Bienvenido a Lil Red House, tu propio pedazo de paraíso. Esta casa frente al mar recientemente renovada está literalmente a pasos de las aguas cristalinas del Caribe. La propiedad es única en el sentido de que tiene su propia piscina natural de agua salada tallada frente a la casa donde puede bucear desde la casa hasta hermosos arrecifes de coral a solo unos cientos de pies de distancia. La casa en sí es la definición de "concepto abierto" con una sala de estar y cocina muy grandes que mantienen al océano como el punto focal. South Palmetto Point es una excelente ubicación central para aprovechar al máximo sus vacaciones en Eleuthera. Situado aproximadamente en el medio de la isla, es ideal si desea aventurarse hacia el sur hasta la playa de Lighthouse o dirigirse hacia el norte hacia Harbour Island. Lil Red House was just perfect for the 2 of us! Wonderful tidal pools in front of the cottage made for great shelling and kayaking as water was calm. Well stocked kitchen with new appliances. Gas Grill was a bonus! Central location. Island Farmers Market was few minutes south. GH was easy ride north. Visited Cathedral Caves and Ocean Hole . Wild Orchid in Rock Sound was delicious. Tippy's is a must! Pineapple Players Lounge in GH has best shrimp & fish tacos and wonderful drinks! Thanks, Jake and Phil for a wonderful vacation. Eleuthera is magical!

Lil Red House

The house was newly renovated and very up to date. Before we arrived we were told that the AC in the living area was not working due to a power surge on the island and parts were being ordered and would be fixed. The bedroom unit was working and (according to previous guests) was enough to cool whole house. While it did great for the bedroom, the rest of the house was warm. On our first morning, unfortunately the water heater failed so no hot water. Property management was very responsive and helpful as we notified them right away. Water heater replaced once one was located (3 days) and although AC was fixed, it never stayed working but we left the bedroom door open and it helped. Overall our stay was very nice. Beautiful location, beautiful island and lovely people. We know island life has its challenges but also its rewards....we would return :)

Snorkeling good straight out the cut in the stone ledge. Saw angelfish. Barracuda, lobster, green moray eel, stingrays House kitchen very well stocked. Could use a new toilet seat and bathroom door desirable. Ok for 2 persons. Great views from deck. Bug spray must in evenings

We appreciated the location - spacious home. Phil was very helpful and pineapple lounge serves some great tacos!! 3 J jerk take away is great- really great! Sunsets are right out the door. Encourage folks to use it buy The Beach Book for finding 170beaches on this glorious island. French Leave South and the Lighthouse beach were our favorites.

Fabulous return to Eleuthera

The Lil’ Red House was perfect for our trip back to Eleuthera. We came to the island for the first time on our honeymoon. 10 years later we got to return here and we’re so thankful! The location was amazing. We like staying in the middle of the island so we can go both north and south. This was our first time staying on the Caribbean side and it was the very best. Sunrise and sunset over beautiful, calm, clear water. The rental was well stocked with extra touches that we know are luxuries on Eleuthera. We made our breakfast and lunch each day and really enjoyed the view for every meal. We were excited for the coffee maker and floored over the washer and dryer! We had the best time snorkeling right off the porch in the water. We made it to other locations but waking up and walking outside could not be beat. We did have neighbors on both sides, but we had no trouble feeling privacy. The bed and space were great, and as we did not have our kids we could stay up late and watch a movie together or read books. It was just a truly wonderful stay at a great rental.

Wonderful stay in paradise

The house was clean and spacious and well appointed. We had everything that we needed to enjoy our stay. The owners were great at communicating and very accommodating. They even went so far as to inform us of some fridge troubles they were experiencing that had no effect on our stay. We would highly recommend this place to anyone wishing to explore Eleuthera and all it has to offer. The property manager was also wonderful amd helped us in finding some of the things we were looking for.

Perfect place in Paradise

Well-equipped kitchen, lots of beach supplies (chairs, snorkel fins, towels) . Efficient AC. Really nice to have a washing machine. The lofted ceiling makes the place spacious. Clean and modern. Beautiful waterfront view. The house is conveniently located in Palmetto Point so we could explore beaches in North and South Eleuthera, and go to restaurants in Governor’s Harbour. Highly recommend this house.

Lovely home with beautiful views

We stayed for 8 nights and loved every moment. The home is very centrally located, and within a short drive to many jaw dropping beaches. The view from the 3 sets of French doors and wraparound deck is gorgeous. The kitchen had everything we could think of to cook in, and was very spacious. There are so many cozy places to sit and take in the sounds of the ocean. The bed was extra comfortable. We hope to visit again.

Beautiful home and awesome location

We spent 11 nights at Lil' Red House. It was nicely centrally located in Palmetto. The home was comfortable, including the bed. Fully furnished kitchen and appliances. Washer and dryer. It fit all our needs. We would definately stay here again. Phil, the manager, was very prompt to answer any questions.

Great Place!

My wife and I stayed here for 7 weeks and absolutely loved it. Sunsets were amazing as the rear deck overlooks the Caribbean and the views are great. The host was great, very responsive and ensured that we had everything we needed! If you are on the fence.....just book the Little Red House!

Delightful!!

Lovely home near some of the best beaches we've ever visited. Attention to detail from the owner is obvious at this rental, including small items not always available such as shampoo, insect repellent, first aid supplies, plenty of bath and beach towels, paper towels, food storage, etc. etc. Good driving directions to the home and good reference for a rental car. This is a newer rental home and the grounds will be even more beautiful in a few years once the landscaping has grown in. Proximity to a farmer's produce stand was a huge bonus - be sure to get some of the fresh salsa and freshly baked bread (available twice a week while supplies last)! Centrally located, all points of the island can be explored depending on how much time away from the beach you're willing to spend in a car. We had issues with biting insects no matter where we were after dusk or if the when the wind died down, so be sure to bring good repellent and something to treat any bites. A few restaurants are available in Palmetto Point and there are others available in Governor's Harbor. Rent while you can, we expect this will become a very popular villa!!
