Very clean and beautifully decorated. Just right for 2 people. Had everything we needed, great kitchen and comfortable king bed with lots of pillows. Amy’s son is a lobsterman and we had 3 steamed lobsters delivered. Also very quiet place in the woods. Deer everyday! Would definitely recommend this place on the quiet side of Arcadia. Hated to leave!

The cabin was great. King size bed was better than our own bed. Never slept better. Our host answered all the questions I had. The cabin was stocked with anything you needed to fix meals and bathroom was also stocked. The area was very quiet. Even watched a deer walk thru the property. It was conveniently located to Acadia National Park and we made use of the Island Explorer bus system. We will definitely stay here again if we come back to this area of Maine. Highly recommend this VRBO.

We enjoyed our stay. The home was cute (and very clean). We were within 5 to 40 minutes of the hikes we did each day. Appreciated having plenty of bath towels and a large kitchen countertop/bar. The bed was very comfy.

We loved the cabin and the location. We enjoyed the deer, turkeys and birds who visited. So easy to access Acadia park and downtown Bar Harbor. A short and pretty walk over to the seawall and picnic area. We were very glad we chose SW Harbor as it was really the quiet side. The Harbor Table and Peter Trout’s Tavern are great spots for dinner or lunch.

Perfect location on the "Quiet Side" side of MDI

The cabin was the perfect location for all the activities we had planned during our 4-day weekend. It was located on a private road and although there were two other houses visible from the front porch, we felt very secluded surrounded by the lovely woods. Deer in the area were always in abundance. The quaint downtown of Southwest Harbor was just a few minutes away with some of the best food we experienced on the island - Clark Point Cafe (best breakfast!) and Harbor Table (amazing mussels!). The cabin itself was the perfect size for the two of us and it was clean and beautifully decorated. It is just like the photos. The bed, pillows and bedding were all very comfortable, and we slept well. Amenities like coffee, spices, detergent, hand soap, toilet paper all were provided. Our host Amy was always very quick to reply. We would definitely recommend! Other recommendations while in the area: MDI E-bikes to ride the carriage roads of Acadia; Thurston's Lobster Pound in nearby Bernard; Hike the Wonderland trail at low tide; Atlantic Brewing Company tasting room in Town Hill.
