Great communication from the host. Property was well presented & had everything we needed. Weather was hot but fans provided. Shower started hot, then went cold, then warm. Not a problem when it was so hot but could have been a shock if it was cooler weather. Would recommend the cottage.

We booked this cottage some months ago for a trip to Silverstone. Having received no information about check in by the day before our booking, I sent a message but got no reply. Despite sending further messages via the hotels.com app, we had no idea how to get a key for the property. On arrival, there was no one there. We rang the helpline and were transferred to someone in USA who didn’t seem to understand our situation and offered a full refund. By chance, we discovered a key outside the property and were able to get in late at night. The property was ok although the floors needed a good clean and there were a lot of dead flies around window sills. A very disappointing experience which was stressful - absolutely no communication.
