We are regulars at Sea Vista - 4-5 visits a year for the past several years. We especially enjoy the units on the south end of the south building (110 Gulf Blvd.). We had our best friends with us this time - 4 adults in a 3br/2ba This was our 1st time in this particular unit - #403. Short answer: we won’t rent it again. While it is the same size as the other units we’ve stayed in, it felt crowded and small because they have too much furniture and stuff crammed into too small of a space. Also, there was an abundance of locked closets and cabinets for owners - many more than the other units we’ve enjoyed over the years and signs in cabinets asking us NOT to use certain dishes and equipment (lock it up if you don’t want things used). Usually the kitchens have some basics - a few basic spices, mustard, ketchup, maybe olive oil - this had salt and pepper. My biggest surprise was the amount of space taken up with tchotchkes - built-in cabinets, free standing furniture display cases, multiple table centerpieces - and limited seating in the living area. I am sure it is fine for the owners and their family, but we won’t use it again when we are down there.

Just Right

Had a wonderful stay. Our family of six fit perfectly. The condo is clean, organized and had all the essentials. There is a convenient short walkway to the beach, with showers to rinse off. Check in and out process was easy and simple.

Perfect condo; we keep coming back

This unit is located in sea vista which is a great location. It is the last condo on the beach so not crowded. It is gated and well secured. We have stayed in this condo 3 times though it was our first time in this unit and it didn’t disappoint! I love that we don’t have to bring boogie boards, beach chairs,sand toys, or beach towels as they are all provided. The bathrooms are well stocked with plenty of shampoo/conditioner/body wash. The kitchen has everything you need. All of this makes packing and leaving home a breeze. The beds are very comfortable and there is a tv in each of the bedrooms. The beach is very close and easy to access. The condo has a place to wash off the sand and two pools. The washer and dryer are excellent. I was impressed there was even a first aid kit in the closet. They have thought of everything. Come get pampered.

Great Place to Stay

This is a great place to stay right off the beach. Overall the condo is clean, nice, and comfortable. We love being able to walk right down to the beach. This is the second time renting a condo from this host, and will continue to do so. We look forward to many more SPI vacations

Everything about this home

Everything listed about this home is what was expected. Pretty good location and short walking distance to the beach. Building was fairly quiet during our stay and building was pretty clean. Guest sometimes had a little trouble getting the entry door lock to open on the first try using the keypad, however overall experience was great.

Great condo

My family and I had a great time at this condo. The location is good with easy beach access. Fast internet and the condo was clean with plenty of room. I would rent again. A few things to consider, parking can be an issue even with the private parking area. The dishes were not as clean as we would have liked.

Condo is exactly as pictured and stocked well in terms of kitchen items, shampoo, paper towels and etc. The complex is nice and felt calm even in the peak of summer activities. Great beach and pool access.

Quiet location

This condo is on the southern most part of the island. Beach access was super convenient. The beach was not crowded at all, super family friendly, and quiet. The bedrooms were spacious and comfortable. The living space was small but it worked for our needs. Lovely condo, we would stay again.

Excellent property - highly recommend

We traveled from Austin, Texas to spend few days in the South Padre beach. Here's the review about this property: 1. Very Clean and upscale property 2. Can see the beach from the balcony - big plus, even hear the roaring of the sea at night. 3. Lots of light - not dark and gloomy 4. Next to the private beach - this is a huge plus. Get down from the elevator. Walk 1min, you are on the beach. And this part of the beach is much less crowded. 5. Everything pretty much stocked in the kitchen - we carried lots of food and cooking items with us. So we didn't need anything (except few tea bags and keruig coffee cups). Cooking-ware, cups.bowls, plates, utensils etc - everything there. 5. Gated property - so less traffic and safe. I usually don't like alcohol drinking beach crowd who makes the beach noisy and nasty. However, most the folks in this property and in the private beach area were family guys. 6. First I thought I was spending a little more than the budget (including the insurance $200 I bought in case anyone in our team gets Covid before the trip and we postpone/cancel the trip) - however it's worth the money and 6+ hrs drive from Austin. You will like this place. 7. This place has a personal touch of the owners - my wife noticed that the owners are ornithophiles (bird lovers). 8. We ate (take outs) Fish and chips at Seaside bar and grille - also had dinner at Painted Marlin (highly recommend) after sunset. These places are pretty close just few mins drive. 9. The Original Dolphin watch is also 3-4mins drive, you can even walk there. We plan to visit again in Fall or Winter. Thanks to Mark and Becky for providing clean place and good service. I highly recommend to stay at this place with family.
