could not get any bbc tv and no one resolved the problem but my main concerrn is that on reading the visitors book there have been several dogs that have stayed in the property that clearly states its DOG FREE im sorry but this is not acceptable to us as had we have bought my neice with us she would have ended up in hospital. I think your website needs updating and these issues resolved

Parfait et inoubliable

Si vous cherchez une location sur le Lock Locky, n’allez pas plus loin, cette location est superbe. Emplacement parfait, intérieur sans reproche. Notre séjour a été sublime et d’une tranquillité inouïe…. Juste Whaou.. De plus une WIFI rapide et de très bonne qualité. Notre séjour en Ecosse a été super et ce logement n’a fait confirmer ces moments de bonheur.
